I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Joey planned and executed two big events during my wedding weekend at The Parker and I can say, without question, that he and his team are everything someone would want in an event planner/decorator, and more. Our wedding was a week ago and we (and our parents) are still receiving tons of messages saying that our events were the best people had ever attended for a myriad of reasons. And I can say honestly, that I really didn't do any work. All I did was send Joey some photos I found online of what I liked and I had the most stress free engagement in history. When I would tell people that I didn't have any work to do and that I was relaxed they seriously looked utterly confused. It was stress free AND had an awesome final result, because I hired the right planner. Both for the planning and the actual day of.I said to Joey after the ceremony, "I can't believe so much goes into executing an event, it's almost like live theatre but more intense with TONS of details to keep track of." Turns out, Joey has a degree in....film production!  He really kept the energy going strong all night and it was truly what people were there for: A CELEBRATION. Joey is simply the BEST. Period!
We had a destination wedding (I came from Copenhagen, Denmark) and after we had picked our wedding location, we knew right away that we wanted to work with Joey and his team. Hiring Artisan was without a doubt the best decision we made in the wedding planning process.
We met with Joey a few times before the wedding and after every meeting we left with a good feeling knowing that Joey would make our wedding perfect with his eye for perfection. He always took time to answer our questions and reassure us (ME!) that everything would be absolutely beautiful on our wedding day. He promised that when I would see the reception area it would be everything I had dreamt of…and he did not disappoint! Joey. Oh Joey. I cannot rave enough about this man and his team. We worked with Joey for months before and the weekend of we worked with both Joey and Enrique. They are absolutely incredible. My husband and I got married in 6-11-16 at the Avalon. Joey was recommended to me at the beginning of our wedding process and other than our venue, he was the other best decision we made. He saw our vision before we did. It was absolutely stunning. When he showed up with my bridal bouquet I cried. It exceed all my wildest dreams. There aren't enough stars in the sky to truly reflect how grateful we are for Joey, Shannon, and the team at Artisan Events! Working with Artisan was hands down the best decision my husband and I made during the wedding planning process. From the very first meeting... to the breathtaking florals they provided, to that last dance of the night, and morning after brunch for our guests... everything ran so smoothly because of this team. Joey knew me instantly within our 30minute first meeting - he was able to take all the jumbled thoughts in my bridal brain and somehow channel them into a dream day filled with soft, classic romance my husband and I wanted. Shannon was incredibly professional, patient, and kind in her assistance. I don't know what we would've done without her! Artisan Events was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding. Joey is incredibly passionate about his work, we only hired Artisan Events for the flowers, not event planning or coordinating.
While my flowers were incredibly beautiful and Artisan was wonderful to work with leading up to my wedding. I feel as though I cannot justify the value of the product/service we received on the day of the wedding for the price we received.
My flowers arrived to the venue an hour later than we had asked them to be delivered. When the flowers were delivered, the bridal party flowers had been tossed in a basket- inconsistently labeled (many items with no label), my coordinator and bridesmaids were having to sort through the basket to figure out what was for who, which made for a bit of a stressful situation given they were already an hour late as it was. My bouquet was awesome, beautiful, but the peonies had gone limp and we had to pull 4 out of the bouquet before the ceremony. We noticed the limp flowers in photos. I can understand this happening post ceremony, but that is disappointing to happen so early.
For what we paid- I would have expected not only better service but closer attention paid. Wiring the peonies would have been an easy fix. I got the sense that they must have had multiple events that day which is perhaps why the day of experience wasn't what I expected. Again the end product with the exception of my bouquet was flawless and beautiful, but given that their prices are on the higher side I expected 100% satisfaction. More...

Joey and his team are incredible! My wedding was more beautiful than I had ever imagined. It's clear that theyve been doing this for a long time and they know exactly what theyre doing. I spoke with Joey pretty early in the planning process and we discussed my vision - theme, colors, ideas, etc. After that it was smooth sailing: we'd occasionally email with questions or ideas and as the date got closer we were more in contact regarding the details. Long overdue review. We used Joey and his Artisan Events team as both our wedding coordinator and our florist. Hiring Artisan Events was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning.  Initially I didn't think that I needed a day-of coordinator but luckily I found Joey and he made my dream wedding come true. His staff and himself were so patient and kind to me throughout the year long planning process. I asked a million questions and they always answered them promptly, thoroughly and with a smile. I felt like I was the only bride they were working with (which of course is not true) because of how much attention they gave me. He worked with us on what we wanted to achieve, adjusted as we went along, and gave his personal touch as well. With Joey, I just had to say a few things, show a few pictures, and he immediately understood the vision that me and my groom were trying to do for our wedding.  I felt in great hands and I absolutely LOVED the outcome of what he put together for our wedding day. The morning of my wedding, I woke up completely relaxed, and was relaxed the entire day because I knew that Joey had everything under control.  My guests afterwards commented on how professional the Artisan Events staff is, how they paid attention to all the big & small details such as providing our Best Man a glass of champagne at the end of his toast, to bustling my wedding dress for me, having everything run on time, but never made me and my groom feel rushed. He had the entire evening flow beautifully and I never once worried about it. I can't believe that it has taken me so long to write a review on Artisan, especially since I bring up how amazing Joey was at least twice a week. Please hire him and his team for everything. Joey helped me with every detail imaginable, he even recommended our officiant who was great. The planning process can be stressful and crazy but after our initial meeting with Joey, I knew we didn't have to worry. Our special day was perfect, not a strand out of place. There really are not enough glowing adjectives for me to describe how incredible Joey and his team were. The task of planning a large destination wedding and trying to do everything in one visit before the wedding day was slightly overwhelming, until we met with Joey. His creativity, confidence, incredible reputation and can do attitude entirely put us at ease and we knew we were in very capable hands. Everyone Joey recommended was a dream to work with, and I loved being referred to as one of "Joey's brides"! His reputation from his peers in the industry is unparalleled and everyone sings his praises. His handling of the flowers, music, décor, timeline and all major parts of the wedding made what could have been a very stressful process so much more enjoyable. He finds a perfect balance of listening to your wants and needs, proving fantastic suggestions and not just proving wonderful service, but catering it to the individual personality of his clients. On the actual weekend, he made the rehearsal quick, informative and painless, plus instantly won over my family from the grouchy little flower girl to my mom's. The day of the wedding, he had EVERY detail flawlessly executed, always seemed to be at my side to quietly guide us through the timeline while also giving us our space to enjoy each moment, and just kept the party rolling!One of my favorite moments of the entire day was when we were walking back down the aisle and Joey was waiting for us with cocktails in hand. I looked at my husband and he lost it and began to cry, which of course caused me to cry. We hired Joey and his team for wedding design (flowers, lighting, decor), wedding planning and day of coordination for our Viceroy Palm Springs wedding. Hiring them was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. I had a vague idea of what I wanted the wedding to look like, but had not thought about specifics. Joey did an amazing job of taking my general ideas and designing my dream wedding. What he created was beyond any of my expectations. We got married in Palm Springs  on 2/8/14 and we hired Joey and the Artisan team for every aesthetic detail of our wedding, including flowers. They handled everything from the table and chair rentals to the dance floor to the layout and flow. I worked with Joey and Brent on a corporate event held at the Parker on February 18th and I could not be happier with them. My wife Stacie and I were married at the Viceroy Palm Springs on May 14th and were blown away by the amazing flowers for the ceremony & reception, lighting and beautiful table settings. He is not cheap but you do get real value as when you see what he and is team deliver its worth every penny, you really do get what you pay for here.
