What do you love most about your job?
I love creating. Many people in this world want to make a living creating but few have the talent, knowledge and experience in the many fields required to make a living by creating. I love helping people turn a vision into reality. There is a feeling of making a difference when I see a client happy with what he or she has created.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Actually, my career has led me through several stages of working for companies and organizations. I did many jobs that required grinding out lifeless projects that lacked creativity. I started doing projects on the side for people with a vision. My side projects were creative outlets for me. When I did not have creative, artistic projects at my main job, I fulfilled the need to be creative with a few side projects. Those eventually grew to replace my office job.

There are many outstanding photographers and video production companies in Arizona. We have three differentiators that make us the best choice. First, we get it. Arizona Filmworks understands business, understands marketing, understands messaging and can help communicate your message in the most effective, most dynamic way. Second, our business model is patterned after Hollywood. We have resisted the temptation to build a beautiful studio and hire expensive staff and buy $100,000 of cameras and equipment. Those things are overhead and must be earning money on every project whether or not the project is shot in a studio. Arizona Filmworks hires the best freelancers and contractors (often the same film crews who work on feature films) to do a project. The right people for the right project. We only rent studios when we need to shoot in a studio. This approach keeps our costs minimal and makes our videos awesome and affordable. The third differentiator is that we care. We truly care about the success of our clients. We are committed to giving each client the very best and making their project awesome.
Web Design and Programming
We create awesome, small websites. We do not do WordPress, we actually program your website and either update it when needed or show you how easy it is to update. We program sites for our clients in order to maximize SEO and get you to the first page of Google.
Video Editing
We can take your video clips and craft them into a masterpiece. My last client looked at his new video and said, "I laughed. I cried. It moved me." We do video editing remotely and do it amazingly well. Easy and very affordable.
Video Production
We have created over 100 TV commercials and 1,000 Web videos for all kinds of businesses including Sprint, Walmart, GE, Boeing and the local one-person start-up. We do training videos, sales presentation videos, ads for Facebook, Kickstarter videos, music videos, etc. We do everything from script to screen and we love helping people.
