Truly thankful that working with Peter, Kendal, and the rest of the team at Antonoplos & Associates was an option for us through my partner's employer-sponsored legal benefit. After an initial consultation with Peter, Kendal Wilkinson, the paralegal in the office who was our primary contact, worked tirelessly and with grace to shepherd us through the next steps, answering many (many!) questions along the way, via both email and phone calls. As a health care provider I have non-traditional work hours, but Kendal was able to coordinate with everyone seamlessly to schedule follow-up conversations and document-signing times that worked for all parties. We are so grateful for all of her help, care, and professionalism! Peter was also a pleasure to work with, and was very generous with his time. He explained various legal complexities with which we were generally unfamiliar in ways that truly educated us, and it was clear that a nuanced understanding of the options available to us was important to him. Working with Peter felt very collaborative, and with his guidance we were able to find solutions to fit our particular needs. We have been really impressed with his professionalism, clear and straightforward communication, and in-depth knowledge of will and trust preparation. This team deserve 5 stars and no one who has actually hired these lawyers would disagree. So... here is my honest feedback as an actual client. (I posted this on yelp and I'm posting it here too)The good: 1) You're getting serious brain power. Mr. Antonoplos quickly sees solutions that nobody else thinks about. Because of his training, he understood my case from a business and legal perspective, and that is what ultimately won my case for me. 2) You're getting local experts. I hired Mr. Antonoplos (even though I live in TN) for a complicated issue over family property in DC. His understanding of the local economy and the local real estate industry made opposing counsel look like a lost puppy. 3) Even though I found their rates to be a little bit higher, they were more efficient in handling my case. The first lawyer I hired (who I decline to review) required a lower retainer at the start and said he would charge me at a lower hourly rate... then he charged me $50,000, made serious mistakes, and wasn't able to resolve my case at all. The Antonoplos folks jumped right in, figured out the right answer, and was able to pressure the other side to settle in my favor.The only thing I would say is that you have to be patient. They're a small firm and communication is not always immediate. Sometimes my emails would not be responded to right away, but I was always able to schedule a call or a meeting when I needed to discuss my case. Overall, they did really excellent work for me. Antonoplos & Associates are the best! From handling my father’s probate matter after my sister screwed it up years earlier, to the civil law suit that followed, to my estate planning, Antonoplos & Associates were on top of things. When I first met Peter, I was a nervous wreck. Peter looked me in the eyes and said “I got this. You have nothing to worry about”. And he was right. All I had to do was sit back and let Peter and his staff do their thing. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and smart. In other words, they know their stuff.After seeing how Antonoplos & Associates handled my father’s probate matter, I wanted them to help me with my estate planning. I decided to do a living trust. When I received the documents, I went to all the places that I do business with to have my accounts converted to a living trust. The first bank I went to I told the manager what I wanted. She looked at me and started rattling off names of documents that I needed and suggested that I consult with a lawyer and then come back. As I reached in my backpack to pull out a binder, I told her that I have no clue what she asked for but hopefully it was in the binder. As I slid the binder across the desk, her mouth hit the floor. As she flipped through the pages, she said that she never seen trust documents as nice and organized as the one Antonoplos & Associates prepared for me. She’s used to customers coming in with documents in boxes, bags, or in hand. I went to two other banks and the exact same thing happened. The trust documents prepared by Antonoplos & Associates was in a hardback padded binder with tabbed documents and a cover letter describing each document. Competent and affordable team of real estate attorneys. Scheduled an appointment with Antonoplos & Associates regarding a commercial real estate problem I have been having with a former business partner of my late husband. I met with Peter Antonoplos to discuss the dispute. Peter presented me with a couple of options regarding the dispute, and I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and analysis of the situation. Peter was very patient with me and took the time to explain to me a few options to avoid litigation and the costs involved. I very pleased to report that we were able to resolve the dispute without having to go to court. Peter proved to be effective, competent, and quite affordable. Stellar experience. I recently sought out Peter in connection with a real estate transaction that I was contemplating -- multiple parties involved, with numerous complexities attached, all related to the upcoming sale of my DC condo. I was referred to Antonoplos & Associates for estate planning by a good friend of mine.
As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who took me straight to the conference room and asked me about my day as well as if I would like some water, tea or coffee. Shortly after, I was welcomed by Peter and we discussed my estate planning needs.
Peter was very informative and explained everything to me in detail. I knew I was in good hands and felt very comfortable with Peter. What I also like about this law firm is the wide range of times for appointments and the friendliness of the office team.
The entire team is very pleasant and all conduct themselves with high levels of professionalism. I recommend their office to anyone in need of representation, estate planning,probate, or other legal matters.

I did a simple will, power of attorney, and medical power of attorney with Peter Antonoplos, and could not have been happier. The process was easy and straightforward, while Peter and his team were paragons of professionalism. Earlier today, I called to cancel an appointment as my employee association said this firm was no longer part of the association's network, meaning my personal cost would increase. Peter himself called me approximately ten minutes after my cancellation to let me know an error had occurred on the part of my employee association. I recently purchased a renovated home, and the developer was more than a little shady. Construction defects, lies and a 250k repair bill, I was worried that I would never get out of this terrible situation. I contact Antonoplos & Associates, I spoke with their friendly client relations manager and schedule a consultation.
