Do not use this company, they scam moreMoney out of you, they lie and the customer service is none existent as well as the sales representative which mine was Alex is as about as helpful as a snow flake. My move was from California to Tennessee. I've moved this distance in the past and used another moving company.  Boy I wish I could remember who I used it was a smooth move. Blvd moving however claimed I had more than items than quoted by the amount of 200 cubic feet and that was prior to loading. They made me sign for additional charge or they wouldn't load it. At a time of 1100.00, then of course they can't bring there semi down the street, which we have semis all the time. But the trucker refused so that was an additional fee of 1250.00 which included the additional 200 cubic feet that ended up being none existent because they packed almost all of my belongs in a 26 foot uhaul and the cubic feet in that is 1682. The total cubic feet they were charging me is 2650, I called them out on the additional fee for the supposed 200 cubic feet and they never adjusted my bill. So you are forced to pay or they will hold your items hostage. They are crooks !! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FROM SALES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE ! Awful . The crew that did the actual move was great but Btian in the office did not do a good job. He was less than professional, I began to feel that this was not even a legal company. I gave him a list of what I wanted moved over the phone AND via e-mail. He could not be bothered to update the list. Consequently, the movers would not take everything that I wanted to move and my son had to go back up with a U-Haul to bring the rest of my things to me. The movers that picked up my already packed house were good and took care of the furniture well. Unfortunately BLVD moving decided to shift my belongings to another truck mid way across the country (and did not tell me!) which broke some high ticket times like a china cabinet leg and a dryer. They also reconfigured a electronic reclining couch incorrectly causing more work for me at my new location. This company is best for local moves if your going far look elsewhere. More...

I recently moved with Blvd to the east coast and it was the easiest move I ever had. They packed my tv, pictures and lamps and I was able to save some money by having my own cartons and wrapping materials on hand when they arrived. The men were quick, made a complete list of everything I was moving I purchased the additional insurance just to be safe. Three weeks later everything arrived, no problems, no drama. More...

When it comes to moving, we all know what a huge stress it can be. Questions such as How can I get a reasonable price? Or How do I know that my possessions will be handled with care? come across your mind. With BLVD moving all those stresses were completely relieved. From the moment I called up and spoke with employee Matthew, and heard his reasonable and respectful explanation on how things go, I knew it was going to be a good experience. He assured me that my items will be handled with care for a very reasonable price. And let me say, was that the case! Great move. We were very happy with the service provided by BLVD for our move, from start to finish. We moved from Southern California to the Austin area of Texas. From the initial quote to the final delivery of our furniture to our new house in Texas, everyone we dealt with was very professional. My advise to anyone making a move of this length is to use heavy duty moving boxes. I used a variety of boxes that I bought at Walmart or Home Depot or got free from neighbors. Even though I had very little damage with the boxes that I packed, the heavy duty boxes made the move in much better shape than the others. Another thing to be very aware of is the actual list of items being moved. Make sure to modify your list a few days before the move so that what you say is being moved is exactly what is being moved. This will keep you from having an increase in the price because you have more volume going than was identified on the list. The majority of the poor ratings for this company or others that I checked out were almost always related to a price increase on the day of pickup. We had no issues with any increases because I was very anal regarding the list of items being moved. The crew that loaded the furniture in California and the crew that unloaded in Texas were great. The Customer Service was very helpful when we thought that we had lost a box that luckily turned up in a closet of the old house. I most definitely recommend BLVD if you are looking for a mover. Moved from CA to OH. Had two stops one was my storage that was less than a mile away. I was told it would cost $150. The day of the move they added another $300 for long haul and other charges because the trailer they brought didn't fit. I could have moved my things from my storage to my yard for less if i had known it would be more than $150.They also asked me if i wanted some of my items boxed so it wouldn't get damaged. I paid over 200$ for the boxes and with labor came out to $400. There was an extra charge to unbox them so i didn't ask for them to unbox it. They delivered the items before I arrived to Ohio so my husband received them. When I got here and asked him about the boxes he said they took the boxes. When I contacted their customer service the lady told me it was a curtesy service for them to discard of the boxes. How are you going to take back things I paid for and call it a curtesy service? thats robbery. Either they were never in actual boxes or the boxes are being reused. I found BLVD Moving on Angie's List. I was moving from Las Vegas to  Santa Clarita CA and needed the best experience for a good price. All of the reviews there were glowing, and so I gave it a shot. Hands down, it was the best moving experience I could have had. They were very professional and had a very competitive price. On move day the movers showed up on time, took their time with wrapping up my items and were very pleasant. They even charged me a lesser price than what was on the contract because my things took up less space than the contract specified. When the driver delivered my things in California, he gave a day's notice, called when he was near by and was right on time. I will use BLVD again if I need to (hopefully I stay put here for longer than a year), and I highly recommend! Ask for Bryan.Good luck with your move! More...

Run from this company, seriously. I trusted their hype, a costly mistake. First, Alex, their San Francisco rep, came to my home, viewed everything, and gave me a quote of ~ $5,000 to move my belongings from San Jose to Maine. When the movers came to pick up our packed belongings, they loaded half of our belongings then stated that the contents were taking up more cubic feet than anticipated and doubled their estimate to over $10,000, more than double their original estimate. Alex, who stated he was an experienced estimator was unethical in his original quote. Worse than that was having our belongings delivered today, broken, damaged, so much so that the two delivery workers from Boulevard Movers apologized after each item was taken out of the truck, and told us as they did that, "it gets worse". I have never written a negative review in my life, having a policy of only writing positive experiences. This experience with Boulevard Movers has been so disappointing that I feel compelled to state in writing how bad an experience our trust in them has been. My husbands job transferred to Las Vegas and BLVD showed up to move us what a joke this company is the worst !    We are missing things from our move (misplaced or stolen ) our furniture was broken.  We got an estimate for damages 1,600 dollars we sent them pictures and and they sent us 67 dollars .. When they arrived at our new home they threw everything in the garage and wanted to leave and sign off I said we hired you to move this into the rooms we needed they tried to say we can only do a few things.  Then they wanted a tip we paid 5,700 dollars to move from Los Angeles  Horrible go somewhere else !! We ended up with this company after signing up with Starving Students in California to move our deceased parents' belongings to our place in Oregon. It was a terrible experience. Date promised for delivery wasn't respected. Phone calls were not returned. When delivery did finally happen, some of the goods were damaged. The driver was rude, arrogant, and a bully. He raised his voice to my husband and me when we wanted to check off items on a list as unloaded. He gave us a hard time when we wanted a receipt for money paid. He made light of the fact that my father had just died and laughed it off. He was demanding of a tip for his assistant and tried to embarrass my husband into paying one. We were appalled by his behavior and will never again use this company. The day after delivery I made a verbal complaint to Blvd. I was assured that I would be contacted by Customer Service. Horrinle company to deal with. Took over a month to get our items from CA to SW ID. They damaged almost every single item they touched and refuse to honor the 60 cents per pount damage insurance because they already discounted the move. So because they couldn't get their stuff together and didnt know what they were doing they feel it's ok to not honor a contract and damage several items (some of which are irreplaceable) They claims dept is a joke and they took over a month to do anything. fYI when you call the it says the claims dept is only open for a few hours Tues wed and Thursdays that's a lie. they are there Friday until 6pm pst. we were told they just dont want to deal with people the rest of the time. so why are they even there? There are some really bad reviews in here which is why I thought I'd balance things out.  My experience was fantastic -- and I actually did TWO moves within two weeks!  The first was from old house to new house, and the second was from storage unit to new house.  In regards to the coordination, I mostly dealt with Dawn Frick who was extremely attentive.  Also, both move crews (three different people each time) were all professional and very conscientious.  The pricing was fair and the whole process moved very quickly.  There were some bad things (a scratch on a dresser, and a moving box stolen from the sidewalk of the old house), but neither can be blamed on the company -- it was just bad luck.  And despite those things, I would absolutely use them again the future and I'll recommend them to anyone else! My experience with BLVD Moving company was interesting to say the least. First I want to give credit where the credit is due. The 2 movers that showed up to my home was fantastic.  Their names were Juan and Lupe. They were on time, they were very professional and polite.  No complaints about them at all. They were actually the best part of the whole 30 day across country move experience. Without the the truck driver and the mover making the end of the experience so good I would not be saying one nice word about this company.  So kudos to 2 people in the company that actually knows their job, does their job well and knows how to communicate in an accurate manner. The Dispatch/Customer service team sucked. No one gives out accurate information and you have to call 4x before ANYONE answers the phone. Depending on who answers the phone will depend on how many different answers you will get for the same question.  Poorly trained staff. Now the management team or the lovely sales staff that sells you on how great their company is.  Not sure where they got their poor training skills also. Once you agree to the quote and they get that 10% deposit you will NEVER get help or hear from them again. And if you do their tone of voice let's you know they don't want to be bothered.  Let's just sum the whole experience up like this.  I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.  Not the best! I guess it could have been worse.  I'm just used to dealing with people more on the ball. Better Customer service and follow up experience.  They seem like a ABC company that requires alot more talented people running shit properly... More...

