Good food. Very authentic looking inside. Beer selection is mostly German. So dont expect anything much else. The server was great. She knew everything on the menu and took the time to answer all our questions. I ordered based on her recommendation. The food was delicious. I'll definitely be back for more. More...

This place was amazing. The service was probably the best I've had, the food was incredible and the beer was tasty. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something outside the normal.

I love this place. The atmosphere, the beer, the service! It is great! I discovered that bratwurst is not really my thing, but this is definitely authentic bratwurst. The boot alone is worthy of 5 stars and the schnitzel is delicious. Come here! If you love German food, this is your place! More...

Sometimes it can be risky trying a local restaurant but in this case it was well worth it. It was late afternoon on a Sunday so it wasn't very busy. I am told it can get pretty busy during peak meal hours because they only have one cook. The server was awesome from the time we arrived until.we left. She was very polite and attentive which added to the experience. The food was spectacular. The menu is pretty much the types of dishes you would expect from a German restaurant, with a few extras thrown in. The difference is that they have their own particular twist to the recipes and use no pre-prepared foods. Everything is cooked to order. They have a wide selection of German beers on draft, as well as white and red wines. Exceptional food, great service, and a pleasant environment make it a must if you are travelling through the area. Loved it! Small and romantic with authentic German Cuisine. Excellent wine and beer selections. The chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce and spatzel were excellent. Our waiter Jason knew the menu well, was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our dinner visit. Planning to return on our next visit to Asheville. More...

The food was actually good. The service was very slow, but they comped my alcohol. I enjoyed the quaint decor. It truly feels like a small German Alpine cabin. I had the Jager Schnitzel and the portion was ample. The German red cabbage is very good and the potato salad is to die for. The prices seem a little high but they have cornered the market on Bavarian Dinning in Asheville. All in all I recommend trying this place out for yourself. More...

Very quaint and excellent service and food. Tried the homemade sausages and were delicious! This building has been here since I was
little and many restaurants have occupied. Visit and enjoy. More...

Excellent customer service and amazingly delicious authentic German food! I drove in from out of town and needless to say had a rough day but the wait staff were very welcoming and the food was top notch. The atmosphere is very cool too, and makes you feel like you're actually eating in a German log cabin in the woods. Highly recommend, even if prices are a bit high. More...

We bought some of the house made sausages. Delicious! And they have sausage that is totally grain free, which is great for me on a personal level. :)

The staff were super helpful and friendly.

The restaurant is adorable with all its Bavarian decor. Fun place for dining!
