Great people! Very friendly staff and excellent service. The very first time my friend, Chris, took me here to get a haircut (I had just moved to LA from Florida) the service I had, from something as simple as a men’s haircut, was something I had never experienced before! I had one person cutting my hair and another brushing off the cut hair from my forehead with a soft dry washcloth. Incredible. The haircut was phenomenal and their space is beautifully appointed! I would have expected to pay $100 or more for this level of service, expertise and quality, however, the bill was a mere $45! They’ve since raised their prices, by $5, to an even $50, for a senior men’s haircut, but I would pay double for the experience I got from them. My stylist was Ivy, i like how when i made the appointment i could choose who i want it with. Having never been here before i wasnt sure what to expect. I wanted a color change which required my hair to be bleached twice...i spent about 5 hours in there lol! Everyone was beyond kind, they offer free drinks and snacks. The assistants are such sweethearts, one of the girls that washed my hair gave my scalp a massage! And OMG my hair came out so much better than expected. It is pricey, for color it starts at 250 i believe, but it is so worth it to leave with healthy beautiful hair :) More...

This is a lovely salon - very light, clean and efficient. Located on the second floor of a shopping center in Koreatown you have the option of street parking or valet for $2. 50. My appointment began as soon as I checked in with the receptionist. I put on a robe and got my hair washed. The lady that washed my hair also cut it. If you have one, take a picture of what you want, they will definitely ask. This is also helpful since not everyone’s English is strong and I do not speak Korean. If you do not have a picture they will show you some so you can point and give a visual reference for what you’re looking for. I didn’t want anything extreme just a trim and all in all I am happy with the result. The total for the wash, cut, and style was $70 which tends to be about average for nicer salons these days. Excellent place to get a haircut. I have a lot of hair for a man and requires pretty exquisite skill and Sunny C was beyond capable and accommodating always. I went here once a month for over a year and only stopped due to a move out of state. The place is also beautiful and everyone is very friendly, price is definitely worth it considering you're in the heart of LA and the skill of the employees. Had such a great experience here!! All the staff are super courteous and made sure I was comfortable and happy at all times. There’s a bag check at the very beginning so you don’t have to deal with holding it the entire time, and a small changing room to put a frock on before the appointment. When I finally got sat down, I was offered snacks and water, which was refilled anytime it was empty. The entire atmosphere and experience is so smooth and the results are amazing! About 3 years ago I was on a search for the best salon for ombre/balayage hair coloring and since then I have been a loyal customer of Atelier by Tiffany. I was referred to Tiffany the head stylist/owner by my own sister. I made an appointment. Once you have made your appointment, you get a follow up text the day before your appointment reminding you the time and address. I thought this was very helpful and detail oriented. On the day of the appointment I was surprised by the crisp white clean interior of the salon along with how the front desk people greeted you and took your belongings for safe keeping. So far so good. All of the staff was very nice and professional. Now to the actual coloring and cut. Tiffany looked at my hair and assured me that I will be happy with the outcome. She took my ideas and ran with it. The salon uses top of the line products and I walked away with the very blond tipped ombre/balayage hair color. My hair was not damaged at all. She also gave me tips on how to maintain my hair color. First experience was superb! I even took my then fiance to Tiffany to fix his horrible haircut he had gotten somewhere else. She fixed it in time for our wedding. Tiffany is very experienced stylist who listens to your style idea but will make slight changes to suit your face shape. I have gone from very long hair to an asymmetric LOB to a straight bottom bob cut. It's very hard to find a stylist who is skilled in both cuts and coloring, but Tiffany does it all. I just did my eyebrows with Tiffany yesterday and when I got to work today no one even knew I had them done. It is so natural and really painless compared to other places I have been too. I would definitely recommend her to my friends. Also got my hair color done with her and everyone has commented how my hair looks great and it isn't damaged at all. Since I have switched to Tiffany my hair colors are more vibrant and I have less hair damage. I used to get hair damage treatment every time I had to redo my hair color but now I don't need to. This was my second time going to Atelier. I didn't have a good first time experience. Now they have an assistant with each hairdresser to whom you can speak in English & they would translate it in Korean to the hairdresser. I asked for Eugene. Her assistant was Habin who helped explain what I wanted and Eugene's response. I got a layer cut with bangs. It was my first time with bangs. I realized bangs don't suit me but the way my hair was cut by Eugene, I can easily put them on the sides. Eugene also told me since my hair is wavy, I do not require any styling. I just did my hair here at Atelier. My hair stylist was Eugene. She is a very expeperienced hair professional (over + 20 years). I am very happy with the result and definately want to recommend her to anyone who wants to get nice hair cut/ perm or hair coloring.