On April 1, 2019, Blvd. Moving moved my furniture from my storage unit to my new place in Cypress, California. David Miranda & Hector (sorry, I didn’t get Hector’s last name) did an excellent job. They were on time and ready to go, they were very careful with my belongings, and there was not a scratch on the furniture nor on the property. When I changed my mind about the placement of the dresser and chest, they were happy to rearranged the furniture. No attitude! They were friendly, professional, and efficient. I've used them twice... the guys showed up on time and did a great job!   The first time, one of the guys couldn't figure out how to fold a king bed platform and forced it closed... which bent the frame.  He first tried to say he didn't do it, and then when it was obvious he did, he tried to say it would "straighten out," which of course, it never will.  Now have I have an extremely loud creaky bed and the cost to repair/replace the damage done by the mover is around $1300, which I don't have.  So that was a huge rip off with no recourse.  The second time I used them they were fast and professional and everything was perfect. I originally booked this company and put down a deposit for a cross-country move from San Francisco to New York, but ended up cancelling a week later.  I couldn't shake the feeling that this company was somewhat fraudulent, as they made me sign a blind contract - something that many other movers do not do throughout their contracting process.  Upon cancelling, the account manager, who was very nice and present throughout the pre-sale process, confirmed that their accounting team would confirm the refund of my deposit immediately.  After numerous follow-ups, I was told that I'd be refunded "tomorrow," but it never happened and I never heard from anyone on their accounting team.  I ended up challenging the charge directly with my credit card.While this was a small frustration, I couldn't shake the feeling that by working with this company I'd be opening the door up to drama and potential malfeasance.  I'm glad I didn't end up using this company for my move - there are plenty other higher rated and higher recommended movers out there. We recently moved from California to South Carolina. When we contacted Budget for a quote I was happy with how reasonable the pricing was. I was unaware at the time that Budget was a broker and would never have booked with a broker had I known. BLVD ended up being our movers. When the movers picked up our stuff, Walter was very confusing because we had originally been quoted for a weight based move and he changed it to a space based move. We ended up having more stuff than originally quoted so it cost us more money. Then he forgot to add in the shuttle from the apartment on both ends and they wanted to charge me more. The office staff waved that cost for us thankfully as we were already paying almost $1000 more than originally thought. Frank is in charge of long distance moves and needless to say I'm not his biggest fan. It felt like he was lying to us on various occasions. Dave eventually contacted me and was very helpful. He made things right and was willing to do what he could to help us make the experience better. The delivery guys were great! Rolando and Jose delivered our stuff. They were very friendly and moved our stuff in quickly despite not having been given great direction from their management about us needing a shuttle. If it wasn't for them and Dave this would have been a 1 star review. Ultimately it took almost the entire 21 business days to get our stuff. More...

Let's begin by saying that picking any mover through reviews is terrifying. And if you think any mover is going to get you your belongings quickly and safely, you're sadly going to be disappointed. Every company had terrible reviews, especially for long distance hauls. I was moving form Oakland, CA to Caribou, ME and the end I simply choose BLVD due to the fact that Alex came out and took an inventory of what was being shipped and I liked the quote. I realize I had literally thrown my hands in the air and left things to fate but I was willing to live with that choice.The short answer of how the move went was this. The company arrived when they said they would for the pick up and two guys were polite, attentive and got the job done. I placed only three calls to dispatch after my shipment had been picked up. The calls were each answered promptly and politely and the third required a call back which I received in a timely manner. Finally my shipment arrived within the contract specified timeframe with no damages or losses. (Not counting the two bottles of hot sauce that froze and ruptured within the freezer bags I had placed them in.) All considered, this seems like a very successful and stressless move. Just face it, the farther you move the longer you will be without your stuff. I can't imagine any other company could promise anything more than BLVD provided for my move.If there is one thing I didn't like. I was told, on more than one occasion, that they guaranteed a 23 business day turn around on the shipment but if you read the contract it states **and I quote** "Any oral promises made regarding delivery or pick up dates dates and times are mere estimates. We guarantee delivery to take place within 30 business day of the first available for delivery." And they they throw in all the expected weather delays and such. More...

An associate from the company contacted me shortly after I complained. I discussed with him regarding what went wrong and how to correct it. It seems that it was a mistake on the part of the "surveyor" Alex and the company wanted to make amends. They offered the service at the originally offered price. When the movers came in, they were fast and thorough. Everything was packaged as if it was being preserved. We did opt for more packaging on the marble inlay tables and bedroom set as we were shown how they'd be packaged in the truck and felt that the movers had a better idea of what needed to be done than the surveyor. They showed up a day late for the drop off, but it wasn't entirely in their control. They put all the furniture exactly where we wanted it, assembled and ready to go. They did leave all the packaging materials for us to recycle, which I don't have any problems with. More...

