John is super informative and helpful in his knowledge of dogs. We brought in our cane corso Zelda, who was still a puppy and not trained yet, while we were moving. She stayed for about a month and we were super pleased with how she was being cared for. When we picked her up she was just as happy and social as when we dropped her off. 10/10 would come back here. I need to get my cats nails cut because I don’t believe in declawing and honestly have no idea what I’m doing. I have been trying groomers all around the area and either they stop grooming cats or I don’t care for the way my cat is treated. This groomer is amazing, super reasonable prices and extremely knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with the handling of my kitty and the office kitty. He was not thrown off by my cats very... vocal attitude... which has thrown off groomers before. He took the time to talk to me and even teach me facts about my cat I was unaware of. We used to have a large dog that was dog aggressive. We kenneled her with Apolda for 11 years and she was always well cared for. Never came home injured or sick. Prices for walks are very reasonable at this kennel so we often would have her walked if she would have an extended stay. Kennel sizes are large with plenty of space. Great Service and the dogs are well cared for. John does a great job and is always accommodating. Medication schedules, grooming needs, short notice kennelling, I'm always happy, and know my dog is being well cared for when he can't travel with us.

He did a great job on our dog Cricket, and was attentive to my instructions, even though I wasn't quite sure how to describe the grooming I wanted. Cricket looks and smells great. We took our last dog to several kennels before discovering Apolda and John Magill. Our Weimaraner "Charlotte" was very high strung and didn't do well in most kennels, with Apolda we always got her back in good shape.
