I love !!!! This place !!! Everyone is super friendly and it's such a behind the scenes environment. there has not been a single time where I didn't receive 10/10 customer service. AND THERES VEGAN OPTIONS!! Like, actual vegan options, none of that regular vanilla with no frosting type of thing. Their cupcakes are huge and def worth the price. Wow! What a delicious and delectable assortment of cupcake flavors from which to choose! They are beautiful, too!! I ordered a variety for a friend's baby shower, and they did not disappoint. There are the usual favorites like chocolate, chocolate raspberry or marble, and then there are creative combinations like blood orange, chocolate peanut butter, and tres leches - all are delicious!! I am so happy that I hired Babycakes to do my wedding cake. They have a specialty flavor called "Blood Orange" that was to die for. I also showed them some pictures of what I hoped the cake would look like and they replicated it exactly like the photo! Super happy this sweet spot landed not too far from home!I've been craving anything Tres Leches, and finally stopped into grab 2, 1 for me and 1 for my daughter. I got the jumbo ones, and it was on $4!!!Haven't tried it yet, but it certainly is pretty. The girl who helped me was very friendly, theh had a great selection, and storefront parking. These were the best cupcakes I've ever had in my life and they are gigantic! I tell people they look more like muffins. The flavor options were plentiful and all my guests were super happy. They were moist and still tasted great a few days after. They deliver and set them up at my venue just how I asked. I didn't know exceptly what I wanted in terms of decor and the owner was nice enough to show me photos of things they have done before which was very helpful. I would return there for any occasion or just stop by for a cupcake or two for the road. Update 8/31/19Maid my second order with Babycakes for my niece's birthday. This was my first time at this location. It's just the next street over from my grandmas house, so I will be coming back. My family and tried the chocoholic, the tres leches cupcake, the black bottom, the cinnamon cookie, and the vegan brownie .They were all good! The cupcakes always taste fresh and decadent. We bought a Vegan cake from Babycakes for our child's birthday and it was great. We are not Vegans, but because of egg allergies and some lactose intolerance on my part we haven't been able to get a birthday cake that she could eat for a long time. The place is cute and small. Perfect for a place right on the beach or next to the beach. The staff are nice and work well. The food is good though I think the cupcakes are just a little expensive for something cute, small, and on the beach like that. If they'd drop the price by a dollar it'd be perfect. The coffee is excellent too. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of their use of space. They have too much open space behind the counter and unless you are just buying something and immediately leaving they don't have enough space on the customer's side of the counter. I think I wouldn't have noticed or registered this fact if they had filled the area behind the counter more, but it just felt like they were cramping the customers and had more than comfortable room for their employees.
