I came here with a large group and they were able to set us and serve us promptly and with such poise. Borrelli's was very helpful with accommodating gluten allergies and other food preferences. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant is set up with mirrors and beautiful art to make it look very elegant and grande. I would definitely come back! More...

I have lived In Levittown for about 16 years and have passed this place thousands of times and even worked not that far away and have never been until recently. I am in love with the chef salad it's amazing and so fresh and they give you enough to share even with the small size. The broccoli bites are also very good although they can be a little greasy. We have also tried the chicken parm and it was very good as well. We will be back to try other items for sure More...

After revisiting a few weeks ago, I am delighted to say that all went well and all offerings were "back to normal." Chalking up the previous visit as just a bad nite for all concerned.  Relief!!

I've driven past so many times & they have been here since the 1950's.  Traditional red sauce Italian restaurant.  Started with a happy hour Chardonnay at the bar, drinks before 6 are $2 off.  We could not decide & shared a 3 tier appetizer sampler the rice balls, meatballs & eggplant rollatini all were delicious.  Shared the pasta platter for 2 with tortellini Alfredo, stuffed shells, and pasta with vodka sauce.  Everything was very good.  We shared the brownie sundae & Oreo ice cream cake for dessert.  All four of us enjoyed sharing the large platters & tasting  many delicious things on the menu, More...

Yes I am of Italian decent so I am not sure if that disqualifies me for some of you or gives me a PHD for knowing Italian cuisine.  If you value quality ingredients and are wanting delicious Italian food at a fair price, then this is your place.  I have enjoyed this fine restaurant for over 30 years and I am confident you will too.  I am really not trying to make my wait time longer by encouraging others to try one of my favorite restaurants, but doing what's right is right.  I see some of the reviews here have not been as favorable as mine and I wonder what mood they were in to start with, as I have never experienced anything like what they were saying.  I'm thinking something else may have been in play with those individuals or it could have been a fluke as I have never had any issues that the waiters/waitresses did not make right immediately.  I can only tell you it is worth trying for yourself.  The Baked Zitti, Chicken Marsala, Cheese Ravioli and the Cheese Lasagna w/Meat Sauce (gravy) are my favorites.  Even the Tuna sandwich (comes hot with pepperoncini's) is amazing.  Buon appetito! Was here for a family function in the back room. The food was very good and was buffet style. My favorites were the chicken parm , sausage and peppers and the house salad which had salami in it. They made me a whiskey sour which was good and the coffee with dessert was also good. Overall the place is solid, as is the Staff. The people working were very nice and accommodating. One of my relatives has a bad dairy allergy and they whipped something up for her really quickly that she enjoyed. Good, solid Italian food, nice staff. Great for a family function or party. More...

I have been meaning to review this place for a while but I never knew where to start. This is a classic Italian place. I love the Chicken Parm and I'll occasionally split a pie. I returned to this restaurant after 36 yrs. While I attended Hofstra in the very early 80s this was the spot my family would eat. My parents and siblings would enjoy the meal after traveling 8 hrs. We stop today after my son accepted his offer to attend Hofstra. Back then I could eat anything now it's only Gluten Free for me. My family I thought would love the Lasagna and Pizza and I would deal. Was I wrong! I had a great dish of GF pasta. The sauce was wonderful (Norcina) and the GF pasta as good as any I have had in Italy. I also treated myself with the Gluten Free pizza as bread. What that you say. Why it's the crust with just EVO, salt and pepper. While everyone had their bread I had my crust! If you are in the area stop by I know I will be for the next 4 years! More...

I had my engagement party here super last minute IT WAS GREAT! I was really upset because the venue that I previously booked, Mio Posto Hicksville, literally decides to closed down a week before my party with no explanation so shady but Frank was extremely accommodating and I felt a relief when he said it wasn't going to be a problem to host our party. The food was delicious and there was sooooo much of it. The place is super cozy and you just feel very comfortable. Staff was amazing. Borrelli's does not disappoint! More...

