Christine and Ava were amazing to work with. We were first-time home owners looking to put our stamp on our new house, but we really had no idea what aesthetic we liked or how much it would cost.
Christine and Ava helped us through each step of the process and the outcome is amazing. We did both the design and project management stages with Breathe and were very happy that we did both.
Everyday we come home appreciating the work and assistance from Christine and Ava.
From the overall aesthetic to the small details, Christine and Ava did a tremendous job. We were not the easiest clients and had a unique layout in our living area, but Christine and Ava created a space that fits us and that we love.

Christine did a phenomenal job helping me furnish and decorate my condo within a fairly tight budget. She spent time with me getting to know my taste and absolutely nailed the final product.
There are so many cookie-cutter designers out there who have a single style that they apply to all clients, and Christine is not one of them. The work she did for me was inventive and edgy and she presented me with ideas and items that I would have never purchased on my own, but somehow they fit so perfectly with the space.
Other than her knack for interior design and creative talent, she was very well organized and professional. She was responsive via email and over the phone and used a single platform for sharing ideas and for the final deliverable.
I've since recommended her to several people, and would absolutely work with her again on future projects. Thanks so much, Christine!

A few years ago, my husband and I downsized into new construction with the belief that when we moved into it we would make it our own.
And in a way it was, but it was still a little bit generic. About a year ago we started working with Christine at Breathe Design, and through three small projects (selecting a rug, design and build of bookshelves, and lighting updates) she has already done more to make this “our” home than I had imagined possible.
I was initially skeptical about working with Christine because I’ve seen her work in her own home (check out the Spring 2017 Austin Home magazine) and it’s gorgeous but more monochromatic than my taste. But she helped us to balance my love of color with thoughtful and original design to showcase our beloved collections without overpowering the smaller space. For each project she has developed a range of options that take into account the things we love, the money we can spend, and local and/or ethical sourcing of materials.
Christine is a great listener, willing to go back to the drawing board to ensure that we’re happy with a project. But she also brings an intelligent and unique sensibility to the process that breaks through my preconceived notions of what is possible. She has helped to rethink our space to create something new that still feels familiar, comfortable, and beautiful in our own home.

The first time I met Christine she could tell by my outfit what type of decor would appeal to me. She is a savvy business woman and makes decisions easily and effectively.
