The desk clerk charged $50 to my credit card for each room (we had 2) for incidental expenses, even though there is no restaurant, room service, or premium TV, or phone on which to spend incidental money. I understand that these credit card holds are customary for motels/hotels for damage deposit or theft of towels/robes/etc. However, the credit card charges are typically canceled on the day the guest checks out. I saw on my credit card statement that these charges were still pending 4 days later, so I called Aqua Soleil to remind them to cancel the charges. The clerk said it typically takes 3 to 10 days for that to happen. This is the 11th day and the pending charges are still on my credit card. That is my only real complaint. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and shower was nice. The room decor is quite sparton, mid-century modern. Pool/spa looked inviting but we were only there to sleep for the night. More...

Very pleasant stay. Clean, beautiful suite. Comfortable bedding. At first I thought the bed was going to be too firm but I slept great actually. Good quality pillows. Soft towels. Roomy shower. The in-room pool was a bit too hot for my taste but I enjoyed a short time in it with the jets going. Very friendly staff. I would stay again More...

Enjoyable stay. Very clean, organized and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi’s were amazing and relaxing. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. The hotel is outfitted with a restaurant and bar, but during our stay was closed and vacant. That was the only downside to our wonderful weekend. We’re heading back in the Spring for another stay. My wife and I have found our desert oasis. More...

What a lovely expereince. We came here for our anniversary and I coudn't have been happier. The biggest seller was that they have an IN ROOM JACUZZI. Not a jetted spa, not a whirlpool tub, but a straight up full size jacuzzi. Ten people could easily get in here and party. It's in a segmented part of the room behind a sliding glass door and also had its own flatscreen. The room was really nice, updated, beautiful bathroom, super cozy bed. We were so happy. The one thing that was off was that there were no mirrors other than the bathroom mirror behind the sink. It was hard to get ready for the night but I worked it out. The pool area was super cute but we didnt actually go in. Random, but we saw a cute little owl on one of the boulders near the pool, that was fun!The people at the front desk were super cool. Friendly and professional but acted natural, they werent like creepy mannequins like most other places haha They had this cute recreation room full of books to read and board games, cards, puzzles which was really really cool and we wouldve hung out in it more if we were doing a long stay but just stopped in to check it out. It was open all night from what we noticed. They also had a shuffleboard table and pool and i think some other stuff in the next room over but that was closed when we came in late that night. Overall, this place was a gem. cute design and decor, etc. If i have any critique it would be that the outside is pretty plain. Almost ugly. When we pulled up we were pretty disappointed because it looked so blah that we thought the rest of it would be jumy but we were sooo relieved that everything ended up as great as we'd hoped. Dont let the outside facade deter you.We will definitely be coming back! More...

We visited during Palm Springs Pride and also because it was still hot, the rooms in most hotels were booked in Palm Springs. We ventured out to Desert Hot Springs using HotelTonight and had no problems. It's less than 15 minutes out and at the edge of the town. The rooms were sufficient. The night we arrived, they were playing "Beauty and the Beast" by the pool. I loved their 24 hour hot spring tub. Other than that, this is bare bones. No restaurant, no breakfast served. (It looks like they have remnants of a restaurant though.) Clean, safe, and quiet... well, except when guests roll their luggage, you can hear it from anywhere. More...

Friendly staff, room was just ok, bathroom sink faucet was broken; could get it to work with effort but it was really loose. Pillows were terrible, bring your own if you can. Room condition was kind of worn. A big plus is 24 hour pool and hot tubs, great mountain views. Not really worth $159 a night but wouldve been ok for less More...

I liked that there was more than one hot tub, one of which is in a gazebo with nice lighting. There's a game room with a pool table, jenga, and ping pong but it's not open at night. There is an adolescent resident owl that hangs out all night in the pool area and he is a hoot. All around very happy and relaxing experience. More...

