I love this gym. I just started this week but I know I'm going to be consistent here. The HiiT is challenging for everyone! Beginners to the more advanced. I love the workouts, the motivation from our coaches, and how Robel pushes us to do our best but NEVER makes me feel bad about not being able to keep up. As someone whose out of shape, being encouraging is the most important thing when first starting off. It makes us want to keep coming back. I love the music that we listen to while working out, and the fact that it's more cheaper than other gyms around the area. The facility is super clean and cute and the women's bathroom has deodorant, floss, mouthwash lmao. The little things DO matter and I appreciate them. Huge space with great equipment and their classes are awesome as well. I would highly recommend their Boot Camp, which I have been attending for the last few months. There are so many wonderful things to say about Athletic Form. From the physical space, to the amazing trainers, to the community, to the people that come to workout, this place is truly more than just a gym. Robel and the team have created this beautiful space of strength, encouragement, inclusivity, diversity, culture, and community. I have gone to many different workout spaces in the Seattle area, but have never really experienced anything like Athletic Form. Everyday I look forward to working out here and attending one of their many classes. Whether it be Bootcamp, HIIT, GetFit Lab, strength and tone, student athlete sessions, or yoga there is something here for everyone. Started going to Athletic Form about a few weeks ago with a group of friends. I live a bit far from there but my experience has been so great so far. All classes make use of Athletic Form's ample space (think converted warehouse) and rely upon a wide variety of equipment. I just started regularly attending Bootcamp and GetFit Lab with an occasional Strength and Tone class during the week. The facility is top-notch and the trainers are, too (free lockers, showers, towels, etc. ). Classes are fun, never the same, and for people at any stage on their fitness journey. *Full Review is on Athletic Form's Yelp* After graduating college and being at a sedentary desk job 8+ hours a day, I gained a lot of weight. Shortly after I got really into compound lifting / body recomposition. I've gone through cuts and bulks along the way - squat and deadlift now at advanced weight x bw levels. It's been a year now and after the newbie gains died down, I found myself getting utterly tired of the monotony of going to the standard commercial gym (usually alone as I prefer to lift that way). While not looking for a full blown replacement simply because I enjoy the freedom of a 24 hour gym, I wanted somewhere supplemental but also somewhere that garnered a sense of community. I wanted to try a whole bunch of crossfit/functional training facilities before I invested in a home base so I snagged credits on ClassPass and got to experimenting. I already knew from photos Athletic Form would be my pick based on facility alone but it took me a few weeks to actually take class here. The first one I had was AbLab with Ryan and I felt immediately welcomed. I wouldn't push myself this hard at the gym alone and it was refreshing. My second class was FitLab that utterly kicked my ass - I loved it. You need to be humbled in fitness and realize how many more goals your body can squash. It is a group class so you won't get one-on-one attention, which should be understood - get personal training here for that! Tyler is a phenomenal coach - he takes time to help with not only form, but discusses function as well. I can't wait to progress here and leave more sweat on the turf. I can't tell you how much I appreciate my classmates gassing me up to do one more rep when I felt like giving up. Everyone needs that. So far I have taken AbLab and GetFitLab both several times because my schedule permits and they have all bee so fantastic. I got an unlimited month for November to help kick start my winter shred and to beat the gloomy days blues. I'm planning to take Bootcamp & HiiT this week and will have to report back on those. The facility is so high class and I also feel that way when I walk in due to the amazing service provided by the Owner and staff.