I had a great experience using BLVD Moving. I contracted them through Starving Students, and BLVD Moving called several days in advance of the move to finalize details. We were given an fairly large arrival window (as usual with moving companies), but was very surprised when they called before the agreed on arrival time and told me there were close by. I actually had to scramble to get from my new place to my old place to meet them and get the rest of our stuff boxed up. The movers weren't phased by this at all, and even helped to pack up the stuff that we hadn't gotten to. They were very helpful, and were done within a couple of hours. Adam was great.  He gave us a total quote, and promised there would be no up charges at the end of the 2600 mike cross-country move.  He kept his word, we were worried about all of the fragile collectibles and antique music boxes I packed.  I hoped they would be taken well care if, but I worried until they arrived.  I was so pleased that everything arrived in perfect shape, nothing was broken it scratched at all.  The driver called and kept in touch for the last three days, so I would know when to expect him. We moved form California to Pennsylvania in July 2018, unbelievingly they moved my stuff within seven days it's amazing, They kept me posted over phone about the truck movement (periodic updates like once every 2 days), so that I could plan accordingly at the destination.BLVD Moving is a great company, their customer service is great and the pricing is competitive (they do what they say.. service as well as the charges).Here is some thing I want to share really important.One of my TV was misplaced and some of my furniture was damaged during the move.I called BLVD moving and they have bought me a brand new TV of the same model (Yay!!), and they have paid repair costs for my damaged furniture (needs little paper work though, but is worth).I will count on BLVD moving for all my future moves and also recommend to friends.It would have been really helpful a lot, if they could move my car as well. Unfortunately I didn't use BLVD for the actual move because I needed door-to-door.  However I found the company; especially Alex to be EXTREMELY credible, honest and easy to work with.  BLVD was the ONLY company that actually came and did a visual inspection of the work to provide a quote.  This alone made me feel better than the "trust me" quotes and conversations I had over the phone.  I gave my credit card for the $100 deposit and that was promptly returned when my plans changed.  I highly recommend this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYI just completed a cross country move using BLVD and it has been the worst moving experience I have ever had...I moved from San Francisco Bay area to the east coast below is a breakdown of how the process went for me and where it took a turn.In Home Estimate - this was really great, Alex came out to walk through my apartment and write up an estimate for the total cost of moving. He assured me that this was the best process as it insures the price doesn't change on delivery. He even explained that companies that operate as moving brokerages are the ones that change the price on you once your items arrive. I believed him and gave my deposit to book my move.The PickupWent smoothly, i did notice some flakes of wood around my apartment that gave me an indication that the guys moving my stuff were not being careful with my furniture, disappointing but nothing to be overly concerned about.The deliveryThe guys delivering my things called me when they were about 3 hours away. I had no 24 hour heads up as i had been lead to believe and was unable to meet them that day to receive my items. Immediately upon my first interaction with them they started haggling the expense of delivering my items. The driver told me he had a 53 foot truck and would not be able to deliver them to my apartment (sight unseen mind you) and would need to use a shuttle service that would cost $530 extra dollars minimum. I told him that my apartment complex confirmed that a truck this size would have no problem delivering my items as other residents had done the same. He then came back and said he was towing another trailer and his total size was now 72 foot. Changing his story from the first time. He went on to argue with me over the delivery and told me it would be even more expensive if they had to come out and couldn't deliver and then had to use a shuttle service. I felt as if i had no choice but to do what he was demanding since at this point I am hostage to them because they have all my belongings. He will not let me pay for these extra fees any other way except cash, i could not use a credit card or money order or check only cash with no receipt. I feel extremely taken advantage of - the mover I dealt with considers himself a smooth talker, he has a million canned responses and techniques to milk as much as he can from you. They put my sectional over my rug with my rug folded up underneath it - i live alone and can't move my sectional to fix this. The real kicker though was that they showed up without any tools, yup - NO TOOLS. What moving company delivers you furniture with no tools to put it back together !?!?!?!  So, they couldn't put my bed together, they couldn't put my dining room table together they refused to even take the wrapping off my broken buffet bc 'there was nothing they could do'. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYI just completed a cross country move using BLVD and it has been the worst moving experience I have ever had...I moved from San Francisco Bay area to the east coast below is a breakdown of how the process went for me and where it took a turn.In Home Estimate - this was really great, Alex came out to walk through my apartment and write up an estimate for the total cost of moving. He assured me that this was the best process as it insures the price doesn't change on delivery. He even explained that companies that operate as moving brokerages are the ones that change the price on you once your items arrive. I believed him and gave my deposit to book my move.The PickupWent smoothly, i did notice some flakes of wood around my apartment that gave me an indication that the guys moving my stuff were not being careful with my furniture, disappointing but nothing to be overly concerned about.The deliveryThe guys delivering my things called me when they were about 3 hours away. I had no 24 hour heads up as i had been lead to believe and was unable to meet them that day to receive my items. Immediately upon my first interaction with them they started haggling the expense of delivering my items. The driver told me he had a 53 foot truck and would not be able to deliver them to my apartment (sight unseen mind you) and would need to use a shuttle service that would cost $530 extra dollars minimum. I told him that my apartment complex confirmed that a truck this size would have no problem delivering my items as other residents had done the same. He then came back and said he was towing another trailer and his total size was now 72 foot. Changing his story from the first time. He went on to argue with me over the delivery and told me it would be even more expensive if they had to come out and couldn't deliver and then had to use a shuttle service. I felt as if i had no choice but to do what he was demanding since at this point I am hostage to them because they have all my belongings. He will not let me pay for these extra fees any other way except cash, i could not use a credit card or money order or check only cash with no receipt. I feel extremely taken advantage of - the mover I dealt with considers himself a smooth talker, he has a million canned responses and techniques to milk as much as he can from you. An absolute disgrace of a moving company. Do not give them a cent of your money. I do not normally give reviews on websites, but my experience was so reprehensible that I have to warn anyone considering using this company. They appear to be nice during the sales and pickup process, but once your items are in their hands and they have half of the money, they do not care about you and will essentially hold your items hostage. Particularly, their dispatch, delivery drivers, and customer service reps will never respond to you. I can't even begin to name everything that went wrong with this move. I feel could write a novel about this experience. Instead, I'm going to just list everything that went wrong in concise bullet points so that you get the picture.After my pickup, there was ZERO communication from them. No emails, no calls, nothing.I called dispatch 10 days after my pickup, and they said my items were already delivered. I told them this had to be a mistake as I clearly did not have my items yet.Dispatch is completely useless and gives me the phone number of a driver who picks up the phone one out of ten calls.=====THIS SECTION IS ABOUT FALSE COMMUNICATION. THEY GAVE ME DELIVERY WINDOWS THREE TIMES AND FAILED ALL THREE TIMESI finally get a call from the driver on Friday saying that my items will be delivered Saturday between 9am-11am.I'm waiting in an empty apartment for 3 hours and nobody shows up. I call them multiple times, and they finally pick up the phone around 10:45 am and say their truck is having issues.I continuously call the driver for an update, and he finally gives me a text message at 5:25 pm saying that the truck mechanics are saying it'll take an hourAt 7:25 pm they told me that it would be best to deliver tomorrow at 8 amNEXT DAY:Nobody shows up at 8 am. I call the driver, he says he is just getting the keys and will be here in roughly 40 minutes.9:45 am. Still, nobody has arrived. I call the driver and he says his truck is blocked in or something. At this point, I am under the suspicion that the driver is playing games with me and I call him out on this nonsense. The driver yells at me and hangs up the phone on me (absolutely unacceptable).I told them multiple times to alert me when they are getting close. They finally arrive at 12:00 pm noon exactly. There was no courtesy call that they were even on their way, and I had no idea if they were even going to arrive at this point after all the shenanigans. I was staying a couple of miles away and was literally about to go to lunch with a friend, and they call me that they're here.END OF DELIVERY COMMUNICATION SECTION. BEGINNING OF DELIVERY CATASTROPHES.=====They charged me $389 after tax and cc fee for a shuttle service because they said my apartment parking lot was too small, even though I'm in Texas and I am more than certain they could of fit the truck with a slight bit of effort.They asked ME to drive them TO AND BACK from the Uhaul store to get rent a U-Haul right after they charged me over 300 bucks.They destroyed one of my shelves, and they didn't even tell me about it until I asked about it. Luckily, it wasn't an expensive shelf, but if I didn't ask, they would have never said a word about it.They didn't even bring tools down with the shuttle, so they had to walk all the way back to their truck to get tools.They refused to assemble these simple shelves, even though they disassembled them during pickup.They assembled my two simple Ikea tables incorrectly, and they gave me attitude when I corrected them.I  left my apartment briefly (to get them some water), and then I come back and they're already ready to leave. I get to my room, and the table legs are assembled correctly this time but are missing screws. I know they had all the screws because when they first assembled the legs wrong, they had all the screws.Get this. I kid you not. I FOUND THE MISSING SCREWS IN MY FREEZER AND GARBAGE DISPOSAL. I had to get my apartment maintenance to retrieve the screws in my sink. There is no way they ended up there by accident. These are the exact screws that fit in the table legs. You don't find Ikea metric screws just laying around in your freezer and sink GD. This was a deliberate act by them when I let my guard down by leaving the apartment.They left plastic wrap garbage everywhere and a giant mattress box outside my apartment without taking it to the dumpster.They left a large picture box that was someone else's shipment. Now I have this large box sitting in my apartment, and somebody elsewhere is missing potentially priceless photos/paintings. I'm going to do my best to get in touch with the owner of this picture box. =====That's about twenty different mistakes they made in this move. You be the judge yourself. Absolutely disgraceful. I am attempting to get some sort of fair compensation for this experience, but as of now have been virtually ignored by this company. More...

