I took my tween daughter here to see if someone could tame her very thick, curly hair. Holy cow, did Monique go above and beyond! Her precision cut made dd’s hair look amazing; she also took extra time to educate us both on how to properly care for this curly mane, which is so very different from my fine, barely wavy hair. It wasn’t a cheap cut, which is why it took me so long to take dd to a real salon - I mean, dd is 11 and it kinda hurts to spend more than $20 on a haircut. BUT it was 1000% worth the money because this isn’t just a haircut, it’s a new way of life for dd and her hair. The education we got was invaluable and now her hair can grow healthily and beautifully - and NOT be a huge mushroom cloud like it‘s been from every other cut we’ve had at the cheap places. Huge recommendation for Monique if you have curly hair. Or even if you don’t, because this girl knows her stuff. The salon is really cute inside. I went in for the very first time on a Sunday at 3pm. No one was at the reception desk. I walked in and took a seat. Shortly after, Katie stepped out of a room and warmly greeted me and introduced herself. It was my very first time to get a fascial, so I don't have another experience to compare with.  But, my experience with Katie was very relaxing and I did notice a difference with my face after and even two days after my fascial happened.  My complexion was brighter and refreshed. Mandy Hackett, the Master Esthetician, is the absolute best! Over the past year, there has been countless tips, product recommendations, and overall support in trying to get my skin to its absolute best. I have fallen in love with the Éminence product line. I found Ash Salon on one of the bridal sites and it was the best choice for my wedding.  Charlotte did my hair and makeup for the wedding and I couldn't have been happier.  She was so creative and willing to work with me when I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted.  I got so many compliments on her work.  Plus she was just a fun person to have around while we got ready.  Everyone at the Salon was so friendly and outgoing.  If I didn't live so far away it would be my new salon all the time.  You won't regret going with them. Flat out best hair salon ever. Praise the hair gods seriously. THEY LISTEN! My biggest concern was keeping my hair healthy and that was it. I always hate how hair looks after you get a haircut where it's very straight across the bottom, Ashley made sure  to tether it at the ends to make it look natural and grown out. Amazing salon in the heart of Haymarket! This is a very cool, upscale place. The space is decorated beautifully, sleek/fun look. The staff is friendly and they offer an array of beverages while you're there. On to the stylists: From looking at their social media accounts as well as the work I've seen during my visits, all the stylists are pretty incredible. The owner Ashley, who is fabulous, has put together a whole crew of other stylists who know their shit. I've been to Ash twice now and have seen Charlotte both times. She is one of the youngest stylists I have ever been to but I am not exaggerating when I say she has the work ethic and skills of someone who has been coloring and cutting hair for decades. Love Ash Salon!! Recommend 10000%. I’ve been going since they opened—great team all around! Francesca has been doing my hair (for years) and she has never disappointed me—whether I’ve gone red, blonde, back to natural or short, long, asymmetrical (and she styles while keeping my hair healthy). But I’ve seen what the other ladies have styled—and I would trust them all with my hair! This is the perfect salon. The store has the cutest aesthetic and the atmosphere is laid back and the stylists are all very friendly and personable! I always feel right at home when i'm in their hands. In the past I had a hard time trusting any stylist to cut/ color my hair because it always came out looking terrible and i'd have to hide my hair under hats for months on end until it grew out. But that is NOT the case for Ash Salon! I see Nikki and I will never see anyone else!
