The woman on the phone was so helpful when I was back and forth on which roses to choose from (tall and traditional or short and compact), very patient. I forgot to order birthday flowers for my friend. On the day of her birthday, I called Big Apple Florist at 1pm and asked them if it was too late to have flowers delivered in the financial district by 4pm. They said "deliveries usually take about 3-4 hours, but let's give it a try". I was elated!!! The Birthday note said; I hope your year is as beautiful as these flowers, so the flowers had to be extremely beautiful.... They were! And they were delivered before 3:30pm. I called Big Apple Florist with a last second request for a corsage for my 5 year old daughter. Not only were they able to fill the request really quickly. ..Emily actually made me two corsages, of different sizes because, she wasn't sure how big my daughter's wrists were. I really appreciated that level of care and thoughtfulness. And ultimately they gave me both options. So my daughter had flowers for her hair and wrist and loved them both. Lui and her team at Big Apple Florist were top notch from start to finish. Even when we changed our idea and image for the centerpieces at our staging meeting, she was incredibly flexible, patient and worked with us to figure out what was best for our style and price point. As a bride with a job in Finance and no wedding planner, I appreciated her quick response time to my phone calls and e-mails throughout the entire process.

When the big day finally arrived, the huppah was outstanding - simple and classic yet elegant, it was exactly what I had envisioned. Despite being a summer wedding with an outdoor ceremony, the flowers looked fresh and beautiful. Same for the bouquets & boutonnieres that lasted all day and evening!

The centerpieces at the cocktail hour & reception were absolutely exquisite and beyond my wildest dreams. I don't even think the pictures properly capture how incredible everything looked. I  ordered flowers to be delivered same day to hospital for a patient having surgery. The florist called the hospital directly to make sure they would accept deliveries and they made it to the right room even though one had not been assigned yet at the time I placed the order. I was sending flowers to a friend recovering from a major surgery and everyone at Big Apple Florist - from my first phone call with them in October to today, the day the arrangement was finally delivered - was absolutely incredible. They called several times each day to follow up on whether or not my friend was out of the ICU and the flowers could be sent. I also got updates several times a day via phone call which I appreciated tremendously. Each of you at Big Apple deserves a giant hug and I will send anyone and everyone your way for flowers. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Big Apple Florist, and Jennifer in particular!  I found myself in Big Apple Florist one day purchasing a plant for a friend when I met Jennifer.  With our wedding approaching (and feeling dissatisfied with the florist we were working with), I asked Jennifer if they did weddings.  She immediately got excited and offered to take me to the office that very second to discuss!  In my first meeting with Jennifer I knew we had to work together!  She is enthusiastic, hilarious, and talented.  Jennifer felt like an old friend from the first time I met her.  I showed her a few pictures and explained what I had in mind and she immediately got my vision.  In fact, she not only understood my vision, but made it better!  When I walked into our venue the day of the wedding, I was completely blown away!  Jennifer and the team had completely exceeded my expectations!  Let's be honest, most people don't remember the flowers/centerpieces at weddings.  Well, at our wedding we had RAVE reviews about the flowers, lighting, and centerpieces!  I should also mention that Jennifer did a million little things to make the process easier for us!  She allowed us to store wedding materials at the shop and then transported them to the venue so we didn't have to worry about it, she volunteered to make some chalkboard signs for me to take something off my plate (and she did a much better job than I would have!), she even wrote out all of our place cards!  It doesn't get much better than that!  I recommend Jennifer and Big Apple Florist without hesitation and cannot wait until I have another excuse to work with them! The proximity of Big Apple Florist to my wife's office was what attracted me to them initially. The quality of their product and their exemplary service is what has kept me as a customer. I don't send flowers often so when I do I want to be sure that what arrives is perfect and Big Apple never lets me down.
