This page is sooo incredibly amazing and informative. I'm living with Bi-Polar 2 and it's a struggle every second of every day. Knowing that I'm not the only one out there is sooo helpful. I didn't know it until I seen it but there is a Bi Polar magazine out there. That is the kind of information and reading about how to manage your Bi Polar and letting those who don't suffer from the mental illness know and be aware of certain things is what makes International Bipolar Foundation amazing! 5 Stars all the way!!!!!! Thank God you are finely here. It has been a hard lifetime trying to understand what is wrong with me.
This page is excellent. I find the articles I read on here keep me in touch with medical advances concerning mental health taking place around the globe, which interests me plenty! People also get to share their stories as well which is awesome on many levels. Some find hope in others stories as well as ideas or information and it's nice to vent or share your own experiences. This page is amazing. It is opening the eyes of those who don;t suffer from mental illness and helping those who do to understand it better and not feel so alone.
When I was first diagnosed in 1998 not that much was known about bipolar disorder I and there really wasn't too much to educate yourself and your loved ones on the subject. However, I found this great book through research called
"An Unquiet Mind: A Memoir of Moods and Madness" by Kay Redfield Jamison.
I personally suggest everyone who is suffering read this. Afterwards, you will know for sure you are NOT alone.
Thanks so much International Bipolar Foundation for making all of this possible! More...
Im glad IBF is here for those of us who live with BP. We have a place to share our thoughts and look for help when feeling lost and alone. I was diagnosed with BP in my late 20s, after I had a nervous breakdown in the doctors office. She sent me to a specialist, who then diagnosed me. I believe I have been with it for longer then that but I was too young to understand what was happening to me. Thank you IBF for the hard work you do to help us endure, get through the hard times and remind us we are good people who did nothing to cause the disorder. ❤❤ More...

I was diagnosed with bipolar and PTSD and other problems, I was skeptical at first following this page, but I gave it a try and I'm grateful I did so. I have my own service dog named Hecate or "Hex" for short, and article about service dogs always make me happy because people start to learn the fundamentals of what a service dog is. I, myself, advocate for mental health awareness but also for service dogs. I am thankful for an amazing page that makes me comfortable to read and to relate to other people. More...
