I'm happy to recommend getting a massage from Bayside Massage Therapy. Today I had my first appointment and it was great. The scheduling experience was easy and they had good availability . The masseuse showed up at my home right on time and set up quickly. She did a great job responding to the issues that I presented--I was rear-ended and have neck/back pain. For the past few weeks I've been dealing with a very sore, stiff neck limiting my range of motion.  I had a deep tissue massage but there was no focus or attention to my problem area. Maria is fabulous. She came to my house yesterday and gave me an incredible massage. She was very in-tune with my body and managed to find all the knots and tightness in my body. I turned 39 years-old the other week and decided to treat myself to a B-day massage. After all, I've earned it. Plus, I find that my body gets more and more sore with each year. I did a Yelp search for Marin County-based massage therapists and stumbled upon Bayside Massage Therapy. They had a 5-star rating + they were offering a great introductory Yelp Deal (one-hour massage for just $75)! This sounded almost too good to be true. Fortunately for me, Maria (the owner) is the real deal. I reached out to her about availability, and she got back to me right away.The awesome thing about Bayside Massage Therapy is that they come to YOU. Yes, a masseuse who makes house-calls. So there's no need to drive in traffic or look around for parking, or sit in an awkward spa waiting room. Maria brings her massage studio to you. That amenity alone will already will put your mind and body at ease.As for the massage, it was A-mazing! Maria was totally in tune with the aches and pains of my little ol' body. She essentially worked through the knots in my back, arms, and legs like bubble-wrap. Throughout the session, Maria was super sweet and attentive. She was communicative without being overly-chatty (which I greatly appreciated). I don't know what it is about some massage therapists - they just seem to want to talk all the time. To me, this kind of defeats the purpose of relaxing.Long story short, Maria was a total pro. She worked wonders on me. And this was the best physical investment I've made on myself in a long time. Maria is a miracle worker!  First of all, she is so considerate.  I had bought a deal for an hour massage for $75 and forgot about it.  Maria emailed me to remind me about the deal I purchased and to offer her availability.  I ended up getting an appointment for that same weekend. Maria was prompt and brought everything needed for the massage...including the most comfortable sheets on the table.  She offered lotion or oil for the massage and I appreciated the choice. Now on to the massage itself... it was probably the best I've ever had.  I like a lot of pressure and Maria did not disappoint.  She found and targeted the areas that were most tense without me having to tell her and REALLY worked the tension out.  She checked in often to make sure everything was to my liking.  I was in heaven.  She also went the full hour, which is rare. The comfort of being in my own apartment with my own music was amazing and Maria ' s friendly personality was the cherry on top. Fantastic service! Maria is so wonderful and really knows what she's doing. I was 5 months pregnant and blew my back out and Maria came and saved the day.