Pasta for 2 was enough to feed 4 people. Baked clams were delicious. Mozzarella was mixed in with the stuffing and the extra sauce was perfect. Garlic bread was amazing. Really good pizza. Highly recommend you get that, not so much the other food. I went here with my grandfather one time and he order the linguini with white sauce, they accidentally brought him red, he wanted a new order, what he originally ordered, they brought it to the kitchen, ran it under the sink to get rid of the "red". Then plated it to him. Other than that, great pizza. More...

Really nice place, pretty big. Went on a Monday night so the service was a bit slow. Drinks were priced $8-10 /glass which was avg. Pasta dishes were a bit pricey. There was a deal for 4 pasta sampler for two for $27 which was fair. It was a lot of food and really delicious and we couldn't even finish a 4th of it. Took most of it home. More...

My niece and nephew decided to have their baby shower at this restaurant. Traveling a long distance I truly hoped that they had chosen wisely. From the moment we entered this beautiful restaurant you could feel the warmth and the great welcome from each member of the staff. When I stopped one of the servers and explained that although the menu was extensive and really outstanding that I could not eat anything that they offered She immediately without hesitation asked what I could eat. At that moment I realized that BORRELLIS caters to the guests. The first dish was pasta and she made sure mine was plain. The chef Salinas superb. Ordering grilled chicken with no seasoning was my request. But as she served it she realized that it had seasoning and the owner created a special no seasoned dish for me which was fantastic. The chicken had no seasoning but was moist and cooked to perfection. I'm sure the cake and coffee was great . Thank you for making my day special and that of all the guests that attended the baby shower. Fran Lewis just reviews Mj network on blog talk radio Mj magazine More...

So, so SO good! Mmm! I went in with my mom looking for a quick slice since Borrelli's advertises as a pizzeria. You can't order pizza by the slice(like we were looking for). We decided to do the small plain and oh my god. It was so so so good! The crust tasted so homemade. I felt like I was at my Italian grandparents's house. It was so good we ended up getting a personal after we finished the small. We even ended up splitting the Italian Cheesecake. Our server Mark, was excellent. He was extremely friendly. He told us about how long Borrelli's has been around(since before the Meadowbrook) and how they lasted through the Coliseum closing down and how they thought that would put them out of business, but thank GOD it didn't! Oh! How have I lived without Borelli's all my life?! We will have to come back several times to try all of the other delicious things on the menu. There's even karaoke every Friday night from 9pm-12am. More...

It's really exactly 3.5 stars but I gave them 4 as to make sure they don't drop below 3.5. Decent Pizza, a little overrated on the "home field advantage" Barstool pizza review. Looks like a really nice date spot & the prices are reasonable as well. More...

Came here for a happy hour during the week and sat at the bar. We had great service - and the price was good too! I think during happy hour beers were between $4-$7. They have a nice selection of specialty cocktails as well and my friend recommends their martinis (which I have yet to try but she swears by). Looking forward to coming here for a full meal - the prices aren't terrible and they have pre fix options as well. "Borrelli's Italian Restaurant" is not a Pizzeria, they are a Italian Restaurant. Just wanted to make that clear. It is a great dining experience for the entire family. I pulled up to the large parking lot and couldn't believe how colorful the outside of the building looked. It was nice to see such brave choices used to bring a positive vibe. Heading in I was equally impressed. The place was immaculate and big. It was really spacious. I had went to the counter to place my order when I met with the most wonderful woman there. She was friendly and extremely professional. She talked to me as if I was her best friend and it made me feel great. The atmosphere in the place also made me feel comfortable, that and the classic music playing in the background. I saw a gentleman walk in to the place not to order food, but to have a conversation with the owner. Can you believe that. The lady I was talking to told me the rich history of the restaurant. It's been around for 63 years, that longer then I've been alive! She also told me they cater for parties up to one hundred people. Nice for a graduation or surprise party. They also offer karaoke and live music on Thursday's so they offer a excellent time for groups. Only negative was they had a ten dollar spending limit, but I was over the limit so I didn't need cash. They don't do slices. So I got a personal pie and waited patiently for it. But once I smelled what they had cooking I became a little impatient. I wanted to know what this place was about. I soon found out when my boxed pizza came out. It was hot and fresh. I sat down and just took a minute to admire such beauty. It was like looking at a woman for the first time, or the first time you learned how to ride a bike. I mean it was special. When I grabbed the first slice I knew I was in trouble because I understood that this wasn't going to end well for the pie. The relationship ended quickly, but the memory of the taste would last forever. I was sold on that crunchy crust, the juicy chicken and the side of blue cheese they gave me. It was more then I could handle. I even thought about getting ice cream, which they do offer as well. Everything about this place was amazing. The food, atmosphere and staff were excellent. The pain of missing the food was so extreme that I would soon have to take a shot at love again. I'm a sucker for true loves first bite. More...