Recently used this company for a long distance move from California to Alabama. The sales the apartment was very helpful in professional from day one as this move took a long time to do because of my particular situation. A mover is who picked up everything in California were great. They packed everything with extreme care which was really important because I had a few antiques.I admit there was a problem upon drop of of the furniture but it was handled by the original sales office in management in a professional manner. I would recommend this company for your long distance moves.The salesperson Jennifer was great she even contacted me at night and weekends. First, the sales rep did a tremendously terrible job at estimating how much space would be required. Which, in turn, increased our bill from $1450 to $2250. But once the move is done, there's nothing you can do and customer service doesn't care to make you a happy customer. Which is obviously why I will never use them again. Second, from pickup to drop off, it took them more than 1 month. Absolutely absurd it would take this long. They were late on their promised deliver-by date by 5 days. Third, this company is communication hell. The left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing. Sales, dispatch, customer service, no one talks with each other. Transferred from one person to the next and have to explain everything all over again. Each time. Was promised call after call and they continued to miss making those calls. I had to follow-up each time to get a hold of someone. Lastly, they promised on the delivery date, "we'll be there between 2-5pm" I said great. They didn't show up until 8:30pm after our kids had gone to sleep. I had to constantly ask for an updated ETA and never got a call back, only text messages. The only good thing I have to say is that, at first, the sales rep was helpful in explaining some things to me. It went downhill from there and I'm so disappointed that I went with them in the first place. Do NOT give them a PENNY of your hard earned money. Once they have your money and your stuff, they don't care if they're late or hold up any of their promises to you. They didn't show up until 8:30pm after our kids had gone to sleep. I had to constantly ask for an updated ETA and never got a call back, only text messages.The only good thing I have to say is that, at first, the sales rep was helpful in explaining some things to me. ***AVOID**** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYI've used many moving companies in my lifetime and this is by far, the worst company I've ever hired.First, the sales rep did a tremendously terrible job at estimating how much space would be required. Which, in turn, increased our bill from $1450 to $2250. But once the move is done, there's nothing you can do and customer service doesn't care to make you a happy customer. Which is obviously why I will never use them again.Second, from pickup to drop off, it took them more than 1 month. Absolutely absurd it would take this long. They were late on their promised deliver-by date by 5 days.Third, this company is communication hell. The left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing. Sales, dispatch, customer service, no one talks with each other. Transferred from one person to the next and have to explain everything all over again. Each time. Was promised call after call and they continued to miss making those calls. I had to follow-up each time to get a hold of someone.Lastly, they promised on the delivery date, "we'll be there between 2-5pm" I said great. They didn't show up until 8:30pm after our kids had gone to sleep. Best experience ever! Highly recommended! Moved from Ca to NJ! I was apprehensive about booking another mover as the move to California from another carrier was a nightmare with damaged furniture and hidden costs at delivery. Julie and Jennifer in office made this such a pleasant experience! Was thrilled and delighted with BLVD movers! From walk through estimate and booking with Sebastian to packing to sealing boxes packing up furniture with super wonderful Marcos and David in Ca, They were very helpful with unwanted furniture as well I received updates when the furniture left and updates during the time I was waiting up to the arrival time from Joel who delivered all the boxes with another man On the New Jersey end everything was delivered undamaged! They have an itemized list & they went over every box and checked off each from the the list as unpacked They realized my wrapped pictures in frame was a missing  box. They left to check the truck and I received a phone call later that they located the missing box still on the truck! The man came back with missing box later on in the day! They were 2 days late picking up my things. Then, I was told my things would be arriving last week, and I called the morning of the day that I was told delivery would be. There was no answer, so I left a message. Later when I called back (since they hadn't returned my call), they said they would have to contact dispatch and call me back. They never called me back. This happened for 3 days straight. When I finally got an answer I was told my items were at their warehouse and there was no ETA (even though they had told me the ETA was last week). When I called them this morning (as is becoming routine), they sounded proud to give me the good news that they would be able to give me an ETA within the next day or 2 More...

DO NOT HIRE BLVD MOVING UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE WITHOUT YOUR BELONGINGS FOR A MONTH. I hired BLVD movers for my first cross-country move for me and my little girl from San diego to NY. They packed my things very quickly, but it's now the start of 3 weeks and they haven't even shipped my things out to NY!!! I call all the time for an ETA and all they say is they are waiting for a truck to come to their warehouse so they can load my things. He wont tell me any kind of estimate...not 2 days, 4 days...nothing! I have been without my personal belongings for 2 weeks now and he says at most can be another 2 weeks! If I knew it was going to be a month without my belongings I would have a test prepared. The sales guy told me they have padding for delivery time which I understand, so the contract says 21 days. But he also told me average time is about 2 weeks. So that's what I prepared for. We have no family out here and I'm a single mom. My daughter has started school and I have a new job but we are living out of suitcases and sleeping on an air mattress, which is taking a toll on my back now after 2 weeks. Every time I call I get a brush off too which is really the worst. I would appreciate at least an ETA but all he says is he cant say. Really? You guys supposedly own your own trucks and are so organized but you have no idea when your driver is due back at your warehouse?!?!?! Oh! And he keeps reminding me that the 21 days are BUSINESS DAYS! So your drivers dont drive on weekends or holidays? So if he's on the road on Thursday he's gonna pull over when the weekend comes?! It's just crap and excuses and I wish I never ever hired them. I believed the other reviews I saw of their great service, and of course they were great until my stuff is all loaded and they jack up the cost of the packing by $700. Yes, I also received an in-home estimate where he walked through every room and he completely screwed up and misjudged the packing boxes. I can understand 100 bucks and he even told me that, but 700?!! What's the point of an in-home estimate that's supposedly 98% accurate if it's totally wrong?! Again...I just need to know things up front rather than being sold or flat out lied to. I'm still waiting for my things. They're still sitting in their warehouse in LA. Not shipped yet. No ETA. No sympathy or help from them. DONT HIRE BLVD MOVING. More...

BLVD moving is a JOKE!!! The most unprofessional and disrespectful moving company I have ever had to deal with. On day two of the 2 day window that they gave us to pick up our stuff (seriously, a two day window?) they called me at about 4pm letting me know they wouldn't be able to pick up our stuff for another 1-2 weeks when we had already explained the previous six weeks our move out date from our apartment....REALLY!? This was after multiple calls placed trying to see where the drivers were and being reassured that they would be at our location. I was given the run around and thank god I just ended up cancelling the move and doing it myself in a uhaul because it probably would've sat at their warehouse for another two months. BLVD is an absolute joke that shows no regard for their customers and will try to milk every last cent from the customer. Highly recommend that you NEVER use this company. I would like to thank all of the workers at BLVD moving for a wonderful moving experience. I had to move down from my parents home in the bay down to my new apartment in LA before school started. Alex the estimator stopped by my parents home and gave me a free quote and he was a great personality and I knew I could trust him. After a few quotes from other companies, I decided to go with BLVD and it was the best decision I could have made. The movers were so professional and kind and I could tell they wanted to protect my items. Everything arrived in time and in perfect condition before the school year started, making the transition to my new apartment stress free. Thanks once again also to Jennifer and Teresa for keeping me well updated on the status of my shipment. Worst moving company ever!!! Their quotes are inaccurate and after they pack your belongings they end up charging you thousands more! Matthew Brody is the worst for customer service and can not be trusted!!! Please do not use this company!!! Blvd does not follow through. They came to my house to unload all of my belongs and picked up workers off the street!!! The police had to be called because the driver wouldn’t pay the workers what they were promised. Great first impression on the neighbors! To top it off they had no clue how to unload! They were dragging boxes across the hardwood floors while BLVD’s own driver sat in the front of the truck smoking! We had to help unload! All of our stuff was crammed into the truck many boxes were crushed! Our king size bed was folded in half and water leaked onto the mattress!! After unloading they didn’t reassemble our furniture that they had taken apart even though we PAID for a full service move! Please please do NOT use this company!!! What a horrible experience. We used Blvd Moving to move some bedroom furniture from our house to my daughters new apartment across country. We prepaid for the move. We were told it would be delivered within a time frame of 3-21 days. They guys that picked up the furniture from our house were great. Very professional, and nice to work with. I would call dispatch once or twice a week to try to get an update. Sometimes had a hard time getting a call back, but the people were always nice when I did speak with them. The problems started with the timing, and continued with the truck driver and his helper. They held onto our furniture for a month before shipping! So needless to say, the furniture was not delivered within the time window promised. The delivery was to my 23 year old daughter - who was alone in her apartment at the time. 1st the driver calls her to tell her that he can't get the truck on her street - and does she have a pick-up truck she can bring to him. There had been an 18 wheeler on her street just the week prior, so it would fit. Either way, she is on the corner of a larger street where there would be no issue, so she instructed him to go to that street. He then said she would have to help him move the stuff in, and that the balance due was $400. And if she did not help, he would leave. Keep in mind, we prepaid for the move - so there was no balance due. She told him that it was prepaid, and that they were supposed to move everything in. At that point she was told that she had to go out and stay by the truck because they could not leave it unattended....basically let two strange men into her apartment alone....or help move the furniture in....or they were going to leave and not deliver her furniture. She was feeling very intimidated by this point, and afraid for her safety, and that she would not get her furniture, so she went and stayed by the truck. There was even a point where the drivers helper, who did not speak very good English, was insisting that my daughter give him her phone number so he could call her all the time and she could "help him learn English". Wth?To finish off the day, the driver had my daughter sign for the delivery....and then turned away....wrote on the paper....and gave her a copy saying she owed $250!!!......that was NOT on the paper when my daughter signed. She did not pay anything but insisted they leave. My husband contacted Blvd immediately. They assured him that the owner of the company would call him back, and that the matter would be addressed. After a couple of further attempts at contacting them, we still have not heard anything back.We are now considering pursuing other legal options. More...

