What they say is true: your wedding goes by in the blink of an eye. I’m so glad I had Anne there to capture those precious, fleeting moments forever. She was definitely the most important vendor I had at my wedding: she was focused, not only on capturing our memories, but on making sure we took time to be present with each other and enjoyed our time together while being photographed. My husband and I chose Anne as our photographer for our wedding based on her online collection of photos and her friendly, sweet, and professional correspondence and conversations over the phone and Facetime. We live in Chicago and planning a destination wedding had its stressors for sure, but Anne was definitely not one of them. She helped out with developing a wedding timeline, photo lists, and locations for optimal photos and was always available if we had questions. We were a bit nervous having not participated in an engagement session and not being very comfortable in front of the camera. Anne helped put us at ease and made the experience fun. We first met Anne in the summer of 2018 when a mutual friend told me to check her out for our engagement photos. We were having a destination wedding and made a trip up to Vermont to tour some venues and have our photos taken by Anne. We had such an amazing experience with her, she made us both feel so goofy and comfortable and we loved our photos so much. To think we thought we loved Anne then. After such a positive experience, we hired Anne to shoot our wedding. And let me just say, she was AMAZING. Not only did she put up with our *very* rowdy bridal party, she made us all laugh and have a great time while posing for approximately a million photos. When we first saw our "sneak peek" we could not stop looking at them and what a surprise it was when our full album was ready 2 weeks before she promised it! We are so in love with our photos. They perfectly captured our day and we will relive the best day over and over again by looking through them all. Anne is amazing! She has been a dear friend of mine for years, but my fiancé and I would never have booked her for our proposal, engagement portraits, and wedding day if she were not a TRUE professional who consistently delivers GORGEOUS photos. My first experience working with Anne was at my best friend’s wedding a couple years ago. She was a joy to work with, made everyone feel comfortable and confident, and of course the end results were breathtaking! I have many of her photos displayed around my house. My fiancé then hired (and schemed with) Anne to photograph his surprise proposal to me back in December. Her photos of the event (which she delivered to us SO quickly!) perfectly captured the best night of my life, surrounded by all my favorite people. We had so much fun looking through them together and basking in this wonderful time in our lives. So it was a natural decision to book Anne for our wedding later this year! She helped us quickly schedule our engagement portraits since we were on a time crunch to get Save the Dates out. Anne did a maternity photo shoot for my fiancé and I. We searched around and couldn't find anyone who was affordable to us and then stumbled upon Anne. Boy did we get lucky! We can't say enough wonderful things about Anne. She made our wedding day nothing short of amazing with her positive energy and genuine passion for what she does. Anne's work is incredible and we were blown away with her photographs. She was able to take a very modern, "Pinterest-y" approach which we absolutely loved. Anne was nothing short of a miracle worker on our special day! She arrived right on time and made me (the easily excitable bride) feel like she had everything under control. She handled all of our crazy families with grace and made sure all of our wishes were met. It seems like these days anyone with a nice camera thinks that they are now a qualified "photographer"- not the case! My husband and I had Anne as our photographer for our wedding and we could not be happier with how they turned out! Anne did a great job at capturing the moment while making sure it all looked natural and beautiful. Anne is super flexible and willing to readjust things, and help where needed which was so helpful for someone like me. She helped me form my wedding timeline, and was honestly willing to help in any way she could. I have personally always disliked most photos taken of my husband and I (he always goes for the buddy, arm around my shoulder look) so thinking about photography for the wedding really stressed me out. Anne made sure to identify those stresses then she worked with me to make sure that the pictures were exactly how I wanted (not a single awkward shoulder photo to be found in our whole album!). Anne also was a wonderful, calming and funny presence to have around. She kept talking me through all of my outrageous emotions that day, which was exactly what I needed! My husband and I contacted Anne for a session on a whim. Neither of us are very comfortable in front of a camera (or that extroverted) but wanted some professional-grade photos taken. Anne was really friendly and we were instantly at ease working with her. The three of us were laughing like old friends after just a couple of minutes as we started the shoot. I decided I really wanted to do a boudoir shoot with Anne after seeing the photos she had done with my sister. Her work always seems to highlight the natural beauty of whatever and whoever she’s photographing and I love that. Now admittedly, when the day of the shoot came I was a bit nervous for it all, but Anne put me at ease right away. She arrived on schedule, and greeted me with a big, warm smile. seeing her enthusiasm and excitement was infectious. Anne put me at ease immediately. It was not the easiest feat, given that it was for a boudoir shoot, and she is the daughter of a grade school teacher of mine!
That said, we had instant chemistry and comfort (at least, I know I did). She kept me up on her shots, and we worked together to make them something of which we would both be proud.
I received the photographs well before anticipated, and was floored, as was my husband! Thank you Anne, for a fantastic experience during and after the shoot. This is something we will cherish.

Leading up to our session I had several questions since my fiancé and I 1) were only visiting the area for a few days, and 2) had never done the professional photography thing before — and Anne was so responsive and patient the whole time. She took the care to scout out our photography site, which was absolutely gorgeous, as well as make sure we were comfortable and had fun during our shoot.
Everything went so smoothly; Anne is incredibly talented, and her care for her clients definitely shows in her work. My fiancé and I cannot recommend Anne enough! Thank you!!
