I just got married this past weekend, I don’t know where to begin. Kara and Chris were my day of coordinators. Amazing, helpful, life savers ! !! All will go ok and took on so many tasks and helped me in so many ways that they didn’t have to. Five stars across the board! Chris and Heather of Blue Skies Events are amazing. They were referred to me by a friend who got married a few months before and she had nothing but wonderful things to say about their service. The moment they took over the planning I felt so relieved because they had a their bases covered and came 200% prepared. They were warm and friendly yet professional throughout the entire process. Even when things started going wrong, due to Hurricane Dorian, they managed to help us figure out small details and completely handled the bigger details so my husband and I didn't have to worry. My husband and I decided to have a surprise wedding and knew we would need help to pull it off. Heather was our planner and she was fabulous. We had about four months to plan our 150 guest event and she made the process practically effortless. She had ideas for venues, florists, decor, photography, furniture rental--literally everything that you could possibly need for a wedding. We chose the couture coordination package, since I already had most all of my vendors picked out and all the big stuff planned. I needed someone to help me get the finer detailed figured out in the final weeks before the wedding, and to be there during the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly and according to plan. We worked with Blue Skies from the beginning of our wedding planning process. We initially worked with one staff member that eventually left the company. We were given Samantha in her place and we could not have lucked out more! Samantha made the entire process as smooth as possible. I don't even know where to begin...Heather and the Blue Skies team should be charging 4x's what they do for all of the help, support, guidance, and FRIENDSHIP they gave to me over the past 10 months while planning my wedding. From the monthly phone conferences, multiple emails answering any silly question I had, accompanying me to many meetings for support, and doing EVERYTHING on my wedding day so that I did not have to lift a finger; I could not be more thankful for Blue Skies. My wedding planners were Kelly & Heather. They both were very detail oriented, had excellent communication and even helped me plan our wedding out of state! Like most, this is our first time planning a wedding, and the overwhelming feeling that I needed to know everything was gone as soon as I spoke with them in the initial phone call. They took so much off my plate and allowed me to enjoy the moment leading up to the wedding & the wedding with my now HUSBAND!

On the wedding day, I would say I was as cool as a cucumber and got to enjoy champagne with the mother & mother in law & bridesmaids as Heather was handling anything and everything for set up and meeting with vendors on the day of the wedding.

Anything that didn't go as planned, and trust me, not everything is going to go as planned, Heather was our go to!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Kara and the Blue Skies team!!! I got married March 30 and can honestly say the day would not have been nearly as great without the help of Kara. I had a million questions leading up to the big day and she was there at any hour of the day to help me out and keep me sane! ;) everything went off flawlessly for our ceremony and I could not believe my eyes when I saw our cocktail hour and reception spaces all complete with the little personalized decorations and touches that she setup for us. To my fellow brides, do yourself a favor and work with my girl Heather! I work a crazy job and had little to no time for wedding planning, but obviously still wanted the perfect day. I put ALL of my faith into Heather & her team. Our big day was WAY better than anything I could have planned on my own. Even my now husband said after the wedding, “babe how did you piece all of this together so well? I didn’t know you had that in you.” It took all of me to not sneak the credit ;) but I had to tell him, that was allllll Heather and the Blue Skies team. My day was flawless. Not one thing went out of schedule or order. Heather was there for me every step of the way. She was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process! Not only did she take the time to meet with me and go over my visual for the wedding, she kept in close contact with me and was very easy to reach if I had any questions. She put together a very detailed timeline for the big day and made sure that all my vendors had a copy to ensure that everything would go smoothly (and it did)!. I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with Blue Skies. So many people keep telling us, "This was the BEST wedding I've ever been to", and we owe it all to Blue Skies and her team.

Throughout the process, Heather remained so calm, professional and supportive.

