Food was good. However they would not allow me to put cheese on my Taco's even thought it was sitting right in front of me. As a customer that spent many years in the food an beverage industry, I always wanted to please the customer. Big Joe's catered our corporate event at Carpinteria State Beach. The staff and set up were professional, the food was delicious and portions were generous. We did a variety of tacos, followed by churros and ice cream sundae bar. Even in the 80+ degree temps, the guys did an excellent job of keeping the ice cream cold. Our staff loved the food. Used Big Joe’s catering for the very first time yesterday. The food was amazing! My family and guests were highly impressed! We ordered red and green enchiladas, rice and beans. Everything was excellent. You can really tell that the sauces for the enchiladas are homemade and that makes a huge difference! We hired a big Joe's for our wedding. My husband and I just love tacos we are both locals from Santa Barbara so we thought it was just the perfect idea for our wedding! The thing that we love the most about big Joe is that he made it personal! We felt like we were all good friends of his that we've known for a really long time it felt like it was something that he truly cared about and you could tell by the food as well! He sets up all the tables he takes down everything the food was great you can't go wrong with tacos but it was extra special to us! We had beans and rice we had guacamole and chips he also set up everything for appetizers in our cocktail hour and those went so quickly! We just absolutely adore big Joe and we would recommend him for any and all events that you ever do he was just so fantastic he was timely with his responses anytime I needed to text him email him or message him on Facebook he responded to really timely manner! Big Joes catered my husband's birthday over the summer - best decision ever, I will book them every year! Easy to communicate with, very fairly priced, showed up on time, made great food, and communicated with me when they thought people were finished eating so I could check in with my guests before they cleaned up. They catered my jobs event today and it was great loved it....I didn't get to eat the other stuff like chips and wings or fruit kabobs cuz they ran out but the tacos were amazing! !! The green salsa I loved and was sooo worth the heartburn in the end LOL besides I'm a Mexican tacos are my main thing I look forward to when I hear taquero not all the stuff they brought lol!!! Big Joe's Tacos catered my niece and nephews birthday party last night and they had some amazing tacos I had a sampler plate that consisted of 4 different types of tacos chicken, asada, adobada and chorizo my favorite were the chorizo tacos they were amazing, so glad we booked them for my daughters party in a few weeks.
