Loved this brunch place. The atmosphere was fun. It reminded me of places in Canada. I had their buiscuit with cheese and sausage and egg and gravy and it was amazing. I had previously bought the home made Jam in a large container and it was Delicious! That plastic receptacle included some extra seeds according to Ashly. This is a wonderful Brunch location, but wait times can get wild during their busy times. So, call ahead if you're under a time constraint! Their food is great for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. They serve some alcohol and their coffee is high quality. (I'll frequently visit JUST to buy coffee to go!)I recommend them highly, but not if you're in a hurry. What a beautiful surprise! Oklahoma has been a wonderful series of not so hidden gems and lovely folks everywhere we go, and this cafe is no exception. We got to sit near the front with beautiful window lighting, and a comfortable bench seating on one half. My friend ordered the French toast which comes with berries and honey cinnamon butter, and a delectable syrup. She said the French toast was so good by itself she almost didn’t try the butter but gave it a chance and it was like an explosion of flavors. Adding the syrup created a depth that is rarely seen especially at the price point here. The berries are incredibly fresh, I’ve not seen strawberries so red to the center in ages, and the blackberries were hardly tart at all! I chose the pumped up grilled cheese which they aren’t kidding, it is indeed Thick. The sourdough is lovely and not too crispy, the cheese with the pesto is this well blended combination and the bacon found a perfect level of crispy without ruining the texture. Little side note: they serve Maine root soda,Specifically including blueberry flavor which only one other restaurant in my Texas neighborhood seems to have, which was just another bonus point to this fantastic start of our day. 10/10. On par with the fancy brunch movement. Smack dab in the middle of the hipsterhood, Aurora welcomes your furry friends to their patio area. They have a decent menu selection. If the server suggests you sample something before you eat it, I suggest you take it. I did not expect the gravy to be semi-sweet, it was good, just not what I expected. While the food seems to be of decent quality, I could have done with slightly more of it for the price tag it comes with. It's good-it's just not my favorite. This is such a neat little place! A friend recommended it to me and my husband and I discovered they're dog friendly on their patio. We brought our critter with us and she had a great time meeting new people. They also have a small play area on the back for children or you can eat inside if you choose. We went on a Sunday for lunch. It was very busy with large groups. It did take a while for our food to arrive and for waters to be refilled; however, the food was delicious. I got the french toast anglaise with mixed berries. I didn't care for the alcoholic beverage I chose, but my husband's was tasty so we just swapped.
