Simply amazing - ambient, food, service. Been here twice. Today for brunch 7 of us. Ordered a bunch of tapas and the paella for share. Highly recommend the octopus, crab cake, paella, and pastrami sandwich (even the fries were perfect). Kudos to the chef (one man show for brunch) More...

Highly recommend this place- kind of casually came across Bazar and we devoured everything they served us. Wished they had non-alcoholic beer - at the time they had run out. Other than that- a good bet.

A little expensive, but a great place for food. Their Truffle hummus with pita is one of the best hummus I had in the recent past. Jumbo crab cake portion was tiny, but it was delicious. Creme brulee was just ok. I went there on a Saturday afternoon, but there were not too many people and so it wasn't noisy. Ambience was great too. More...

We came here for a friends gathering- mostly looking for sangria and something that could pair with the drink. We order a cheese/meat plate and it was surprisingly huge. It says on the menu it was meant for 2 people but 4 of us felt full afterwards. Really good quality of prosciutto and cheese, they also have some fig jam, fruits that I think is smartly matched with the wine. I'd come back second time for other tapas. More...

Hidden gem. Mikael and Elena serve a well-rounded, late-night menu in this cavernous, romantically-lit spot. Emotionally and aesthetically it's cozy and delightful. Solid and wildly affordable wine list (especially considering the fancy Flatiron address.) These are the sorts of places I don't want to disappear from New York, Manhattan particularly. More...

After going to Spain this year, I have been searching for something close to the delicious Iberian ham I had there. I think this will be the closest thing to it! We started with some cured meats, the beef and ham. For $22, it actually was a decent amount of meat. The beef was okay, but the ham definitely hit the spot and satisfied some of my craving. For our entree, we both decided to share a paella. The portion was huge and definitely could feed more than 2 people. It was a bit bland, but had SO much seafood in it compared to other places I've tried in the city. I think for $65, it's pretty reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. More...

My husband took me here for my birthday and I cant believe how great it was. Dimly lit, romantic and hospitable staff. Combine that with excellent food and drinks (the scallops and Bazar colada are personal faves) and you have an exceptional experience. We used a voucher and there wasn't a shred of judgement involved. A really quaint restaurant with exceptional flavors and service. More...

Great dinner spot! All the food was amazing and spot on. We ordered the fig and frico salad, seared ahi tuna, and the char-grilled octopus which totaled around $33 after tip and tax. Definitely got me pretty filled up. I will one downside is it's usually really busy so it's sometimes hard to get a hold of the server. More...

Came here on a weeknight for dinner, drinks and some apps.My friend and I both tried two different types of drinks, and didn't like either since they were way too sweet. We may have just unintentionally chosen some of the worse drinks on the menu, but the waitress was pretty clueless when it came to items on the menu, so we just went based off the descriptions. For food we had-- truffle hummus: this was good but the hummus itself wasn't great. It was masked by the flavor of the truffle oil which definitely made it better - chicken skewers: these were good, nothing special though. They were slightly sweeter than I was expecting - basil linguine: I wasn't expecting much out of this simple dish, but it was delicious and packed with flavor! - chocolate lava cake: this was delicious but how could it not be. Portion was on the smaller side but it was so rich that my friend and I couldn't even finish it. Good amount of options and nice ambiance - I'd recommend stopping by More...

I'm happily surprised about this little gem right next to my work place! I've been passing this place and never really gave it a thought until my coworker and I couldn't find a restaurant nearby without a wait on Saturday. Anyways, they have 50% off oysters during their happy hour! I'd definitely come back here again, but the only thing I didn't like was that they only had like 1 waitress and 1 busboy and a hostess.. and the place was kinda packed, hence our service being quite slow and having to flag down the waitress each time. Octopus ($19)-5/5 I was expecting a disappointing dish based on someone else's review, but I was so wrong. I was so pleased with this dish. I think the octopus was grilled nicely (not too hard or burnt) and remained juicy on the inside. The combination of octopus, tomatoes, olives, capers, and celeriac purée was delicious. PEI Steamed Mussels ($15)- 4.5/5 This was my second favorite dish from here. And it's mussels with shallots, wild mushrooms, garlic, rosemary and white wine sauce. The rosemary is really fragrant and makes it even more lovely. The white wine sauce is delicious too and I even soaked my bread into it and it was heavenly. The mussels were also really fresh too. Crab Cake Benedict ($21)-4/5 These tasted like your typical crab cake benedict and came with home fries and a salad. Maybe the crab cake could have a little bit more flavor (a pinch of salt and pepper), but still good enough to satisfy me. The portion is also a little more on the smaller side especially the crab cake itself. For the price- it's a bit expensive. Pomme Frites ($8)-2/5 I didn't like these at all. They were too burnt and I honestly prefer McDonald's fries over these, unfortunately. The dipping sauce was decent though, it's not spicy. More...

Tasty food. Loud ambiance like a bar. Drinks are a bit pricey ($15-$18 per alcoholic drink on average). Would try to take advantage of the happy hour as much as you can. Would recommend:-the basil pesto pasta with steak (so tender and good!)-the pork belly over Brussels sprouts (pork belly is crispy and balance of fatty/lean meat)-the hummus with pita bread (had to ask for more pita bread) The table also liked the branzino (spelling? Fish) and also the octopus. I'm not much of a seafood person but people seemed to like it they ordered multiple orders of it.For dessert-creme brûlée More...

Really great food and the restaurant is very nice/hip. What is great about the menu is that you can order several items and share them. I think the waitress had her hands full as it took a long time, but it was a Saturday night so it's expected and luckily we weren't in a hurry. Don't plan on having intimate conversations, energy is high and music is loud. Majority of patrons were 20 and 30 year olds. Overall a good experience. Really great spot for groups because it's a big spot. (think it's in a non popular brunch place like soho, there are just less ppl in the area - meaning no reservation and no wait!!!!)- burger: delicious!! I could have this burger every Saturday - forever! Perfection in taste. Seasoning. Burger science ratio of patty and bread. Also the fries were so freaking crispy!!!!!!- garlic shrimp: very tasty. 6 pieces lol and 4 pcs of bread? Felt like they could have at least had 2 more pieces of bread? - tomato egg shashuka: bit underwhelming. Egg was bit too runny. Saw some clear egg whites More...
