I was in a wedding this summer and wanted an extra boost. I went with the photo ready glow and was obsessed! Having never been to a professional spray place I thought that I would be uncomfortable, but Alex and Meredith were beyond supportive and helpful throughout the process. Also bonus points for having the cutest waiting room. Honestly, the amount of compliments I got on my skin was almost creepy, but I've never felt more confident. Coming in from Detroit for a wedding and i had no time to get an appointment back at home with my usual salon. So i found Alex and Bright Bar and emailed her in hopes that she could fit me in. Not only was she prompt in our correspondence, but the location was easy to find, they figured out the perfect tan color for me and how long i should leave it on for the perfect tan (and the price is incredibly reasonable!) i had to drag my boyfriend along since we're both from out of town, and Alex planned our perfect day in Boston for us and emailed to me! Bright Bar is my new favorite tanning salon. It is conveniently located, not to mention they validate parking at the Haymarket Garage if you don’t live or work in the city! The owner is unbelievably sweet and down to earth. They will give you whatever look you are going for and make you feel fabulous. Seriously can’t say enough about how much I LOVE Bright Bar. Not to be dramatic, but their tans are life changing. I’m a regular spray tan girl and always used to dread feeling sticky, smelling like a spray, and then for the devastating time it would come off only a few days later. It feels like you’re getting dried as you’re getting sprayed, there is zero smell, and the spray lasted over a week for me then just faded away without streaks. I just got a spray here and I am officially obsessed. This place is so cute, clean, and conveniently located - I just popped in on my way home from work. Gill did an incredible job and made me feel so comfortable. I am SO pale and was worried about turning out orange or too dark, but the Nantucket shade is perfect - my tan is dark enough that I am perfectly tan and seriously glowing and subtle enough that no one was asking how I got so tan in the middle of this gloomy weather. Best new spot in the North End! As someone who is pretty pale, I am always weary of airbrush tans. Alex customized my color to make sure it looked totally natural! My tan has stayed even AND lasted (been almost a full week) and hasn't looked patchy at all. Very little odor to the products they use, and it didn't dry out my skin like many do.
