Some of the best food and specialty drinks I've had. They have a chef's special burger that is different every time. Had a large party here for my birthday and they were very accommodating even though the place is kinda small. Bitters is a great spot for light snacks and drinks. If you go during happy hour, you get a discount on certain appetizers before 6PM I think? Might be 7. Our first time here. Loved the variety of cocktails. I usually go for local draft beers but the bartender explained although they have great beers, they are known for their cocktails. The staff were knowledgeable about the food and drinks. I ordered two cocktails and my husband ordered two and I liked all 4 of them! We also ordered several appetizers and one dessert and was pleasantly surprised. From what I’ve tried, my favs (so far) are the Bitter Ex cocktail and the Ceviche appetizer! Although that Bitter- in-Lav cocktail and beets with beef & goat cheese and the seasonal vegetables were all amazingly delicious too!! My husband and I are from Florence, and stopped by this place and I am so glad we did!!! Incredible chill environment with so many fun games. We played scrabble, trivial pursuit and cards. Mike was an incredible bartender, he knew the menu top to bottom and found exactly what my husband loved drinking. Their Bitter Fries are out of this world. Fantastic, and sold out, Bitters Experience celebrating International Women's Month. My wife and I had the bourbon bacon popcorn as an appetizer. Dinner was blistered seasonal vegetables and their mushroom and truffle mac n cheese. Everything was delicious. The night ended on the patio with Lisa Carrington, local mixologist, talking about four women that helped give so much but received little recognition in our history books. Erika Rode (Owner/founder), Jordan Hooks (Asst Mgr), Bailee Warrell (Chef), and Lisa all created cocktails; each one as unique as the women they chose to celebrate. I recently moved to the area so I'm trying eateries in the area and I'm glad I stopped in! Bitters had a great ambiance and was very clean. I ended up having the BBQ Mac n Cheese which was so delicious. I also ended up having a chocolate milk stout (the name I can't remember) and a "Bitter Flip" which was a mixed drink that included Stout, Rum, Sherry, and a mix of a few other things and both were great. Excellent service. We had a nice time sitting outside for Sunday brunch this morning. I had the wakey wakey eggs and bacey, and an old mule drink, all delicious.
