I went to Beaubien Bodyworks to receive a massage and a facial. My massage therapist was Bryn - it was one of the best massages I have ever received! She focused on the areas of my body that needed the work most - it was not a 'cookie cutter' massage - it felt totally tailored to me. I am SO thrilled to finally have found a massage therapist that I will go back to time and time again. The space is lovely, and I really appreciate the commitment to cleaner products. hit it or quit it: hit it and thank me later.snapshot: a well appointed and staffed holistic spa in downtown grand rapids that focuses on massage but also offers other services, these guys know their massages. full review: you walk up to a small unit off a main road (next door to Squibb, bonus!) that's almost downtown.  you're greeted by good a clean contemporary store front; parking can be had on the street or in back.  walking in you'll be welcomed with typical but good massage spa fare (diffuser, plants, soft lighting meditation music, etc.).  i'm not mad at it.  they have a few chairs off to the right where people get their hurr did.  the menu of services is quite expansive; prices are competitive.  i come here for massages and massages only.  however, they have lots of other things like hair cuts and facials that i'm sure people find useful but isn't for me.  most importantly these guys know how to give a good massage.  you can get the usual spread here but you can also get other things like ashiatsu.  now medical massage is not expressly offered here, BUT, the masseuses are knowledgeable enough to give you a similar effect.  i have paid for a one hour deep tissue and received a massage that was tailored to my tastes on multiple occasions; this includes elements of thai and ashiatsu thrown in (the stretch hurts SO good).  they have a good deep bench of staff and great hours so i can almost always get in no matter the notice.  i am now a 'member', not a true membership plan per se.  i pay whatever i want a month (in my case 90 bucks) that goes towards any service and i'm rewarded with a 10% discount on said services.  this covers a one hour deep tissue plus tip for me.  if i go again that month, i still get the discount.  overall i'm very happy with Beaubien due to their convenient location, flexibility to work around my busy schedule that stems from their staff and schedule, and of course their great quality and variety of massages; the appealing ambience is the cherry on top.  their prices are competitive with the area and the monthly payment helps tip that in Beaubien's favor.  get relaxed here and tell 'em Rizvi sent ya!  nothing will happen but i'm making it a thing.  like 'fetch'. This is a wonderful salon located on Wealthy Street in the East Hills neighborhood. I have received several hair services from Tara and they have been excellent! Tara is friendly and knowledgeable. This is a PRENATAL massage is a must!! They have the most comfortable prenatal in town. The massage was awesome and she was very attune to my needs. Everyone was really friendly. I went for the first time to Beaubien Bodyworks last week. I received a massage from Denine and it was absolutely amazing! Seriously, probably one of the best massages I've ever received and I get quite a few. I had very bad knots throughout my back and within an hour she was able to work them right out. No joke, I was in serious pain for several weeks before going and the pain was no longer there the following day! The atmosphere is very comfortable, relaxing and calm. I'm definitely planning on going back. They also make you feel very welcomed with great customer service, which I feel is hard to find these days. It was my first time going through Beaubien Bodyworks for a massage. And I can't say enough great things about them! I received the most incredible massage from Dailey Crowell. And I highly recommend her! It's hard to find a great massage therapist who knows exactly what you need and the pressure you need. I like medium-hard pressure and she definitely delivered.
