Our AC stopped working on one of the hottest days we’ve had this year. Our indoor temp was 88 and we slept with fans in the windows trying to stay cool.

I am WAY late on providing this 5 star review but my family and I returned from traveling over Memorial Day weekend and noticed our brand new construction house had a temperature of 76 but thermostat was set at 72. Blair and Brian made it a point to come over MEMORIAL weekend to get ‘er fixed up quickly. I had an entire HVAC replacement of a 19 year old system. All of Armors staff were courteous, informative and punctual. Upgraded everything as needed. Addressed issues with the old system. We had three estimates; Armor gave me a great product (Rheem), timely installation and no hassles. We don't feel like we overpaid, nor do we feel like we're dealing with a "shadetree" mechanic. Why were we so pleased? 1. They were on time. Not early, not late. On time. I walked outside, they were pulling up. 2. They were dressed like professionals. Neat, clean, shirts tucked in when appropriate. 3. They spoke like professionals. They carried on pleasant conversations with me and each other with ease; answering my silly questions like I was the most important person on earth. 4. They did not eat, drink, smoke or dip in or around my home. I did not find any snack trash, empty bottles or tobacco refuse. No one asked to use my bathroom. 5. They did not break a single branch or bud off of my plants and landscaping around the new unit install. I was happy my flowers survived! 6. I was asked every time they needed to do something permanent - where the air return was to go: "Was here or there better?" and consulted each step of the way through the install. Making sure I understood and agreed. There were no surprises, I like that. 7. At the end of the day, the only way you could tell they'd been there was the AC worked! They cleaned up! Took every scrap of trash (some was there beforehand I'm sure!), cardboard, packaging and the old unit! and carried it all away. I procrastinated, yet again. With the cold front coming in, we waited to get propane. When the propane company came out to install our propane tank, they had concerns about a leaky air conditioning unit affecting the stability of our furnace and suggested we call a specialist to make sure it was safe. After multiple calls, and being told that nobody could make it out until late next week, Armor saved the day and made it out to my house within the hour! Was super pleased with Armor heat and air. Found them just by googling. I had called several places but Armor was able to get to me the quickest. I had the absolute BEST experience with Armor. The techs are incredibly professional and go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. We called for an estimate for a full replacement and Travis was able to come out that day. The team ended up coming out to replace the whole thing on Tuesday! After working up in the attic for a bit and tracking down some insulation, they insisted on vacuuming up the mess without hesitation. I’ve never experienced this with any company. Wonderful experience! I called at 8:15 this morning with an air conditioner problem and Travis was at my house, had the part in the van, and had it fixed by noon! Other companies I tried couldn't give me a time, some not enough a specific day. Not only was Armor able to tell me when he would be there, but he was early. There are no words for how much we love Armor! After losing complete AC function on a Sunday, we called them Monday morning for an estimate on a new system. We figured it would be a few days before anyone could come out, but Blair showed up to our house an hour later! He looked over our system, gave us a thorough explanation of what we needed, and gave us several options to choose from. Never pushy, and always kind and considerate answering our questions with complete respect. We had a new unit installed less than 48 hours after our decision! We needed a new Furnace / AC. We shopped around and weren't happy with the quotes we received from the other guys. We were referred to Armor by some friends and couldn't have been happier. Armor worked with us on setting up the install time - and promptly arrived right when they said they would.  The work was completed in exactly the amount of time they said it would take AND was done in a very professional way. They even took the time to explain what and why they were doing things and were happy to answer any questions I had.The quality of work was top notch and we are very pleased with the new heat pump.  Again - we had some questions a few days after the install and we got same day resolution to our questions.  Pretty amazing customer service.I highly recommend giving them a call on any HVAC need you may have. I've used armor twice now and they've been able to answer my questions and came promptly both times! I was floored this morning when I called and they could come out the same day to add freon to our AC! It's getting to the hottest part of summer so I figured it'd be at least a day or two but Jamie came the same day.. and earlier than expected even! It's cool in our house again! Update 9-17-18: Once again Armor Heating and Air saved the day. Reached out to them last night with a few details regarding the issues my A/C Unit. Travis was out to the house early this morning to fix the issue. Huge thanks to Armor Heating and Air for being quick, efficient, and customer friendly. I will definitely use them again, but hopefully not too soon! ;) I called Armor yesterday about an issue with my air conditioner, and they were able to diagnose my issue just from the description of my issue. They came out today and refilled my Freon and did a quick tune-up on my air conditioner unit. I noticed an immediate difference in the cooling of my home. Hopefully this fix will help me notice an immediate difference in my electric bill as well. I will definitely use Armor again if I have any more issues, and would recommend them wholeheartedly. I purchased a yearly Maintenance Plan from Armor and they took the time to explain what I should be doing as an owner to keep my heating/air units in top condition. They discovered a part that was beginning to fail and recommended replacement. When the weather began to warm in late Spring they responded and discovered I needed Freon in one of my units. They were able to do the repair at less cost than if I had called on my home warranty and paid the $75 deductible. I am very pleased with their work and customer service! More...