The delivery was to my 23 year old daughter - who was alone in her apartment at the time. 1st the driver calls her to tell her that he can't get the truck on her street - and does she have a pick-up truck she can bring to him. There had been an 18 wheeler on her street just the week prior, so it would fit. Either way, she is on the corner of a larger street where there would be no issue, so she instructed him to go to that street. He then said she would have to help him move the stuff in, and that the balance due was $400. And if she did not help, he would leave. Keep in mind, we prepaid for the move - so there was no balance due. She told him that it was prepaid, and that they were supposed to move everything in. At that point she was told that she had to go out and stay by the truck because they could not leave it unattended....basically let two strange men into her apartment alone....or help move the furniture in....or they were going to leave and not deliver her furniture. She was feeling very intimidated by this point, and afraid for her safety, and that she would not get her furniture, so she went and stayed by the truck. There was even a point where the drivers helper, who did not speak very good English, was insisting that my daughter give him her phone number so he could call her all the time and she could "help him learn English". Wth?To finish off the day, the driver had my daughter sign for the delivery....and then turned away....wrote on the paper....and gave her a copy saying she owed $250!!!......that was NOT on the paper when my daughter signed. She did not pay anything but insisted they leave. My husband contacted Blvd immediately. They assured him that the owner of the company would call him back, and that the matter would be addressed. After a couple of further attempts at contacting them, we still have not heard anything back.We are now considering pursuing other legal options. More...

