I am the Talent Acquisition Director for Boston International Turner Syndrome Summit (aka BITSS), and had Cassandra Lee and the Acoustic Project come do a private concert for our program. They managed to get a group of thirty kids ages 12-19, plus 12 adult staff + board members up and dancing during the set. The music was exceptional, the band incredibly engaging, and it was a wide variety of styles of music all of which matched the tone and energy of the audience. Would recommend them every time. Bright Set Entertainmenteas great! My husband and I were so last minute in reaching out because we weren’t sure where we wanted the ceremony. We knew we were cutting it close but Cassandra reassured me that it would all work out and she’d find us musicians and sure enough moments after she sent over the list! She was great, the music was exactly what I envisioned for the church setting! We had a cello and keyboard player and they played modern music from Ed Sheeran, John Legend, and Josh Groban to name a few! We were very happy! The girls were on time, very nice and played the hour and a half during ceremony and at my cocktail hour. The music was picked by my husband and I and sounded so beautiful. The organization I work for just finished up our first summer event series with an outstanding country music night on the boardwalk. We used Bright Set to book the bands for three of our events and I can confidently say that the music was by far the LEAST stressful part of the whole event process! Casey is incredibly detail oriented, taking care to ensure that the band is a good fit for both your budget AND your vision, and because she’s a musician herself, she thinks of the little things that are super important but wouldn’t even cross your mind! But the thing that really blew me away about working with Bright Set was the personal attention we got from Casey. She showed up to the events to make sure the bands got settled, got the crowd on their feet and dancing, and was sure to let one of the bands know when their break seemed a little too long! Tonight she even manned the popcorn machine for a bit! Totally unexpected service, but I guess that’s what makes small businesses so great to work with. I hired Bright Set to find the entertainment for my event because music is not my forte and I needed to get that piece off of my already full plate! I described to Casey, the owner, the theme of my event and the budget I had to work with, and it was like she was in my head! She went above and beyond to find the perfect, most professional entertainment for my event and even showed up to make sure everything ran smoothly and that my guests were having a good time.