Found them on grub hub and ordered twice. The food was delicious and the garlic bread was to die for. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the 2 last times we tried to order from grub hub we got a call saying they don't deliver to Westbury (even though they've delivered here twice) we had to contact grub hub and wait for a refund and then order from someplace else which was a pain in the butt and very disappointing. If you don't deliver to Westbury,  please change your delivery radius. More...

A local legend, Borrellis is one of the best restaurants and definitely has the best pizza.  They've been owned and run by the same family since the 50s and make you feel like family. Great food.   The kitchen even agreed to cook us up some extra francaise sauce for what we could not finish to take home.  Value was very good too, and they do promote with generous 20% off weekday coupons.  I will more than likely go back because the food really was standout but I will request from hostess that we do NOT get same waitress/server who was inattentive and lacking.  Service was unacceptably slow despite being one of just three parties at the place for dinner it took the waitress way too long to find us and she was scarce even though we were the only table she had. 4 star rating because I was there once before, the food was great then too and I know service can be respectable-- just guess it depends on server.Went back-Kristen and crew are top notch!  Food great again-I had lasagna.  Music entertainment on Saturday night is possibly a great idea, but the guy was playing way too loud, which resulted in very loud restaurant conversation.  I think he was awful to be honest so maybe they should just shut it down or find someone else. Just had a great pizza experience with Borrelli's.  The pizza that was delivered was just right. Dough was exactly what pizza dough should be and taste like, there was a generous amount of cheese (just the way my wife likes it) and the pizza sauce was delicious (not heavy but not too sweet either). Light and tasty - tasted like fresh tomatoes Borrelli's has been a great neighborhood restaurant restaurant for over 60 years and tonight they demonstrated why that is the case.  Anybody in the East Meadow area who wants a great meal, visit the restaurant or order food or a pizza to bring home or be delivered.  They are an integral part of our community.  We have 'dined in' with the family on many occasions and it has always been good.  They accommodate both small and large groups with ease.Frank Borrelli takes special care to make sure his customers are satisfied.  Tonight's experience  proves that he is interested in happy, satisfied customers. I ate here a few years ago and I remember enjoying it. So I now was going to the Nassau Coliseum to see Barry ( I know ...some of you do not like him but.... ), and it is a good thing I got to the restaurant early as it really filled up with Barry fans ( yes there are lots of them).   The bread was warm and very good. I had chicken Francaise and it was very good. Not overwhelmed by the sauce, the chicken was nicely thin but meaty and plenty of it.  A side of sautéed spinach was also very good. My girlfriend had  a pasta with chicken dish that was excellent. Our waiter Rob was pleasant and helpful from his first welcome ! His service was fast yet was not rushed.  The restaurant is clean and welcoming. Everyone working there had a smile and a nice hello. Nice soft music in the background,, I think Keely Smith and of course some Buble and  Sinatra.  I will def go back on another evening in the future, maybe when a heavy metal band is playing at the Coliseum, or maybe just to eat without a deadline. They were right on with the food amounts. The pizza and salad were hot, delicious and plentiful. The voluneteers were full, fed and happy allowing for a successful event. I've been going to borellis for 30 plus years. It's my family's favorite restaurant. I love the pizza and the veal parmigiana.  Just recently brought my toddler twins there for the first time since they are 2 and they loved it too. And I must comment on one particular waiter named Rob. He went above and beyond to make us all very satisfied. He even gave my kids crayons and paper to help keep them occupied since they are at that stage where they can't sit still.   Out of the the 30 plus years I can't really remember having a bad meal. What a delicious restaurant! They have an amazing offer right now to celebrate their 60th anniversary. For $19.99 you get either a salad or soup of your choice, pasta with any sauce that you would like including vodka sauce and meat sauce for no additional charge, a choice of several different entrees and dessert. While visiting New York, we ate there on two separate occasions. The pasta fazhul and the Italian wedding soup are homemade and delicious. The chicken francese is out of this world. The pizza is amazing! We also love their meat sauce and vodka sauce. They make their own cannolis that are fresh to order. It is a family-owned-and-operated restaurant and you can certainly tell. The people there I care very much about their business and their customers. The staff was very friendly and our waiter, Rob, was so nice and accommodating :) On one of the nights that we went, they had a cornhole tournament going on. They also have an amazing bar and a back room that is used for parties. I would highly recommend this place for a meal and also for a party in their beautiful back room. Delicious pizza!!!! Our big group couldn't decide so we ordered way to many just to be able to try everything! And surprisingly there wasn't many left!!! Buffalo chicken was good, had right amount of heat. The Sicilian was deep dish style with oh so much cheese, but it rated way more then just cheese pizza. The broccoli rabe pizza was strange but amazing!! I never knew I would like broccoli on my pizza but it was perfect, had great flavor! Also got half pepperoni and half bacon! Everything was delicious! My daughter got the kids spaghetti and meatball! Wow the meatball was beyond huge and delicious, every kept stealing bites! It still tasted great cold the next day! Their house side salad was perfect! I loved the dressing had so much flavor! And the gelato was the perfect end! They have rotating flavors. I got the mint which was so good! While I guess the pistachio is the one you the regulars look forward to! Servers wasn't the best. But they brought out dough for my daughter to play with! I had the oreo ice cream cake....definitely recommend me this place. More...

