Skeptical after buying 3 smallish cupcakes for $12. Brought them home to find cakes so moist they had a truffle like consistency, and expertly made buttercream and meringue frosting that was rich, light, and not too sweet. Definitely worth checking out.

We ordered cupcakes for our wedding and they were out of this world! Guests were blown away by the Strawberry Basil and Maple Blueberry flavors! The Double Chocolate and Pumpkin Spice were also amazing! We would recommend these cupcakes to anyone for any occasion! Honestly some of THE best cupcakes, if not THE best cupcake I have ever had! They delivered to a brewery we were at to surprise my husband for his 35th birthday. We got the chocolate espresso and the cookie dough cupcakes and they were AMAZING.

When I was diagnosed with celiac disease, my dad tried a gluten free pizza and then told me that he felt very sorry for me (he hated it. ) I knew I needed gluten free dessert for my wedding, but also wanted my guests to enjoy it as well, so I had my Dad be the taste tester. He tried a few different bakeries in southern Maine that offered gluten free, and when he decided on Love Kupcakes he could not stop talking about them! When I finally tried a cupcake at my reception I understood why he was so excited, they were AMAZING! They were the perfect texture and the buttercream icing was fantastic and tasted homemade. These cupcakes are the best I have ever had I really love the Carrot Cake with Confetti frosting. I actually like the whole cupcake because they even make the frosting not too sweet and it is 100% perfectly Made. If you have not had one of these delicious treats yet you must go and give them a taste you will suddenly know what I have been talking about and what you have been missing. I am so glad I got a chance to try them when they visited us at USM in Portland. Love everything about Love Kupcakes. Their customer service is excellent! Every time I chatted with Debbie I felt like I was talking to a friend who cared about the event I was planning. Their cupcakes are creative, delicious and beautiful! Unbelievable flavor combinations. Love Kupcakes were a huge part of my excitement for my wedding day! I knew early on that I wanted gluten free cupcakes at my wedding, and had already experienced the quality of Love Kupcakes through their food truck. When I contacted Debbie about what our options would be, she was quick to respond and very helpful. I think I emailed her back and forth with probably 1,000 different questions about a year before the actual date. When it came time to do a tasting, we were allowed to create and request our own flavor combinations to have exactly what we wanted. The headbaker did not disappoint and I was pleased to have some input and control over something so fun and festive. I told everyone who was coming to the wedding about how to make sure to grab as many of them as they could and try all the flavors we had. I got a ton of compliments regarding the quality and felt good about knowing a large portion of the ingredients used to make these delicious treats! More...

Love Kupcakes stepped in 1 month before our wedding when our dessert plan unexpectedly fell through. They were extremely professional and accommodating! They even delivered to our site over an hour away! Not to mention they made the most amazing cupcakes, whoopee pies, cookies, and cutting cake on the planet!! Ordered three dozen strawberry shortcake ( my wife's favorite) for our engagement party and each and everyone was devoured and our guests kept asking where I got them from. Last week when the opportunity came to order cupcakes for a friends engagement party I knew exactly where to turn. The carrot cake, double vanilla, strawberry shortcake and maple-pecan proved excellent choices. They're kupcakes (:D) are amazing no matter the flavor that you choose, and you can really taste the difference between the typical cupcakes you can find anywhere else and LK's amazing all natural kupcakes. The difference is real and you can taste it and it tastes amazing!

My favorite part about them is that they make gluten free and vegan kupcakes that literally taste no different--or even better!--then their regular kupcakes! It's like magic! Plus, they're super experimental and are willing to take on any challenge when it comes to new flavor combinations and catering to specific needs!

Their customer service is impeccable and they're doing their part to promote local businesses by buying local. Truly a great business from top to bottom.

I love that they're all-natural, they have tons of gluten-free options (people's eyes light up if you have a dessert they can eat! ), and the people there at the Public Market are really great! These are the best cupcakes ever! I'm a long time cupcake lover and have had cupcakes from all over the U.S. Nothing comes close to these cupcakes! I'm working on trying every flavor. Each flavor is better than the next. I don't know how they do it. Perhaps it's the local all natural ingredients. I feel so lucky to be near such a special business. Holy cow. These guys are saviors! My wife and I came from pittsburgh to Portland with our wedding cake in a car. Everything was perfect until we parked the car. .. flowers fell off the cake and the worst part was the cake slide off like a disc herniation. We had three days to get a cake made and to look good enough for our wedding and wow they did an absolutely amazing job. Not only were they unbelievably friendly, but they were equally efficient.
