On my daughter's recommendation, she and I came here after doing her auto tag. We had flautas and a 5th Amendment taco, all excellent. They have a variety of sauces (go for the mango!). This was an old drive-in back in the day. Then it became a donut shop. The some legislators complained that there was a traffic signal between Western and Broadway for nearly ever intersection. And those legislators threatened to punish OKC with less state funding unless at least half the lights were removed. So the light was removed at Dewey and the owner said it tanked him. It was a wonderful tanking, as Big Truck bought the building and has almost continually served barbacoa and such in excellent style. Tacos, burritos, bowls, breakfast, queso, guac, and all the wonderful stuff they do. They only torked me off by being closed for months...grrr. But you have to realize they had been open since it was the donut shop and they hadn't really changed anything. More...

We loved it here.. we ordered to-go but will be sure to eat in next time as there are outside tables and you can order beer with your mexican food. Similar to Torchy's but with more of a street taco feel, lots of options, plus breakfast! The queso looked amazing, we didn't order it but wished we had as we watched lots of other people ordering. Wonderful selection of meats, freshly prepared, and lots of good sauces, for every taste. My only concern about this place is location, like most places on 23rd street its difficult to get in and out of, but this is more just an issue of the area and not so much a problem with the returant. On thag note I would give the customer interactions category a 5 out ot 5. This was my first time going and I had no idea what to order, I asked the cashier and she quickly gave me several suggestions, I went with the fried shrimp tacos and they were excellent. On top of that I get to keep the souvenir cup and I will deffently be going back. Finnally there was a young lady that came around to remove our old dishes and refill our drinks, she was very energetic and positive and that is what made this go from my original 4 stars to 5. I think its so important to make sure your customers feel comfortable and important and she did this VERY well. More...
