Excellent burger, a bit pricey, but ultimately worth it. The bleu cheese pairs really well with a nice medium rare burger. We had a 20 minute wait on a Friday night. I ordered a Shrooms Burger medium and Poutine to share with one of my table mate's. The poutine (their version) was not what I expected, instead of cheese curds it had melted cheese on top. I would have preferred the curds throughout the dish but it tasted okay. The burger came almost well done but was still tasty and moist. The best part was the service, our server couldn't have been nicer. With the place being so busy, all the servers and bussers were handling the tasks at hand and still responding with a prompt and pleasant manner. I'll be going back to give it another try. More...

Wonderful burger! It tasted really good, the meat were juicy and soft, fulfilled the burger, and I loved it so much that the inner side of bread was treated with butter and was crispy. Love it.

Two of my favorite things about this place: the upstairs patio area and the spiked milkshakes. We were drawn to BRGR by the lights on their patio as we wanted to enjoy one of the last Pittsburgh summer evenings. The environment didn't disappoint. The patio felt homey with a great view. The heat lamps also helped with the incoming chilliness.At the recommendation of our server, I got the BRGR and my partner got the California Lovin' (turkey burger). Both were good but the BRGR definitely won. The star food item of the night for me was the cookie and cream spiked shake. It was delicious. Great place! I've heard good things about BRGR before. A couple of my girl friends & I were downtown for a show. We went here for something to eat before it. The staff was AMAZING! Especially Howard, our waiter. He had us cracking up! All of the staff was fun & really nice. They messed up one part of our order but quickly fixed it. The food was really tasty too. The girls each got specialty burgers & I got a CYOB. Cooked perfectly. The fries were nice & hot, tasty. I'd never had fried pickles before, but now I have. Yummy! Take out experience was great. The food was still beautifully prepared and I was impressed with the high quality and low prices. The only catch is the burgers don't come with fries, the sweet potatoes were $6 but a huge portion and completely shareable. BRGR as a chain is by far my favorite gourmet burger place. The build your own option has the opportunity for everyone to fulfill their cravings and create something delicious. They do have a generous happy hour and a long list of specialty cocktails that all sound delicious. I have found that overall the place is sort of hit or miss. Service is so-so, sometimes great and other times not so much. The same goes for food quality; I have been here many times where my meal had been top notch and exactly what I ordered, and I have been here other times where meats are not cooked properly and sides came out much earlier or later than the main entree.
