We enjoyed a wonderful 1.5 hour horseback ride with your guide, Robin, on Tuesday. The scenery was beautiful and Robin was so helpful the entire time. We enjoyed the ride and will definitely be back the next time we are in the area! Our horses, Sophie, Dan and Billy Bob were the perfect fit for each of us and we loved having your dog, Rider, along with us for the entire ride. More...

The area was beautiful and the camp sites were clean. The camp host was very friendly and very approachable. There were tons of places to walk, hike and bike and just take in the wild life. We will absolutely go back.

Sledding and Ice Skating at Beaver Meadows is an Annual Tradition for our family. Some years we combine it with the adventure of chopping down our own Christmas Tree. We love it here.

This is our favorite place in all of Colorado to go to for a mini weekend vacation. Between hiking, campfires, smores, fishing, snow tubing, live music, cute affordable condos and cabins, the staff, and the raw natural beauty of the valley - you simply can't find anything better. We are here every other weekend all year long. Come experience it for yourself - so much fun to be had. More...

Beaver meadows a fun little family resort that’s close to where we live in Loveland. There is a variety of things to do however the tubing runs are the biggest draw in our opinion. Beaver Meadows is a piece of heaven on Earth. Family friendly, clean accommodations, good food at the lodge, lots of great activities year round. Highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away from it all. Camping and cabins next to the river or ponds, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, snow tubing, cross country skiing, great trails for snow shoeing, and just relaxing. It's all available here at Beaver Meadows. Been coming here since 1993. More...

Unfortunately, like the rest of the state, they were in disparate need of snow. However, the staff did a great job trucking in snow and constantly shoveling snow around so that they can keep the runs open. Also, this is not just a hill, these runs have jumps, turns, banks, and even a half pipe. The staff is at the top to help you out and even give you a push. This place is a great, hidden gem. More...

I must give a hand to all of the people working on that mountain doing their best to keep snow in the runs for the many people wanting to tube. If only the weather would cooperate! My group had a great time all afternoon. Hope you got snow after we left - a few flakes were starting to fall.
We didn't ice-skate, but the ice looked pretty good for those that were out there on it.

Clean cabin, fresh linens, wrap around deck, tables and chairs, bbq grill and seating area around fire pit. Very nice staff, beautiful community grounds, nicely manicured and maintained. We were able to let our dogs off leash to play with the pack of resident dogs. We enjoyed eating on the restaurant patio each night (it's dog friendly) and taking a pizza back to the cabin with us. We were warned about a bear problem in their area and nearby towns but we never saw one ourselves.  We did the 2 hr horse ride with river crossing on our last day. Glad we did. I got married at Beaver Meadows in the second week of September this year and my experience there was better than I could have imagined! We stayed at the JP cabin and the rest of the lodging was full of our guests and some people elected to camp or rent a camper cabin. The leaves were just starting to change and it was absolutely gorgeous! Our rehearsal dinner was at Buddy's Cave and it has a bonfire pit outside which was great for hanging out during and after dinner. The Crossing wedding site is phenomenal and the reception was close by at the Big Bear Pavilion. The food (burgers and brats) was freshly grilled and delicious, and the staff worked their butts off to make sure everyone had a great time. After the wedding dance party, they had a bonfire going for us at the big pit outside the restaurant which was a blast. I highly recommend this resort, whether it be for a wedding or just a mountain getaway. More...

We visited from out of town for snow tubing with two young children and we were so happy with our experience.  The main reason why we had such a great experience was because of the staff, especially Tony.  He went out of his way to help and accommodate us.  He was friendly and had a warm and welcoming personality.  Although our visit was short because the kids were not keen on the cold weather, we would definitely plan a visit back when they get a little older. I am not even sure where to start - this place is mind blowing.  It's like a hidden oasis nestled in the mountains above Fort Collins.   We spend a couple days there every month hiking, fishing, playing disc golf, and just enjoying the relaxing atmosphere and stunning beauty everywhere.   It's so close to Fort Collins we sometimes do a day trip but often spend the night - they have these cool little cabins with wood burning fireplaces.  This month we went up again to go tubing - they have 12 tube hills and a powered lift to take you to the top.  How cool!!!We found this spot two years ago when we were looking for a wedding venue.  Wow - once we saw it we stopped looking.  Everyone who attended the wedding said it was the best venue they had ever been too.   Getting married with the rivers, ponds, mountains, valleys, etc in the background - it's a day we'll never forget.   Now it's our new home away from home.  We often stop by to say hi and have a quick bite to eat and some drinks or to just stroll around the ponds, say hi to the horses, and sit around the bonfire.   If your looking for something fun to do take the quick drive up to Beaver Meadows - you won't be sorry. My husband and I were married here back in March and I could not have asked for a better venue or more accommodating staff. I was blown away by how easy all of Beaver Meadows' staff were to work with and how pleasant they all were during every interaction. From the tasting event to the accommodations and, of course, the beautiful event itself, everything went great. We received so many compliments on everything! My family and friends can be a lot to handle, and so I was a little worried that rowdiness would be an issue. Though my family and friends got pretty drunk and were very rambunctious, the staff was not at all phased and on the contrary, went above and beyond in making sure I didn't stress about that and that they would take care of everything. When there was a request, I never had to worry if someone was taking care of it. I only ever had to mention things once and it was done! A couple things that could be improved upon: the hospitality in the cabins was underwhelming. No warm welcome there and most of my family and friends were lucky to have adequate supplies (cups, utensils, etc.). Also, we were constantly hunting for more coffee. We all stayed several days and there was no resetting of the rooms or restocking of any items during our stay. Another note for future wedding parties: don't make the little log shelter home to your gifts and guest book, unless there is adequate signage. No one from my guest party was instructed of where these items were and therefore only a handful of people were able to sign my book. Overall, lovely experience and I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable wedding day or other occasion! More...