In April I moved to NY from CA and I hired Blvd moving . They are very professional and they do care about the customers. I ran in to little complications and Jennifer who is a manager at BLVD moving resolved my issues and worked under stress and pressure along with my complaints. Jennifer was patient and also professional with me. If it wasn't for Jennifer from the beginning I wouldn't know what to do. I went with Blvd moving because of Jennifer in the first place. Jennifer is the best at Blvd moving and in my personal opinion, she should be in charge of customer service. Joel and Chris helped me with my move on premise and ROCKED IT! I hadn't been to the property in question in years and didn't know what we were walking into, but they rolled with the punches and helped me out in what otherwise could have been a scary situation for myself and my girl friend who was helping. They helped me box miscellaneous items that we hadn't known about and the packing materials cost extra but were really reasonably priced (usually there's a huge mark up!). They even helped me with my mom's big jewelry box and fitting it JUST RIGHT in my car! There was only 1 piece of furniture I couldn't move by myself, and that was the reason I hired them. 5 pieces of furniture took (2) men 6 hours to move down the street less than .5 miles. The one piece of furniture I needed help with took them 1.5 hours to disassemble, and there were 30-minute time periods where they did NO work. They took 45 minutes to take a 5X5 dresser down 2 flights of stairs. My $270 quoted fee turned out to be $600. If I could give zero stars I would. At first everything seemed great. I had them move everything except my TVs which I left on the walls till the move was done. Well they hit my new 65" Samsung while moving a bookcase and cracked the screen. After following all their procedures they said that the mover remembers the tv on the floor. My experience with this company has been a like a nightmare. The company failed to reassemble my furniture. After many attempts to resolve this issue with Blvd Moving, I had to pay out of my pocket for a handy man to reassemble the furniture. They also left a box that belonged to another customer in my home. I have made 4 requests for the box to be removed from my home and as of today, the box has not been removed! This was the worst experience ever!! It started off good and they talk a good game but in the end at delivery of my stuff everything was all lies. They said they would pack up my electronics and and put everything back together at my new home but that was a lie. After a terrible wait to receive my furniture after they stored it for 2 months, they just decided they were done and left. They said they aren’t allowed to unpack the things they packed up and took apart. They lost the power cord to my tv and broke my lamp base and just shrugged it off and told me I could file a claim. They transported my washer upside down!! And now I have to replace it. They had my fridge in it’s side and they took the handles off of it and we’re shocked when I asked them if they were going to put them back on! Once they were on the way, the driver called and said they were 400 miles out and they would be here the next morning... didn’t show up. It’s just been an unbelievable experience. After receiving the required deposit, I didn't hear back from the company. I called the day prior to scheduled pick-up, and was told that it wasn't a guaranteed date and they wouldn't arrive for several days. After several heated discussions, I was told they would be there on the scheduled day. Later that night, I received a call informing me that a "mechanical problem" would delay the pickup. I was told that a crew of 4-5 people would arrive to pack and load the truck. It took the 2 guys that arrived 3 days to do the job, beginning 3 days after promised. Communication is horrible, scheduling is a joke, and customer service is non-existent. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. When I called I spoke with Julie who stated she would give my a quote through the phone l made it very clear that I needed her to over estimate the price due to my moving budget so I was very specific in saying, " when I say chair please put x-large chair, couch put an x-large couch, I know that these companies charge by he sq ft so that is why I wanted an estimate that might of been on the pricier end so I knew what to expect.. I got an estimate from Julie saying my move would be estimated at $2,100 and compared to the other companies where I got a quote it actually was one of the cheaper ones. ( FYI never ever trust their estimate this is a ploy to get you to use them and when u are in too deep will charge the real price). Julie was very nice initially on the phone and told me that my moving day would be 12/15/2017, I was very excited about moving from sacramento California to San Antonio Texas for school. Oh ya that is the other thing I told Julie where I was moving and that estimate including the taking apart of big furniture, wrapping, the distance to move and also on arrival the reassembling my large furniture ( I will get back to that mess later). It was the day before My moving day and I hadn't heard from anyone at the company so I called Boulevard moving and spoke to Julie just to verify that they were going to be there on the 15th let's just say they didn't come until the 16th. When the company actually came on the 16th and started moving all of my stuff they said I had way more stuff than what was quoted mind you I said on the phone to overestimate everything I had. The final price at this point was now at $ 2500 ( initial quote was $2100) I was annoyed with the extra $$ but needed to move on. I checked back in with the company on 24 December because I hadn't heard anything and I was anxious to get my stuff. I was told that my stuff was still in the warehouse and not sure when they would start the truck to San Antonio at this point I was very irritated to say the least because I was living off of blew up bed but understood it took a little time. I followed up for second time since no call from the company around January 10 and which I was told my stuff still had not left the warehouse and at this point I was getting anxious if I was ever going to receive my stuff and was just having to live in my apartment with the stuff I brought in my car. At this point I was fuming mad and asked to speak to someone in management and which I did not have that conversation with the dispatch person told me that they would keep me informed after me pleading with them to do so. Now let's get to delivery dayMy stuff finally arrived on January 12 almost a month from pick up day and this is where the BS started. I got a call from the dispatcher who was driving the big rig who said he could not make it into the front gate of my apartment complex so I went out front of the apartment complex in which he told me he would have to charge me another $500 for my stuff to be transferred from the big rig to a shuttle. The driver also notified me that my " final " price was $2700 ( in my mind I am confused because how do I go from the movers who picked up my stuff telling me after it is in the truck my new total is $2500 and miraculously during tom he move $200 was now added on). After speaking with my apartment complex I was informed that there was another gate on the bottom of the hill which I lived so the big rig driver drove around in which he stated again he's not able to make it into the gate ( he did not even attempt) and said that unfortunately they are going to have to bring my stuff up the hill and  they charge $75-$100 per every 7 stairs. Mind you I live at the top of the hill and should not have been charged anything due to lack of experience from the big rig driver. If you think on delivery you are getting workers from Boulevard moving company you are mistaken because I found out that the big rig driver had looked on craigslist just prior to getting to my apartment and hired three people off of craigslist to help move my personal belongings up the hill. This made me uneasy because I don't know these people and if something happened to my stuff they are not held accountable, I told them I do not feel comfortable with three people off of craigslist moving my stuff up 40 to 50 stairs but there was nothing I could do. It was at this point that I had never seen the boulevard company driver anymore and the only people I had dealings with were the three strangers hired off of craigslist mind you part of the contract was dropping your stuff off and reassembling the furniture if needed let me tell you this did not happen and I was charged an extra $500 due to the fact that there we're now having to carry my stuff up the stairs when I lived on top of the hill let me just end by saying my final bill was $3200 when my initial estimate was $2100.. 1) Kelly in sales misquoted me by 100%. With only a brief conversation on the phone, she quoted me a price and it wasn't even itemized on her part so we didn't know how she made the quote. When the movers showed up they immediately knew that she had completely low-balled my estimate, and after they had packed up my things I owed twice as much as the quote. After talking to the movers/truck drivers this mis-quoting seems to happen VERY often and they feel very stretched out, stressed, and rushed because of this.2) I moved from SF to Portland, and they said it would be 2-4 days when I was quoted and reiterated that time frame when the movers took off with my things. It took them 18 days. I would call them every other day for an update and every time they would lie to me where my things were and when they would show up. At one point they said their computers were broken and there was no way they could let me know where my things were. Another example, I called day 8, they said my things had left the warehouse and they were on the way to Oregon. Day 9 I called and they said my things had not left the warehouse and they were going to make plans for them in the morning. It wasn't an issue of them taking a while, I signed a contract that said it would get to OR w/in 30 days, but it was the fact that their dispatchers and their sales team lie about where your things are. Later on, I realized that one of the movers were suppose to pick up my load and they forgot. They just forgot it at the warehouse and continued up to Portland without my things. This may have been why they always had different answers of where my things were. Also, the manager has very little problems with blaming his staff, suggesting that maybe one of the dispatchers was trying to cover up for the mover and that's why they lied to me about where my things were.3) Smaller point, dispatch was suppose to call me 48h before they arrived and they didn't call. They didn't call the next day (24h prior), so I called them and they said the movers would show up from 8AM-12PM. The next day, the movers showed up at 2PM. I also learned that generally BLVD Moving doesn't answer their Customer Support phone, but what I learned is that someone will definitely pick up your phone call if you call the sales office.4) The movers themselves were good at packing up my things, and they were nice and very professional. There's no problems with the movers, it's only the sales and management. I would suggest staying away from this company.They did however give me a discount for being such a mess, however they only offered $200 off until I told them I was personally offended and then they offered nearly $700 off the total price - which still didn't even come close to the original quote. From the moment I contacted this company, to the moment when they left my daughter's apartment after her move, the team from Blvd Moving was perfect. Every call or email I sent was responded to quickly, and the four men who moved my daughter were on time, careful, efficient and very friendly. I called Starving Students, and I guess they contract out to moving companies. BLVD. Movers was the company who showed up. Unfortunately, they were 45 min. Late, and initially it was rocky with them saying it would be a minimum of 8 hrs. I was already stressed and that kind of set me off. I recently relocated from Los Angeles to New York for a new job opportunity. This was my first time moving out of state. I just want to say that moving is a great pain in the butt and it's extremely stressful.  But thanks to Richard and Eddie from BLVD MOVING, it made my moving experience a lot easier.Now to my experience.So like everyone I was a little scared to hire movers, because you hear all the horror stories from everyone's bad experience.  Like, they are careless, they break things, they are late, they steal stuff, etc.But my sister recommended BLVD MOVING, she had a great experience with them for her move.So I went ahead and reserved two guys for my move.  The day of my move I was going nuts and stressing out.  I did not know what I was going to do with my place and pack my stuff.  But this is where Richard and Eddie came in a played a big part.  Not only did they bring plenty of boxes for me, but they packaged everything else I did not have a chance to box up.  These guys were pure professionals, polite, and listened to my needs.  These guys were here to work, they got the job done correctly and in a timely manner.  And believe me, my move was no easy move at all.I just want to say thank you BLVD MOVING for my experience and a special thanks to Richard and Eddie for an outstanding job, my wife and I appreciate everything you did jot us yesterday. I can't say enough about how happy we are with our experience with BLVD moving! Adam was the first mover to reach out and went into deep detail before giving us the most accurate quote possible. They weren't the least experience but they weren't the highest either. BTW, did I mention this was a cross-country move from California to North Carolina? Adam kept in contact over the weeks before our move and in the end, BLVD saved the day! We had chosen another mover who was less expensive in the quote however... they kept cancelling & rescheduling at the last minute. Adam from BLVD happened to reach out a day or so before our scheduled day & he promised to be on call in case something went wrong. And DID IT EVER! I was on the phone with Adam late on Sunday after our movers cancelled again & BLVD CAME THROUGH LIKE CHAMPIONS! They confirmed with me in NC & my husband still in CA late Sunday evening. They called, confirmed and showed up early Monday morning and had the truck loaded within a few hours. BLVD even delivered our belongings well before the expected date! I had to be moved from Palmdale to Victorville from my storage unit to a two story home. I spoke to Jerry on the phone. I told him the size of my storage and he estimated $900 with three guys. He never made arrangements to actually see my storage. I asked when they would arrive and he had told me I would be called the day before to confirm the move and the time. I never recd a call and even left two messages which were never returned. I was ready on the morning but didn't know if I was even having a move. I was forty five minutes from my storage. I got a call from Marcos telling me they were five minutes out. He didn't know I was never notified. They had to wait for me to arrive. I couldn't apologize enough. The guys were the best. It was very hot and they kept going. They were professional and kind. I totally loved all three of them. But my final cost came to $1400. $500 over what Jerry estimated. ZERO STARS!! These guys are CROOKS!!!! I dealt with Matthew, he came out and gave me an estimate. He seemed like a good guy, was charming, gave me an excellent rate, was personable, etc. My husband has just gone to work so I couldn't give him a definite yes or no about doing business with them. He told me to lock in that rate, I needed to give him a $200 deposit in the form of a check, and I obliged, pending my husbands approval. Well my husband said YES, but I started doing more research into this company and it made me feel uncomfortable. I am moving from California to South Carolina - I need someone I feel TOTALLY comfortable with.... I sent Matthew and email stating NOT to deposit my check as I would no longer need their services. I also sent him a text. He responded "Got it. Cancelled." Thought it was all good after that. Here I am PISSED that BLVD moving deposited my check on 8/8. I have tried calling them and I sent Matthew another text to which I have got no response. I have since reported it to my bank and they are investigating it. Really happy with BLVD Moving! They made a lot of promises and I was really stressing about whether they would be kept or if I would be scammed like I was with another company I hired 3 years ago. My rep Colin assured me that would not happen, and all promises would be kept to the letter. I was relieved and overjoyed to find out that BLVD was good to their word and kep each and every promise. The pickup process went smooth, delivery was well within the time period they guaranteed, and delivery was smooth and easy as well. It was worst experience for me with BLVD movers. 1) First when the sales person came, he was so nice and told that they are the best movers in town, they deliver fast and with care (so though it was expensive i went with them), but when the actual move came, i was suppose to vacate the phoenix house on 6/29 and i gave a 5 days window until 6/28), but they did not come for pick up.. i had to call them multiple times and say harsh words and finally they came with Budget truck on 6/29(night) instead of there semi.. but i had to leave phoenix, so did not argue... 2) In the destination they told they will deliver on 07/03 (Note - it was a short distance move from AZ to CA - less than 500 miles). They never turned up.. i called them several time, most of the time went to voice message(not sure they did not take my calls after seeing the caller id)... they said they have a window of 7 days from 07/03(my preferred date) to deliver it. but i asked them it will take 7 days from AZ to CA and more over the date should be from 06/29(pick up date).. but i waited for 7 days window from 07/03 (note: we leaved with my two little ones with out any beds and things for 12 days). I called them every day, but when the 7th day came they said they never guarantee that they will deliver in 7 days(as per the document that i signed it has a larger window of 30 day + lot of clauses like weather, god, traffic etc may cause the timelines) 3) Finally i said, if you dont deliver it today, i will sue your company.. i had to be harsh with them.. At last they delivered it on 07/13 afternoon ( when i checked with truck driver, he said my things arrived CA 2 days back, not sure why they did not deliver, until i said i will sue your company if you dont deliver it today. 4) and finally to all the misery - the broke most of the things.. damages to tv stand, dinning table, lamps broken, missing shelves etc.......... I did a LOT of research before landing on BLVD because it was such a daunting move, and they seemed to have the best reviews for the most reasonable price.The sales rep made getting a quote quick and easy over the phone, based on the inventory I went over with him. He gave me a lot of helpful information to make sure I understood potential extra costs - like additional insurance or having a shuttle deliver our things if the 18-wheeler couldn't park in our new neighborhood.The move went very smoothly. The two guys who picked up our things in LA were really friendly and efficient, and handled our stuff with care. The separate guys who delivered our things were the same. Stuff was picked up and dropped off exactly when the company said it would be.The only negative thing I have to say is the staff at the LA office isn't very responsive in getting back to you after you book your move. They keep you updated with lots of info along the way - when the movers are picking up, dropping off, etc. BUT, if you call and try to get a hold of them outside of those communications, it's extremely difficult to get a call or email back. Not a big deal, since everything ended up going well, but makes life a little more stressful if you're paranoid about things potentially NOT going right...like me. More...