I have to be honest, when choosing an Italian restaurant to dine at Borrelli's has never been my go to choice but I have to compliment them for a doing such a nice job taking care of a small gathering my family had here not too long ago. The minestrone soup served first was incredibly delicious and I was so incredibly impressed with it. They also served two salads to start, Ceaser and Antipasto and both were outstanding. The next course was a pasta dish and the choices were penne with a la vodka sauce or penne with meat sauce. I chose the penne a la vodka and the sauce was quite good, although the pasta was a little too al dente for my liking. The next course was the meal and there were quite a few choices. I chose the Veal Marsala and the veal was tender and there were plenty of mushrooms but the marsala sauce was not as flavorful as I had hoped. I did enjoy it very much but I wish that there were some vegetables served with the protein since the pasta was its own course. For dessert they served a small canoli and some delicious spumoni. The service was really great and the server payed attention to every detail and I am incredibly thankful because she made an incredibly difficult day for us much easier for us. I am incredibly thankful for their kindness and consideration and overall great experience. More...

This is a family run business for over 50 years. Staff is excellent, and if you've been there several times in the past few years, you'll notice the same servers on every visit. I think that says a lot about how well the restaurant is run. Food is good and plentiful. Saturday night is live music night. Be prepared to shout a lot if you sit close to the band. More...

The food was incredible, our waitress was very ditzy which kind of made our experience a little annoying. However like i said the food was incredible! Will definitely be coming back!

This is old-world/old-school Italian food.  I love this neighborhood joint.  The food is always good. Always served hot.  I've never had a bad meal here.  Very casual and kid friendly.  I would not recommend it for a first date, as it's not the quietest or the most romantic.  But, if you want good food, this is your place.  I love the veal parm.  Great cheese, great sauce, and cooked with just the right crisp.  Highly recommended! I come here at least once a month. the food is usually consistently great tasting. borellis is a little pricy. for appetizers, the prices are a rip off- the portions are small. very expensive for 5 shrimp cocktail. however, their meals are expensive but their portions are huge. I always get at least two meals out of it. I highly recommend the grilled chicken parm or the stuffed rigatoni. the service is fast and the bread is delicious. I recommend this place! More...