You can’t beat Desert Hot Springs for a November heat wave! I would like to keep this hotel in my back pocket for future visits. My renovated room and bathroom was beautiful. Comfortable bed, good quality deep mattress seemed like a firm pillow top. Excellent clean 24 hr pool and hot tubs. Staff were friendly and engaging. Superb housekeeping. Good ice water in the lobby and good, dark roast coffee off the lobby until 11am. A few drawbacks: the tv is fuzzy on dish network (didn’t matter to me), the walls are a bit thin expect a little sound, and there’s no on site food. Pick up salads and sandwiches at nearby Vons market, Starbucks and McDonalds. I loved my stay here and will be back! More...

Im grossen und ganzen war alles in Ordnung.Meiner Meinung nach für eine Nacht in ok, man sollte aber nicht seinen ganzen Urlaub dort verbringen. Definitely not a 3 star hotel but was fine for the price we paid. One of the two hot tubs was not at all and the pool not heated like advertised (but was fine). This hotel is a great "get what you pay for" example, but still a solid option if you want a weekend getaway that's fairly affordable compared to other Palm Springs hotels. I would suggest getting the private jacuzzi suites if available during your stay, versus just the standard hotel room. This made the stay unique and those suites are cute and updated. Otherwise the exterior of hotel looks a bit outdated. Pool/resort amenities area was fine, nothing special about the pool outside (minus mineral water) but it did the job. Cute little game room and other areas for kids to hangout. Overall this was a good stay for couples or friends looking to have a quick night getaway in the SoCal desert, but not pay Palm Springs resort prices. I would stay here again in the future, again definitely booking the suite option. More...

The room was clean. The pool was relaxing and also well maintained. There was a refrigerator in the room which was convenient. Two minor issues that should be addressed: there are very few channels available on the television. No ability to rent movies to add to a relaxing time. No microwave in the room. One last suggestion would be to offer a continental breakfast. Overall our stay was enjoyable. Thank You! More...

Excellent Stay. Loved the fact that the pool was open ALL night. Or at least they allowed access to it all night (I think. ....) Could have just been a fluke, but was nice to see everyone behaving and being quiet that was in the pool at 4:30am. Super chill. ||||Also SUPER impressed with service from Michelle the FOM and the housekeeping department as a whole. My wife took her wedding ring and 3/4 carat engagement ring off and set it by the coffee maker. We left home for LA, got all the way home and realized she had left it. She was devastated! Honestly - knowing other hotels and their notorious "We're not responsible for lost or stolen items" speech...we were pretty much expecting to hear and that they would be gone forever. Nope, the housekeeper that cleaned Room 104 was honest and turned it in to lost and found! Michelle arranged to her rings shipped to us in LA insured. That gesture alone will make us return whenever we come back to Desert Hot Springs to visit friends. Well done Aqua Soleil. Thanks for being an honest place to stay! ||||The rooms were excellent too, fresh remodels with Elvis pictures on the wall. Microwaves and full fridge with full freezers Very Hip. Though in our standard king room there was no table at all which was a bit strange.||||Weird that they had newer TV's mounted on the wall and even a DVD/CD Player with separate remote control to use. Then when you go to watch TV its literally basic cable all snowy and no where near high definition. Perhaps an old satellite dish. Half the channels were "loading" and never did load the whole time. This was the only negative part. Fully remodeled rooms, but horrible TV service. Ditch the dish and just pay for high def cable. You have the TV's for it...||||On a final note: Hotel advertised as having a restaurant, but apparently it's closed? Not sure what's up with that. GOOD NEWS though there are several small restaurants, chain and mom and pop like a block or two away. Starbucks across the street, literally!||||Long into short - We will stay again! Like I said before the service (for a 3 star) was excellent, and they seem to really care for you when you interact with them. Well done! More...

If you're with you're significant other, you MUST get a room with the private jacuzzi/pool. My boyfriend and I stayed here on a Monday night and we never wanted to leave our hotel! And since we stayed during the week, the price was a lot cheaper. Their outside pool is heated too which is pretty cool, so we went night swimming for about 30 minutes. TVs had no cable, but I didn't feel like we were missing out on anything since they have free DVDs you can rent at the front desk. Plus... private jacuzzi. Come. On. Highly recommend this place. We might even come back here in a few months, who knows! More...
