These folks know how to make a darn good doughnut. If you're in the mood for something fancier than "the original glazed" and want some good coffee to boot, stop by and try literally anything on the menu. I really needed some caffeine this morning so I had Uber Eats bring me a large espresso drink and 6 donut holes. My coffee arrived hot and the donut holes were fresh and ah-may-zing! Best donuts in Atlanta hands down! The quality of the dough is AMAZING all on it's own, and then you add those toppings. .. What!?!?! Have yet to have a doughnut i dont like, especially the bacon butterscotch and the salted caramel balsamic. The bacon is the best! You have to try the candied cayenne bacon if you stop by! I found this place by chance after roaming the plaza on a beautiful day! The staff were so nice and very helpful. The donuts and bacon were amazinggggg! !! These are without a doubt the best doughnuts in Atlanta! I've spent three years trying to find a properly risen yeasted doughnut, and Bon Glaze DELIVERS. These are light, fluffy, and perfectly proofed. I love all the different flavors too; usually I'm not a fan of filled doughnuts, but the coffee cream doughnut here totally won me over! And the staff couldn't be nicer - last time we went they even threw in a free doughnut in one of the specialty flavors since it was near the end of the day. I'm a professional pastry chef and I've made more doughnuts than I can count, so I'll admit my standards are sometimes unrealistically high - Bon Glaze is the only place in Atlanta that has exceeded my expectations. I am in love with their curb side window! I brought my dog on my donut run and the window made it so easy for me to bring her along. The two men working were very welcoming and made some great suggestions for me. They also gave me a "puppy donut" which of course has any dog owner hooked. As for the donuts, I have the sour cream blueberry and the Nutella. The blue berry was the perfect texture and you can taste the blueberry in a really great way. The Nutella was a lot of donut. Traditional donut lover here so the variable selection was irrelevant. For those seeking glaze and chocolate covered glaze style donuts, there are the vanilla bean variety only.
