Joshua was very professional from beginning to end. He answers emails/calls/texts promptly. He arrived early on day of party to set up and answer any questions we had/made sure that all the details were squared away. We provided him with a playlist and some suggestions which he followed. Music was great, people were up and dancing the entire time. He even helped us purchase a GOBO projector light to surprise our guests with a baby gender reveal. If you're looking for a DJ in the Boston area, Joshua of Blue Muse Productions is your man. I have had the opportunity to work with DJ Joshua two times over the past few months, and both times I have been amazed at his attention to detail and work ethic. DJ Joshua brings with him years of experience, a great enthusiasm for his job, and an incredibly professional demeanor. His quick problem solving skills and ability to read a crowd instantly make him the perfect DJ for any type of event. DJ Joshua always makes sure that he is aware of the client's specific wants and needs and makes it his mission to exceed them to the best of his ability. He always shows up early for an event, and extensively tests his equipment to guarantee that it is running perfectly. In the case of any type of equipment malfunction, DJ Joshua always has a backup plan and spare equipment. Therefore, the client can be assured that short of a complete power outage, their event will run without incident. DJ Joshua has great attention to detail and professionalism that I have rarely seen in my ten years in the wedding industry. Josh did an awesome job. He was available last minute. He had excellent variety of songs to accommodate the wide age range for our party. Played current hot and popular songs to those songs from 80s and 70s. He was very knowledgeable about all types of songs from hip hop to rap to dance tones ect. Joshua helped us to create the perfect vibe for our Live DJ Glowga class in May! Joshua did such an AMAZING job at my parent's 40th wedding anniversary party. We had a hippie/Woodstock theme and Joshua played a lot of great songs to go with our theme, along with taking requests and playing more recent top radio hits as well. Joshua is very easy to get in contact with and responds to email and texts very promptly. He is very accommodating and everyone was just over all very happy with his services. We hired Blue Muse Productions for a sweet 16 party, and DJ Josh could not have been any better! The kids never sat down! He locked right into their musical interests and kept them dancing all night long ! All I heard as I walked around (and did a lot of dancing myself!) was, “I love this song!” What made Josh’s DJ skills even more impressive was the fact that the venue we held the party at had no WiFi, so all of the music he played was in his possession. Very impressive!! He had lighting around his DJ booth that was pretty cool looking too. His personality was so fun, but also professional.
