I was planning a wedding event and didn't have the best idea what I needed to rent. Boston Audio Rentals walked me through the process of renting exactly what I needed. I even received quotes from similar places in the area and their price was among the cheapest.The workers are very responsive, they came and set up the speakers on the wedding day and explained how to operate them (and the mixer), and the broke down the speakers at the end. I was hosting an event and realized my AV equipment was faulty.  I contacted Sunny at Boston Audio Rentals and THEY SAVED THE DAY. I had an hour and a half before guests arrived and was "freaking out" The Boston Audio Rental team was able to travel across the city with the equipment and had it set up with time to spare. They provided equipment for our wedding. Everything worked as promised, and as others have mentioned, they do a good job explaining how to use everything. I had no problems communicating with Kenneth, he was professional to deal with, and worked with me to organize the pick up and drop off of the equipment within special time constraints that we had. Overall, I'm glad I went with their company - not only was the rental a great deal for the cost, but priced better than the other places I contacted. Booked two PA systems for our wedding instead of a DJ (we figured a DJ wouldn't have all the Depeche Mode songs we'd want to hear) through Bob at Boston Audio. He was prompt and courteous in emails, and the price for two PA systems (we needed one for the ceremony and one for the reception) was cheaper than most places quoted us for one PA. On the day of our wedding, like six people from BAR showed up to help set up the equipment. I was off getting pictures taken, but popped in just to see if they had really showed up and saw them working. The staff was super nice, had already introduced themselves to our wedding coordinator, and trained our MC on how to use the mics and the mixer with our laptop. Hell, a staff member even stuck around for the ceremony so they could immediately break down one PA as another event needed the room where our wedding was right afterwards! They showed up exactly when they said they would at the end of the night to take the other PA away. Could not recommend them more. If I could give them one hundred stars, I would. More...

I rented audio equipment (speakers, tripod stands with dress kits, iPod wire, wireless mic with a wired mic for backup) for a small backyard wedding and everything went smoothly. Cold called them for my wedding and reception. Rented 2 large speakers, microphone, and mixer. Pick up was quick and easy, with all the detailed instructions needed for set up. Equipment was easy to set up and packed well. Event was successful, but I hadn't realized we'd be leaving early for our honeymoon and required an early return. They accommodated me on a Sunday. Had an event in Cambridge and needed a PA system. These guys were prompt with my quote request, and based on my event information, they provided an appropriate suggestion for equipment. Aside from the great service, the price was cheaper than all the other companies I heard back from. In case it was not, they offered to beat any competitor's price by 10%. We had our daughter's Sweet 16 this past weekend and I decided to rent light to make the venu look a little more festive. I came across Boston Audio Rentals . We rented 4 wall reflector light to make the room look more pink. I must say service was absolutely amazing. I worked with Sunny the Managing Director and was so helpful made the renting process so smooth. Answered all my questions and every email I sent him in a timely matter. We needed some last minute audio equipment for the finish of the One Run for Boston, a non-stop running relay from L.A. to Boston that covered over 3,000 miles in 23 days. I contacted Sunny through a friend, and he was very gracious and willing to lend us speakers and a mic to use for the finish, which didn't happen until 1 a.m. on a Sunday evening. It was a beautiful, emotional and memorable evening for everyone involved, from victims of the bombings to marathon runners like myself. We were all so appreciative of those who pitched in to make this event a success, and Sunny's help was a great contribution to this monumental event.