She was constantly two steps ahead, thinking of every detail and was so helpful in the decision making process. She made the process so easy and I trusted her so much that I didn't worry about a thing on my wedding day. I couldn't be more grateful for her help and expertise. On the actual day of the wedding, she ran back and forth from the bridal and grooms suite, and the venue, and did an incredible job coordinating between all of the vendors. We worked with Samantha F. and she was a sweetheart. She was very organized and willing to touch base with us before the regularly scheduled timing. She was a delight to work with and even helped us save some money by ordering specialty linens through Blue Skies--including delivering and drop off! We had a lot of signage and specialty frames we wanted to be staged in a particular way and Samantha and her assistant made it happen flawlessly. What can I say...Blue Skies is absolutely phenomenal. My wedding day and planning experience was just incredible. Samantha and Kelly made our big day run so smoothly!! Honestly I would give them 100 stars if I could. Samantha became our coordinator one month before the wedding after complications with our previous coordinator. I was super stressed about starting over with such short notice, but she went above and beyond! She always texted me back promptly, reached out to the vendors for me, and answered all of my many questions. The two of them were superstars on the day of the wedding and handled every single detail so that I stayed calm. It ended up being a perfect day for me, even though a few things went wrong. AMAZING!—the first word that comes to mind. Samantha and her team were professional, quick to respond, on top of EVERYthing from start to finish. I can't even begin to explain how incredibly happy I am with Blue Skies. I booked a month of coordination package during a promotion they were having and I did it without meeting with anyone face to face, which made me a little nervous. I really wanted to book with someone who would "get us", but I took a risk and it was worth it. Heather was incredibly responsive whether by email or phone. She even helped me pick my florist! (who I also LOVED). I had the pleasure of getting to know Samantha, who would be my day of coordinator, the week before the wedding. After my first phone conversation with Sam I literally cried because for the first time in all of my wedding planning I felt so relieved- like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. She said not to worry about a thing, she would handle it, and everything would be perfect. She went above and beyond my expectations. During our rehearsal she rallied to troops together (my bridal party). I texted her at 9pm the night before the wedding because I thought it would be better to eat dinner outside instead of inside our reception venue and her response was "you send me the table numbers, I'll draw up an arrangement and we work it out, you just tell me if you like it". She was so easy going and ready at a moment's notice for anything I needed. I mean, she made every single step of planning-up until the last minutes- so easy for me. The day-of was perfect and Sam was there to make sure we ate and had a drink in our hand- it really meant the world to us. Blue Skies...OMG, Where to begin! Blue Skies is amazing!!! Heather and Samantha gave us the most incredible wedding -one that will be remembered forever by ourselves and our guests! Whatever they did behind the scenes allowed us to have the best time and, of course, we had complete faith in our duo team! What she did that we did know about was absolutely gorgeous- everything from coordinating the vendors and the bridesmaids/groomsmen, answering our last minute questions, suggesting new vendors, and patiently working with us throughout the year. They have an impeccable eye for design and bringing it together!!! I had no idea what I was looking for and Heather sat with us learning about our relationship and us as a couple and designed a wedding beyond my wildest imagination! Our venue did not come with a coordinator, but it was highly recommended that we get one- and I am so glad that we had Heather there for us! I am very organized, perhaps to a fault, and there was a communication mishap two weeks or so prior to the wedding that sent me into a panic, but Heather was so quick to get in touch with me and figure it all out. She really knows how to calm nerves and get everything together. She coordinated getting touch with all our vendors before the wedding so my husband and I did not need to worry about any of that. Anything that I may have been unsure of when it came to wedding details, she quickly provided her expert input to help me make the right decisions. Her insight is second to none! My favorite part of everything was her day of timeline. She makes it so detailed you do not even need to think the day of! Your entire day is laid out for you on a sheet of paper (to the minute!). That timeline really put me at ease, it was amazing. When we arrived to the venue everything was set up beautifully, all thanks to Blue Skies. She even took care of cleanup and coordination of our vendors after the event (rental pick ups, etc).