Hot fresh and delicious... Hot fresh baked and butter. Ordered the mini meatball app as I wanted to try their red sauce and meatballs. The mini meatball app was awesome delicious fresh tasting sauce. I used the fresh bread to mop up the gravy.... For my entree I ordered the carbonara. The cream sauce was awesome good viscosity not too thick just right balance and the razor thin smoked pancetta was perfect. Would recommend for a good italian dinner you won't leave Hungary .. I have been to Borelli's a half of dozen times over the last several years and I have always had a good experience.  It isn't what I would call, "fine dining", but the food is always very good, the portions are always big, and the service is always good.  I look forward to going to Borelli's again soon for some great food and good times. I've been here a number of times and the food has always been very good - never out of this world but never terrible.  The pizza is also very good, the buffalo chicken slices are fantastic.  One appetizer that is absolutely delicious is the broccoli bites!!!  They have Karaoke on Friday and live music on Saturday nights.  The owner Frank is probably one of the nicest people you will meet.  Constantly gives back to the community whenever he can. I was here for a baby shower today, in the semi-private area in the back of the restaurant. The staff was very helpful and the service was fine. We all really liked the salad and my chicken francese was fine. The entrees come out a la carte, which I thought was a bit strange, though they were preceded by a pasta dish. Still, it would've been nice to have pasta with the entree (to sop up the sauce and juices) or maybe just a vegetable. Overall, it was fine and we had a great time. I'd give it a second try. More...

One of my favorite places to go to dinner on the Island. Before a Ranger Islander game it doesn't get any better than a nice plate of Meatball parm with a side of pasta and garlic bread. I've had just about everything on the menu and have never had a complaint. The Meatball parm and the Lasagna are my two favorites. Last time I was there the Lasagna could of been a tad hotter but whatever not the end of the world. The double dough pizza is also a personal favorite of mine. Loaded up with meatball and sausage it hits the spot every time. I always take advantage of the free pizza coupon that I find in the pennysaver whenever I do takeout. 2 double dough pies for $22? Can't beat that. More...

When you want a place to come to with friendly staff and yummy, filling food, this place reigns pretty high. During Hurricane Sandy, they were willing to let me charge my phone, and didn't mind either. Something to be pointed out- the bar area and main dining room do seem a little dated. The newer back room is more modern but it doesn't even out. The food is swell, and I've never been displeased. More...

Fabulous pizza!  Order the cheese pie.  It's so tasty that it doesn't need toppings to jazz it up.  Crust is golden brown and just the right thickness.  Not too much cheese that you can't taste the very good sauce.  As good as you get anywhere in the NYC metro area. More...

Larrado has been making pizza at Borrelli's since the mid 60's. His pizzas are excellent, but without the artistry of Da Faro's. The rest of food is good but not great. However, just had a spicy tomato sauce which was quite good. Service is excellent and the restaurant is very clean. More...

My wife and I live in Freeport that  is loaded with fine restuarants on the waterfront. We however like to treat ourselves to Borrelli's Italian Restaurant for a few reasons. Borrellis has been around like forever. It's a family run restaurant that this 63 year old went to as a teen living in Levittown. It must be doing something right. In very recent years they upgraded and we have taken advantage of the small party room in the back for our Freeport Friends annual Christmas Party. They have good food (our favorite starter is the chopped salad), bread made on premises and really good Italian dinners and sauces at special prices for groups. We like te diversity of choices and the competitive prices.  Te place is also just across from the Nassau County Colosseum making it a good stop before an evening show or right fer an afternoon show with the kids.  Best though is being able to stop in and sit down for fresh pizza pie, pasta and more good food as a romantic couple or a family group. They have a great staff that has always aimed to please us.  I'm now thinking ths must be the oldest restaurant I have occasion to continue going back to. Probably though, their makeover, through the years, is better than mine. Amazing, the Borrellis family keeping their name out there with good food and service. My wife and I recommend them and went with five stars because over the years, they have never missed yet when dining there and because of Hurricae Sandy thy have continued to help people, still without kitchens to be provided with delicious diners delivered home via an ongoing project called Angel  Food Deliveres. Borrellis donations help keep the private program going. Thank you Franky and Beth Borrelli. More...

