I had the pleasure of working with Animus Art, Burcu and Pedro on a styled shoot. First of all, their talent and craft is absolutely amazing! I am simply in awe over their images and stunning work. We provided some unique vintage furnishings to accent a beautiful styled shoot and we are all still gushing over the photos. The photos were also published in Boston Rising Tide Magazine! I've had the opportunity to work with Burcu and Pedro from Animus Art and I couldn't have been happier with their services.
As photographers, they don't only hold technical skills but they have the necessary attention to detail and an impressive sense of aesthetics. They are seasoned, creative artists who can find beauty in the smallest details.Their portfolio is very impressive.
Burcu and Pedro also happen to be wonderful people - they are a pleasure to work with. Honest, reliable, smart and funny (which makes it so easy to model for them - you forget about the cameras!). I also really loved the way they do business; they really look forward to knowing your story and offer packages that go way beyond the wedding day. More than only your looks, they want to capture your story.
I highly recommend Animus Art. I'm confident to say they are the best in Boston!

It was my lucky day the day I met the Animus Art team at a bridal expo and won their free engagement photo shoot. When my (now) husband and I met with them over coffee (the way to their hearts, I found later) to talk about the shoot, I hadn't intended on choosing our wedding photographer then.
We ended up loving their work so much...but more importantly, we fell in love with them as people. They have such a passion for what they do and for the people they work with, and it shows through in every conversation, every laugh, and every photo.
Not only did they do an amazing job for us for our engagement shoot, they went above and beyond for our wedding and editorial shoot. And once we found out we were pregnant, we immediately turned to them to not only help us capture the maternity and newborn moments, but the birth process as well. That's how close we've become with Pedro and Burcu...they were the only people we trusted to be in the room the moment our first child was born.
I can't recommend them enough, and there aren't words for how much their dedication to those precious moments in our lives means to me. I can't imagine a special occasion without them...not only as photographers, but as friends.

Animus art are the most amazing photographers! They have been on our wedding journey for over a year! From engagement pictures to my boudoir photo shoot for my new hubby to our wedding. Animus-Art photography consists of two amazing humans, Pedro & B, who are even more perfect when they come together. Working with them on our engagement and wedding was nothing short of a fun adventure. My husband and I are not exactly naturals on camera, but you wouldn’t know that by looking at the images they captured. Pedro & B are fun, creative, passionate, hard-working and incredibly talented!! They go above and beyond to get the perfect shot! Their work is exceptional and speaks for itself. I couldn’t imagine the images being any more perfect. But aside from that, Pedro & B offer something truly special with their personalities and work ethic. They weren’t just our photographers- especially on the wedding day- they took on so many roles.They were like the best friend who never left our sight. While we were getting ready, Pedro spent much of the time with my husband and the boys, and B stayed with me and the girls. B was my superwoman on my wedding day. She wasn’t just one of my photographers - she was my maid of honor, my friend, my event coordinator, my personal assistant, my therapist. She just seemed to be there every second of the day, willing and ready to help out in every way. All this, while she snapped hundreds of beautiful, creative photos. Pedro is the kind of photographer who listens while you describe your ideal look to your hair dresser so that he can make sure it stays that way all night. And as he prompts you to fix your hair 3 hours into your reception, you smile with pride because you know you hired the best photographers in the world. The level of attention they pay to detail is unreal! They anticipate your needs before you even know about them. They capture real moments in a beautiful way. They know how to take photos while letting you be yourself- no constant stopping and prompting. In my opinion, those make for the best shots. They have so much fun doing what they do, it’s infectious. I am so so happy that they were our wedding photographers and hope to have them capture other important events in our future. my husband and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding. We met Pedro and Burcu at a bridal show. We fell in love with their work form that moment. Pedro and Burcu are by far the BEST photographers we've ever worked with. Words don't do justice to their marvelous work. They are both talented with artistic mind. They captured every moment of our wedding. Their outstanding work is beyond words. Every detail they did (e.g. choosing locations, guest book design, photo album, etc) was very elegant and WOW. They surprised us all the time with ideas and exceptional work. Besides, they are both very nice at the personal level. They spent time with us in order to get to know us and have better understanding of our style. We are lucky to have them as friends. We really enjoyed working with them.