This was BY FAR the most amazingly beautiful site to have the wedding of my dreams!!! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, the reception hall is already gorgeous, hardly any decor was needed. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, especially Kathy and Joe with the wedding staff! We had so much fun having a "weekend" wedding with family and friends. Everything you could possibly need was right on site. A little something for everyone, fishing, horseshoes, paddle boats. Horseback riding the day before the wedding was the PERFECT way to relax and share some special time with my daughter. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. It was the best day of my life, so much more than I ever could have dreamed! Thank you Beaver Meadows for helping make some wonderful memories and helping to bring our fairy tale to life!

I can't say anything bad about Beaver Meadows. My fiancé and I visited for a camping trip late May, we braved the cold and rain, and pitched our tent, to only get down poured on with sleet and unbearable temperatures. We were pretty hungry when we were done setting up so we headed down to the restaurant. While eating some yummy fare and drinks, Scott who is the property manager I believe came over offering up the camper cabin so we could enjoy our stay without getting hypothermia :( the service at Beaver Meadows goes beyond your typical service, they are so friendly and want to make sure your visit is great in every way possible. I haven't even gotten to the amazing views and grounds Beaver Meadows has to offer:) we hiked the river trail, which was very cool as most of the hike is made of wooden bridges places over the river. Very picturesque! And I can  only imagine with the wild flowers that will bloom in the summer making it more beautiful---- all in all this amazing haven exceeds my expectations in every way! We will be visiting this summer, without a doubt! More...

We got married on October 18th and it was beautiful. Beaver Meadows team was great to me and my entire family. The reason why I picked Beaver Meadows was because there was no time limit; we had the entire weekend to ourselves. I recommend this place if you are looking for a not so far away destination wedding. One thing that I would say is that some of the rooms weren't very clean, like they hadn't been vacuumed in years. If you're looking for a breath-taking BEAUTIFUL place to get married in Northern Colorado, you will not find a place like Beaver Meadows! Our wedding was held on Saturday, August 2nd. We were lucky enough to have what a local RFL's man called "the greenest I've seen it in all of my 65 years here!" It was nothing short of amazing and Beaver Meadows took care of everything they said they would. Here are a few tips and some feedback on certain items:

Date – Once you’re ready to use Beaver Meadows, do not hesitate to get it booked. We had a ‘soft hold’ on our wedding and when we came back to them in 10 days, we had very limited options of other dates that were available. It books up fast, so give yourself the time you need if you are planning on a specific season.

Lodging - Be sure that you have ALL of the rooms reserved for your wedding guests. We had a slight miscommunication with some of our rooms and were four rooms short of having the entire venue for our wedding to ourselves. Also, if you will have a lot of people there and not enough rooms (and if camping is not an option), be sure to reserve some rooms at the 'Other Lodging' places mentioned on the BM website. When we decided to do this about four months before the wedding, most of the rooms at other places were already sold out.

Details - Be sure to have your list of questions ready as soon as you can. As many details, as you can work out ahead of time, the better off you'll be. Up at Beaver Meadows, the cell service is pretty limited and responses to emails and phone calls was not always as quick as I had hoped but Pam & David were both very helpful and eager to get us taken care of. All of our questions were answered at some point but to relieve some of the stress that comes the week before your wedding, it is best to have all those details worked out.