Had dinner with a friend here last night.  I've read the other reviews and I'm some what surprised at some of the negative comments.  This was not the first time that I have dined at Borrelli's and each time I have been there the food has been consistently outstanding, last night was no exception.  The restaurant was crowded but the friendly staff seated us quickly and took our order right away.  My friend had the chicken parm dinner which he said was outstanding and I ordered the Tuscan Blend salad.  The salad was supreme - field greens with dried cranberries, walnuts and goat cheese tossed in a light raspberry vinagrette dressing.  Both servings were huge and, as always, we had to take the leftovers home.  Prices are more than reasonable.  Friday night is karaoke night and the dj last night was topnotch.  He mingled with the crowd and made everyone feel at home.  The singers were all very good and the bar staff was readily available to refill our drink orders despite the heavy traffic at the bar area.  We could not have had a better night.  If you're in the area, especially on a Friday night then Borrelli's is the place you should be. Great food, good prices! Have been to Long Island 3 times with my daughter for college. Really missed our Boston eats! My husband insisted we try Borelli's- he's originally from Naples Italy so I was iffy? It was really good!  Linguini with clams is now his fav and they have an excellent vodka sauce! It's gonna be a long 4 yrs so we'll definitely be back and have recommended Borelli's to friends who are going to LI for their daughters college tournament! More...

Grew up in this area in the 1970s.  Even then, this was a classic Nassau County institution.Have been here numerous times and have never been disappointed.  Service is consistently outstanding, as it ought to be in a family-owned place.  The pizza is great and platters are decent sized and always good.  The wine list is decent, although not wonderful. The location can't be beat: basically across the street from both the Nassau Coliseum and Eisenhower Park.Overall: one of the most underrated places in Long Island. Took a special lady-friend there for dinner last night. I have never had a bad experience there, so it seemed like a good idea as she was in the mood for Italian (insert joke about my ethnicity and ancestory here).Place was relatively quiet, which is understandable for a Sunday night, a few other families and a few couples scattered around the restaurant. We were promptly seated and got started with the menu. She decided on her goto dish, Penne ala Vodka, and I was torn between my goto dish, chicken parm, or the veal parm. Considering she is a vegetarian, I wanted to stay away from the veal (some people get iffy about it, I'm sure yelp is familiar with those types) but she pushed me to get the veal. She isn't one of "those types"... which is awesome. Before we were even able to finish the bread our meals were brought out. The service was extremely quick, and the food came out piping hot and damn near perfect. The veal was extremely tender, and their marinara sauce is one of the best I've ever had out (obviously family recopies aside). The vodka sauce was also good, a little heavier/thicker than my mother makes it, but still quite good in its own regard.Needless to say the meal was delicious and the evening went swell.Borrelli's, in my opinion, is one of the best Italian places in Nassau County. Parking is large, and reminds me of a car sales lot.  I went here before going to a concert so we wanted to get drinks and food.  Good thing it was my friends birthday so we got a round of drinks free from the young bartender.  Good thing we were looking dolled up that day too!  Service was friendly and nice.  Bathrooms were clean.  Surprisingly packed for a friday afternoon.  Get the personal pizzas, I had the white..pretty good I must say.  No complaints here. I'd definitely go back.Oh and if you're sitting at the end of the bar, make sure you don't trip over that little ramp hump thingy on the floor.  I almost fell in heels. More...

I am a very strong believer in giving second chances. So, being that my plans today were to do some Miniature Golfing with my girls and Borrelli's was directly across the street from the park, I decided to try them again for lunch. Well, I'm happy to write this time around that there were no problems. However, I am going to have say that there definitely is a message on the menu regarding the Bread Basket. I didn't see it on my lunch menu so I boldly asked the waitress "someone told me they saw something on your menu once about having to ask for a bread basket, is there one?" Her reply was "YES, but it's on the dinner menu and baskets are given when only entrees are ordered, not pizza" And with that, she came out with a nice warm bread basket for our table. I played it safe today and ordered the House Salad and Pasta Fagioli for myself, Baked Ziti (be sure to ask for the Ricotta Cheese) and Mozzarella Sticks for my girls. Everything was good. I can't rave about our meal because of what was ordered, I don't think any of these dishes could be made to be extraordinary, but I can say we did had a very nice lunch. Hopefully, if I can convince my husband to try Borrelli's one more time, I would like to go back for dinner again. Otherwise, I may have to go solo. More...
