I ordered the spaghetti ala chitarrra and the flavors were delicious. I loved the charred broccoli and the freshness of the pasta. I ordered the ribeye w/baby potatoes and brussel sprouts. The steak was nice and juicy, and cooked EXACTLY to my preference. At the recommendation of the bartender, I ordered the chocolate dessert. Have you tried their ribeye? One of the things that I hate the most when it comes to steak is the fact that in most of the restaurants is a lottery, even if you had it before and it was good, next time might not be, and it sucks! I can eat a not so great pizza or burger, but not a steak. At black sheep a ribeye is a no brainer for me, I've had it plenty of times and it's always amazing. Who knew they had brunch? And to top it off a fabulous brunch without a long wait? Wow, perfect outdoor seating for nice days, great service, delicious food! Chose this restaurant based on a recommendation from our daughter. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing. Service was awesome. Work party was awesome. Great service, tasty fresh drinks, delicious food. We went on 12/13, the rooftop bartender at 6pm was rude and very unfriendly. Definitly made us feel unwelcome. We ended up giving up on service and left quickly and just waited inside 1st floor for coworkers to show up. Other than that, the experience was great. I haven't been to Black Sheep in a few years so when a friend asked if we would like the join them how could we say no.When we checked in they had us at a table on the ground level but they were able to switch us to a table on the rooftop which we were very happy about. Our waitress quickly came over and brought us water then quickly returned for drinks. I ordered the Old Fashioned and for and appetizer we ordered the Poutine. I loved how they served the Poutine, It comes out with the fries, cheese and pastrami then the waitress poured on the gravy so it was hot enough to melt the cheese but didn't sit too long so the fries lost their crisp. We loved it. Of entrees I ordered the Grass Fed Hamburger added cheese for $1 cooked medium rare. I was going to get the Korean Short Ribs since they are amazing but Ashley decided to get them and couldn't have two of the same thing. My burger came out with a large helping of Skinny Fries (different then what is used in the Poutine). Everything looked great but when I cut into my burger it seemed to have been cooked medium well not medium rare. Was not a huge deal the burger was still very good but just lost it's 5 star potential. I also really enjoyed the Ancho Chile Aioli that comes with the fries.