Food - We heard some conflicting comments about the food. We made three visits to Beaver Meadows before our wedding, and made sure to eat at the restaurant

I wanted to share my extraordinary experience with Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch. I celebrated my 50th birthday along with my 30th wedding anniversary celebration 9/28/13. I wanted a venue that really depicted me and my husband's love of nature and simplicity, and Beaver Meadows was the perfect fit. My guests enjoyed the on-site accommodations along with a pre-party mingle at the JP Family Cabin. The staff was extremely professional, helpful and courteous... they even set up additional seating and tables in the cabin for the pre-party mingle...not to mention the delivery of a keg of beer! We arrived the day before the event to decorate with my personal touches. The tables, table cloths, chairs and buffet service were already set up per my pre-party meeting specifications. The staff was available to help with providing flower vases, candle holders and any other preparations. My guests enjoyed the on-site fishing, hiking and even horseback riding prior to the party that evening. The staff even set up a photo booth with props. The resort catered everything! The appetizers included a wonderful baked brie with apricot glaze. The brie was served on a beautiful slab that was heated, gooey and wonderful! We were all able to watch the "Pit Master" prepare and cut the whole pig for service. Witnessing a whole pig being served is something not many get to experience. The staff constantly circulated to ensure wine glasses were filled and guests were kept happy. Dinner was a huge hit with my guests, roasted pig, baked potato bar with all the fixings, wonderful baked beans with bacon and onions, homemade mac & cheese, seasonal roasted veggies, fresh garden salad and corn bread. Everything fresh, warm and delicious. The crowning jewel, a huge bon fire with a gourmet s'mores bar! The resort had the fire roaring and even provided willow roasting sticks! The most memorable party of my life as well as my guests! Thank you Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch! Kathleen XXOO More...

We stayed at Beaver Meadows as tent campers. A ways up the road past the main lodge, there are some tent sites that are pretty well wooded. The fire ban was just lifted before we arrived, so I was happy that we could buy firewood at the lodge. The last site, the one we stayed at, borders a nice trail that goes back quite a ways through a couple of stream crossings. There weren't very many people back there which was nice...just a couple of walkers and mountain bikers, and we had our dogs with us. They are very cool about dogs...they are allowed to be off leash if they are obedient. Those who were present at the front desk were genuinely nice people, which made the experience that much better. We will be back. More...

As the parents of the bride, and living in South Dakota.....I was SO afraid that getting everything taken care of and all the plans commuinicated and into place was going to be next to impossible! NOTHING could be further from the truth! We had one visit to the resort, met them all one time, took a little tour, and fell in love! ANYTIME I called with a concern, our contact was SO VERY helpful! She made some wonderful suggestions that went well with our daughters 'dream wedding' ideas, and the day prior to the wedding when we got there, everything just seemed to fall into place! They were available to help with ALL the little details that made it so beautiful!! And all the things that the Bride's family usually has to worry about.......THEY took care of most of it for us and allowed us time to visit with family and guest and just enjoy the beauty of the resort! Beaver Meadow was an amazing venue. They were so flexible with all the little weird things we wanted to have at our wedding (including a couch for the bridal party to sit on, which was the groom's request). It was gorgeous and perfectly fit what we wanted — a beautiful setting that wasn't too formal (though it could have been more formal, it just wasn't what we wanted) and a great place for all our family and friends, most of whom came from out of state, to spend the weekend. Everyone loved it and had a great time.
The one area I would look for improvement was in the communication between us and the organizers. I think they were in transition, with Pam taking over all wedding stuff from Linda, but as we had originally met with Linda, we were using her as our contact for most things, until Pam started taking over. That was a bit difficult, though, because it seemed some things were lost in the transition, and I wasn't ever entirely sure who I was supposed to talk to. If they get that kink worked out and have, for the most part, only one point of contact for couples, I can't say I could complain about anything else. The staff was all so wonderful and accommodating.

The minute we arrived at Beaver Meadows, we knew we had found the perfect place for our wedding. Linda and the rest of the staff immediately made us feel at home and wanted to work with us to create the wedding of our dreams.

One of our top priorities was finding a venue that was dog friendly. Not only is Beaver Meadows a great place for people, our 10 yr old lab was right at home! Several of our guests brought their dogs as well, so this made the occasion awesome for our whole family. We had an early summer wedding, so the weather and wet conditions made us move our ceremony to another location onsite, but they kept us updated many times so we were aware of the situation. Our guests had no issues booking lodging and countless people commented to us about how wonderful the Beaver Meadows staff and facility were during their stay. Everyone we worked with went out of their way to help us create amazing memories in the days leading up to our wedding including our rehearsal day, smores by the bonfire and activities keeping people busy during the down time. We had LOTS of kids of all ages and all the families had tons of choices for activities. The food at our wedding and at the restaurant was wonderful. The value of of the services provided by Beaver Meadows is outstanding.

We were honored to have our special day in such a special place. We recommend Beaver Meadows to anyone looking for a mountain getaway or place to celebrate. What a perfect Colorado gem during any season for any occasion.

My wedding was in 2003 and family members still like to comment on how lovely our choice of location for a wedding. Many guest were from out of state and they love to tell us how much they loved Beaver Meadows.
We also inspired a friend to have his wedding a Beaver Meadows.
Staff was friendly and easy to work with and made our day special!

Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch is truly a wonderful place to visit. Lodgeing is first class, and conference facilities are well suited for meetings. Staff is professional, and food is great. Truly an excellent deal, and a hidden gem in the Colorado Rockies. I hope to have my family and company visit again soon. More...
