Visiting from PA, I accidentally left my expensive coat and gloves at the restaurant after indulging in their delicious oysters. We had to leave early the next morning before they opened and were kind enough to take their time to mail my belongings to me! We had a wonderful dinner with friends.  We were seated by the fireplace and it felt so cozy and warm.  The baked stuffed lobster was outstanding.  Stuffed with scallops, more lobster and perfectly cooked. Wow, what a hidden gem! This restaurant was our last stop in Portland and we were left amazed! It was a great way to end a fabulous weekend. First off, they have happy hour from 3-6 everyday! We ordered their 75 cent oysters/shrimp cocktail. The oysters were flavorful and sweet! $5 mussels and calamari were very good as well. The mussel sauce was well prepared as well! We got a glass of house white wine to top it off. The oysters were so fresh and delicious! We even ordered another dozen! The bartender was very attentive and friendly! He could have been one of the best bartenders I've seen in such a long time. The owner of the restaurant was friendly and from a simple conversation with him you could understand his love for the restaurant. We need more restaurant owners in the industry like this! absolutey a great experience. our waitress Maria assisted the table by speaking with the chef and getting a dish ordered for the two wives who had hearts set on one specific dish, beef wellington, offered on the menu but tonight it was not being served. After Maria spoke to the chef he agreed to make the dish for each of them. the food arrived warm and delicious. all four plates were delicious, Fish and chips, seafood nuberg and 2 each beef wellingtons. we are out celebrating a birthday. We had a great time at Boone's eating outside on the dock!  Great service, nice atmosphere and good food all made it a very enjoyable lunch.  The steamers were very good, the lobster roll was well portioned and made and the clam chowder was excellent.  One of my go to places in the area (the Porthole) is next door but from now on I'm adding Boone's to that list!