Finally heard back from their CS Manager (Brian), we had been playing telephone tag. He took issue with my 'before my very eyes' statement. Kept asking 'Did you actually see them put it back on the truck?' Unfortunately, very few criminals alert you to their deeds ahead of time. It would have been nice had they announced: "Watch me, I'm about to steal your picture and put it back on the truck!" Within 2 minutes after their employee had been fondling the picture and inquiring as to its value, it was gone! had to get rid of some of my things, like my artificial plants and flowers as they were put in a box and lots of other things on top of them, tried everything can't fix them, had to make many phone calls to get them to tell me when they would deliver, then they didn't show the day they said, they said they called at 7:30 p.m. to deliver and I didn't answer, left no message, they said I should have called them, caller ID said caller unavailable, no way to know who it was, the delivery was a nightmare, 4 of them, only the truck driver knew what he was doing, they didn't want to take the cardboard and wraps with them like I was told they would, I said you can't leave them here, well we're not suppose to, but for you we will, it was the cardboard from the mattress's, it wouldn't even fit in my car, know way to get rid of them, bad experience all around More...

This company moved my cousins today. Since the cousins are new to smart phones, I am doing the review at their request. Eric from the company called to say he was on his way and gave an ETA. They arrived promptly, were courteous, professional and thorough. They came expecting to move 35 boxes. However, between the storage unit and the residence, it ended up being over 200. These guys didn't bat an eye. They worked for over 13 hours today. They were just as pleasant when they said their final "goodbyes" as they were when they arrived this morning. Though the cousins were exhausted (and sometimes just a tiny bit grumpy), this crew maintained the same demeanor. PLEASANT!!!  We really, really liked these guys and the way they handled the belongings as if they were their own. Highly recommend!! More...

THE VERY BEST MOVERS I have ever encounter in my life. I have moved more times than I would ever want to admit. In the past 3 years I had to move 5 times. All my friends tell me I should open a moving company. The truth is I am an expert by now. I am use to the hassle with moving. Most movers get cranky at the end because I have so much stuff. My furniture has been ruined many times. This time it was all PERFECT! and I am not exaggerating. Pick was a breeze, but don't be fooled. Less than 24 hr notice prior to delivery, then our items were held hostage all day with their "shuttle service" fee. They WILL charge you for this, they WILL not communicate with you , they WILL waste your time, and there is nothing you can do. EDIT: Finally arrived. An hour and 10 minutes after another text of "just 30 more minutes to load the new truck", two apparently homeless men arrived. No uniforms, ratty appearances with dirty tanktop shirts and torn apart jeans arrived to move our boxes from a Uhaul they must have rented. They had no mats to lay on our floors or carpet and tracked dirt everywhere. Boxes labeled fragile were all dented and upside down in the truck. One of the men, Gonzales, even demanded everything up front and that I sign all forms before a single box had been offloaded, including the "everything is off the truck and in excellent condition" form. Not a good experience. They were professional, but when it came to the actual service - bad. My boxes arrived torn, opened, and damaged. The only reason nothing was broken was because I packed it so well. I still don't even know of anything is missing, as several boxes arrived opened and barely re-taped. My couch arrived beat up, as I guess boxes or heavy objects were placed on top, with minor scratches, not tears. The boxes that said fragile on them were thrown and torn. Qualified ReviewAs a contract engineer, I have moved at the very least 15 times in the past 15 years. Sometimes I had to move myself, other times I had the money to have someone to pack and move me to my new location. When I tell you I know I am talking about when it comes to moving, you should pay attention.In April of 2017 I decided to relocate to Huntsville, Alabama from Los Angeles, California since the company I was working for shut the project down due to funding. I found a website where I could get multiple quotes from various movers without picking up the phone, so I did just that. Holy shit the phone was ringing off the hook for weeks. I finally gave into a cute voice on the phone and gave her my business and a deposit. The following day BLVD movers (Matthew Brody) called me and I told him I was already contractually bound thinking I could get him off the phone. He asked who I went with and I told him the company name and he said that it didn't matter if I went with his company or not but that he wanted to show me something about this company and give me a price estimate. I reluctantly agreed since I was curious about what kind of bullshit he was going to throw my way. Matthew showed up and I explained again that I was already locked in to a contract, He said no you are not and let me show you something. We looked up the company name and address and he showed me what is called in the industry a "reincarnation". This was a new one on me and I asked what he meant. Then he showed me on my computer that the company was so terrible in their previous dBa (doing business as) that the "rebranded" themselves and started up again in the same address but with different shirts and trucks. I investigated this and noticed that the reviews for this company were only a year or so old and the address was exactly the same. Son of a Bitch, that guy just saved me a shit ton of pain. Ok, so now I am picking up what this guy is putting down.We walked my entire apartment and came up with a price. He explained that in the unlikely event of a long carry or multiple flights of stairs there would be additional charges which I already knew about from the other 14 times I had moved. We talked about BLVD packing me and me doing some packing. We talked about particle board furniture and we talked about the process of what will happen and when it will happen. So, I gladly signed and gave him a 500.00 deposit on the spot. He told me they guys would be there on the 28th of April to pack me up and asked me when the first available date was I could accept the shipment. I told him the 5th of May which is how long it took me to drive to Alabama with a stop or two along the way to visit friends and family. I also asked him about moving my motorcycle as well. He said that it would not be wise for him to do it and that he knew a guy. He said how much do you want to pay and I said 750.00 is a fair price since I had done this before when moving to and from Seattle. He said he would make a call and have the bike mover call me. The bike mover called and arranged to pick up my bike on the 26th of April and I could tell right away this guy moved bikes. He picked up my bike on his trailer and left as scheduled. He made a promise and kept it. Barlow Moving is the company name and I will review him separately. He did a wonderful job and I will use him or recommend him again as needed.On the 28th, four guys showed up, as promised by Matthew. The guys worked like I had never seen movers work before. I had extra time on my hands before they showed up so I packed a good portion of my stuff to make the move faster for them.  They did such a good job I gave them 100.00 each. They were very appreciative and cleaned up the apartment leaving no trash or damage as they left.I arrived in Huntsville on the 4th of May and I was exhausted and ready to get my stuff in my apartment as soon as possible. I knew from talking to Matthew that it was going to be 21 days max since the distance was over 2000 miles. I prepared myself as best as I could by bringing what I needed to exist on for the next 3 weeks. Sometime went by and I decided to check in to see where my shipment was at and when I should expect it. I spoke to Brian in long distance dispatch. He was very polite, courteous and told me that the shipment was still in CA. It took a while due to logistics not being the most dependable science in the world but they finally got my belongings on a truck headed my way. By the way, they use Roadway for long distance hauls which was fine by me. Well, today is the 22nd of May and my shipment was just delivered this morning. It took two guys about 3  1/2 hours to off load all of my stuff. I had to pay 112.50 extra for the long-distance carry since the truck driver couldn't get his truck in the space I planned him using. Those guys busted their ass as well, and again I gave them each 100.00 tip. They were grateful, polite and respectful of my belongings. More...

