Apex is amazing. I love this place. All the coaches are amazing, helpful, and fun to be around. And parkour is one of the best things that ever happened to me. It's fun, it's challenging, (which is good) it helps me push myself and do things I never thought I could. I've gone here for a year and a half, and I've gotten so much stronger and had so much fun. Parkour makes me feel better. I'm planning on becoming a coach. If you want something fun, active, and enjoyable, I would recommend this place in a second. Apex has changed my life for the better, and has become my happy place. (: More...

This place is the most amazing place to train in the world. But I may be biased.

I recently moved to Loveland and am ecstatic to have found such a great group to learn from and practice with. The instructors are good at pushing you to work hard and learn parkour skills safely without forgetting that the heart of parkour is having fun.

This gym may be the newest instalment in the apex movement francise but it is certaintly not bad. Although it may not be as big as the boulder gym or the denver gym, this gym still has many aspects that make it superb. Foam pit and airtrick are included which allow for practicing of new tricks. The nearly excess in bars allow for plenty of bar work while the mobility of the boxes and foam vault boxes, and the saucers make this an experience to remember. I have been atending classes at APEX movement fort collins for about 4 years now. I was around for the move from the loveland gym to the old fort collins gym and from their to the new one. This one is by far my favorite. The teachers Jesse, Justin, and Travis allow for plenty of questions and the emplyees Logan and Dominec are always willing to help. Any time you arive, their is an instant feel of home. Your parkour companions welcome you and you talk about your day. The instructor cracks jokes and you laugh while warming up. Though this seems to not be very serious, the instructors mean buisness. Talking will award you tough workouts and muscle pulling stretches. One time, at the level two class, we worked on bar laches and the sort. All the while, we put on a playlist of "classy" 80s music and dansed in the stranges ways. It was all in the fun being able to be around such skilled athletes and acting 100% friendly with every single one. Everybody there was better than me but they didnt seem to care. I thank everyone of you for acting as an amazing companion and in some cases rival. Apex has allowed my inner self, my soul to manifest itself. I have found my self asking questions, cracking jokes, and helping others. At school, I am often anti-social, quiet, and other wise boring. If you have any interest at all in starting parkour, APEX movement fort collins is the place for you. It will change you in more ways than physical. You will find your self making new friends, learning things you never thought you could, and overcoming obstacles that make you feel awesome.

And one more thing(For nonParkour folk wanting to start parkour). Somehow parkour isnt as taxing as I thought. If you put in the effort, no body will judge you. I used to not be able to pull myself to the top of an object from hanging. If I see someone having trouble, no one will laugh or make fun of you. EVER PERIOD. We were all a beginner once. We all didnt know everything we now now once. You will get there, just be patient

My 4.5 year old loves the Littles class! He's usually very nervous to try new things, but he jumped right in. The instructors are awesome, and the class is engaging, fun, and perfect for this age group!

Gotta say, if you have an interest in parkour, this is the place to go. The staff and the environment is amazing. The staff care about how much you excel in parkour or free running, and will work with you if you are struggling. I feel like I have a family outside my family when I come here, the community is something to be proud of. I would recommend this place to anybody. More...

My son has been involved in Apex for two years now, and I only have positive things to say about the staff, the facility and the discipline of parkour. As my son has grown from 10-12 years old, his coaches have continued to appropriately challenge him, make it a ton of fun and engage him in parkour to where he wants to be there most days of the week now. There's a reason Apex Movement Fort Collins is growing!! Thank you for helping my son find his passion! More...

This is a great school with great instructors, and a ton of fun and encouragement. I didn't try Parkour until I turned 34, and even I could do it (and I wasn't the oldest in the class! ) It's a great way for all ages to have fun together with the mindset of improving mobility, balance, strength and stamina! I've been attending classes here for a year & a half and it's a wonderful experience every time. They've helped me reach new heights, test my limits, and have a greater appreciation for all there is to climb and explore in the world. The gym is amazing and the coaches even more fantastic - I trust each of them completely and know if I have questions or need further instructions all I have to do is ask. The community is awesome too: friendly, enthusiastic, and exited to help and encourage each other. I feel very fortunate to have found this gym and I hope to keep attending for years to come. Our son (10 years old at the time) once asked how far away Chicago was from where we were living at the time. Answer: 6 hours. Why did he ask? Because that was the nearest place he found to learn parkour. A year ago we decided to move to Fort Collins because, well, why not? It's an awesome place. Then he was online last winter (again looking for parkour schools) and suddenly said, "MOM! Fort Collins has a parkour school!" Of course it does! We visited to check out schools (you know, the schooly/booky kind) and he was able to attend an open jam while we were in town. Life was never the same after that. He was already excited about the move but that put him over the top. 10 days after we moved to Fort Collins, he attended a week of summer camp at APEX, joined the next week, and--no joke--this kid who was already very wise and perceptive has matured about 2 years in the last 3 months. The move itself was a fantastic change, but his time at APEX has been a catalyst for helping him develop confidence, overcome some of his shyness, push himself physically, learn what it means to practice and persist, make new friends he can be himself with, and truly inhabit his body in a way that sometimes makes makes me tear up. He is truly in his natural habitat there. As a parent and student at a dojo elsewhere, I was jaded by talk vs. walk regarding integrity and values, so I took a very cautious stance when we arrived at APEX. There are no big claims made about "character formation" as many martial arts programs do. Instead, it's organically injected into the coaching. After watching many of the coaches interact with kids, exchanging emails with the owners, taking the free adult class myself, and listening to other parents' opinions, I feel confident that not only is he learning parkour, but he's doing so in an environment of integrity that is respectful, supportive, and inclusive. My own training and study has shown me that boys need "uncles"--unrelated men in their lives to learn from, lean on, trust. Those connections matter more and more as boys grow toward manhood and try to stay anchored in who they truly are. So I especially evaluate male leaders in his life with the questions, "Is he someone I want my son to look up to? Do I trust him to model for my son what matters most?" Everything I've seen at APEX and from the coaches (male and female) says yes. More...

The owners and the instructors at Apex are welcoming and engaging, and you'll feel at home quickly training with them. The instruction is spot on, and it's obvious that they know what they're doing, which has lead to me learning a lot in the brief time that I've been training with them. At times, I feel that this gym is more like a dojo, due to the discipline with which these guys practice. It's awesome. But yeah, definitely check out Apex, it's very worth it. More...
