This amazing woman donated her time and supplies to bless my 7 year old son with a cake. My 7 year old is the younger brother to my make-a-wish son. Thena is awesome at her job and quite a delight to work with. Our experience with her during the designing of our cake was very pleasant and easy to work with when tossing ideas back and forth. She doesn't pressure you into any ideas you're unsure of, but instead will walk you through some popular and unique designs to tailor to your needs. She makes everything by hand, her fillings are all homemade and she uses delicious homemade buttercream icing that's not too sweet, just perfectly rich enough to harmonize with the soft, spongey cake. We have had 2 cakes made by Thena and both were phenomenal. She made my parents wedding cake a year ago and guests are still talking about it, and she just made a Bubble Guppies themed cake for my daughter's 1st birthday that was so gorgeous I didn't even want to eat it. I was able to attend the cake tasting with my parents and there isn't a single flavor combination that I've tried that wasn't delicious. We absolutely fell in love with our cake we ordered! It was for my husband's retirement from the US Air Force after 20+ years. Not only was it beautiful, awesome, & perfect, but it tasted amazing! I 100% would recommend Thena. She sat down with us and listened to our vision. She was straightforward with us about pricing and gave us realistic expectations about what would happen.
Our cake was everything I envisioned. She loves her cakes and treats them like her children until they are dropped off at the wedding. On top of being gorgeous, the cake was so delicious! We got many compliments from our guests and she will be the first person we call when we need a cake.

Thena made the cake for me and my wife's beautiful wedding at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in June of 2009. I cannot recommend her work highly enough. We wanted a very tall, elegant cake that incorporated fresh florals, and what we got was nearly a work of art. We almost hated to cut it. Not only did they look fantastic, but the flavors were simply amazing. We had different flavors for each layer of a six-layer cake. My favorite was the pink champagne cake.