I found a website where I could get multiple quotes from various movers without picking up the phone, so I did just that. Holy shit the phone was ringing off the hook for weeks. I finally gave into a cute voice on the phone and gave her my business and a deposit. The following day BLVD movers (Matthew Brody) called me and I told him I was already contractually bound thinking I could get him off the phone. He asked who I went with and I told him the company name and he said that it didn't matter if I went with his company or not but that he wanted to show me something about this company and give me a price estimate. I reluctantly agreed since I was curious about what kind of bullshit he was going to throw my way. Matthew showed up and I explained again that I was already locked in to a contract, He said no you are not and let me show you something. We looked up the company name and address and he showed me what is called in the industry a "reincarnation". This was a new one on me and I asked what he meant. Then he showed me on my computer that the company was so terrible in their previous dBa (doing business as) that the "rebranded" themselves and started up again in the same address but with different shirts and trucks. I investigated this and noticed that the reviews for this company were only a year or so old and the address was exactly the same. Son of a Bitch, that guy just saved me a shit ton of pain. Ok, so now I am picking up what this guy is putting down.We walked my entire apartment and came up with a price. He explained that in the unlikely event of a long carry or multiple flights of stairs there would be additional charges which I already knew about from the other 14 times I had moved. We talked about BLVD packing me and me doing some packing. We talked about particle board furniture and we talked about the process of what will happen and when it will happen. So, I gladly signed and gave him a 500.00 deposit on the spot. He told me they guys would be there on the 28th of April to pack me up and asked me when the first available date was I could accept the shipment. I told him the 5th of May which is how long it took me to drive to Alabama with a stop or two along the way to visit friends and family. I also asked him about moving my motorcycle as well. He said that it would not be wise for him to do it and that he knew a guy. He said how much do you want to pay and I said 750.00 is a fair price since I had done this before when moving to and from Seattle. He said he would make a call and have the bike mover call me. The bike mover called and arranged to pick up my bike on the 26th of April and I could tell right away this guy moved bikes. He picked up my bike on his trailer and left as scheduled. He made a promise and kept it. Barlow Moving is the company name and I will review him separately. He did a wonderful job and I will use him or recommend him again as needed.On the 28th, four guys showed up, as promised by Matthew. The guys worked like I had never seen movers work before. I had extra time on my hands before they showed up so I packed a good portion of my stuff to make the move faster for them.  They did such a good job I gave them 100.00 each. They were very appreciative and cleaned up the apartment leaving no trash or damage as they left.I arrived in Huntsville on the 4th of May and I was exhausted and ready to get my stuff in my apartment as soon as possible. I knew from talking to Matthew that it was going to be 21 days max since the distance was over 2000 miles. I prepared myself as best as I could by bringing what I needed to exist on for the next 3 weeks. Sometime went by and I decided to check in to see where my shipment was at and when I should expect it. I spoke to Brian in long distance dispatch. He was very polite, courteous and told me that the shipment was still in CA. It took a while due to logistics not being the most dependable science in the world but they finally got my belongings on a truck headed my way. By the way, they use Roadway for long distance hauls which was fine by me. Well, today is the 22nd of May and my shipment was just delivered this morning. It took two guys about 3  1/2 hours to off load all of my stuff. I had to pay 112.50 extra for the long-distance carry since the truck driver couldn't get his truck in the space I planned him using. Those guys busted their ass as well, and again I gave them each 100.00 tip. They were grateful, polite and respectful of my belongings. More...

Qualified ReviewAs a contract engineer, I have moved at the very least 15 times in the past 15 years. Sometimes I had to move myself, other times I had the money to have someone to pack and move me to my new location. Blvd Moving did a great job of moving me to my new home. They arrived on time, listened to my crazy organizational structure, and took care to move my items. When they arrived at my new home, they put all items in their correct rooms and even helped my set up my t.v. with the media unit. They were very courteous and kind in making sure I was satisfied and they moved everything quickly. I will definitely be using Blvd Moving in the future! More...

AWESOME. Can't rave enough about these movers. It was my daughter's first out of state move and she had her concerns; she's 4 and very opinionated... :) The movers were very sweet with her. She felt so comfortable around them that she spent most of her time in the rooms watching them disassemble furniture and wrap everything up. They were very kind. Pick up and drop off was very organized and efficient. I would be happy to use them in the future. My only complaint which I already told someone at BLVD Moving but I don't think it was ever addressed:I had a window that opened vertically instead of side to side. It wouldn't stay open.. so I put a thin round mirror in the window to keep it open. It was an extra mirror that was used for decoration under candelabras at a wedding.... to give you an idea. Anyway, I guess he was trying to open it more and he just let it drop from fully open. Sure, he probably wasn't expecting it to fall but the mirror shattered. Now, I wasn't mad about the mirror breaking. It probably wasn't even worth $5. The point was how he handled the situation. 1) He didn't know I was watching him. 2) He didn't say anything. He just put a shrink wrap roll to hold open the window instead. 3) He didn't clean it up. Again, I have a 4 year old. What if I hadn't witnessed that and told my daughter to stay away? Once they left... I went over there (forgetting what had happened) and got my foot stuck with a shard. It was all over the carpet and window seal. What if that was my daughter? I just thought that was very irresponsible & inconsiderate especially knowing I had a child. But again, my overall experience weighs much heavier than one mistake. More...

Great service at a good price. I was really impressed by the professionalism and skilled work of Joel, Peter and Alex. All the wrapping was done using blankets and they were careful with the fragile items despite being quick. No issues with respect to flight of stairs or distance to truck. There was slight increase in the cubic feet from the estimate and I paid extra for that, but that's part and parcel of moving :) More...

Worst move of my ENTIRE LIFE! Couldn't even get the Owner on the phone regarding it! When they arrived I was not only overcharged but charged for time they were trying to get the owner on the phone for me! I was charged for the time they called but not even at my place! I was charged as they had to discuss the move for 40 mins. I was charge over double what the move should have been! The guys made me fill out a survey that I did not want to fill out and told me how they had to have it filled out or I would be wrapped in Saran Wrap they had from Home Depot and place in a garment box in the back of the truck! That was stated over and over again as an intimidation tool. They refused to discuss in house. Only in the back of the truck! David would not get on the phone with me to discuss as I am an Investigative News Reporter! I want a full refund! More...

Richard and Ray were EXCELLENT, professional, polite, and incredibly efficient! I saw them jogging to and from the truck on multiple occasions in order to get my moving job done within my limited time frame.
