In a word, exceptional. Our server was brilliant; attentive but not obtrusive at all. We were seated in the red room. The decor throughout the restaurant is stunning, highlighted by the glass enclosed wine cellar in the center (I was given a tour by the sommelier- amazing!!). The wine list is staggering. Beef tartare and ravioli antipasti were exceptional, as were my wife's pasta and my veal chop. Perfectly executed. The zeppole were fantastic for dessert, as was the port selection. Our server brought limoncellos for us as well on the house. All told it was a pricey meal, but a priceless one. We will return More...

Classy, but approachable. The chocolate ganache cake is SO GOOD (get it with extra fruit though because it is rich). To me, it is the epitome of date dining. It's cozy and lush, and the service is impeccable. The serving sizes are generous and they really will try to work with your appetite preferences.  I've been here 2 times and it's definitely become a special date night place for us when we stop by naples. Take someone special with you here because this is a special restaurant and you will fall in love with the food, maybe even before your date haha! More...

It is a shame to be writing this because Angelina's used to be one of my favorites but I'm not sure what they're doing here but they've really taken a turn for the worst within the last few years. They used to have amazing bolognese which now all they have is ragu misto which is putrid (maybe I tried it on an off night). The sauce tasted old and there were more chunks of carrots and tomatoes than meat. I had specifically asked if there were chunks of meat in it and was told yes...there's actually only tiny bits of shredded meat through. Also I've noticed that they tend to cook their pasta on the al dente side which I am completely fine with but just a notice for anyone else. The pizzette also used to be much better. Now they are undercooked and lacking flavor. It reminds me of a place that doesn't know how to make a good pizza...but still charge and arm and a leg for an awful pizza because of the name. Also recently I've experienced 2 waiters that really shouldn't have jobs as waiters. I won't say name because that's rude but one guy was extremely awkward to the point it was rude and condescending and he made the whole table uncomfortable. This was disappointing because it was my aunt and uncles anniversary dinner. I understand people can be shy and reserved but any time someone tried to joke with him he took it very serious and rolled his eyes or would walk away quickly then come back and start over almost. The other waiter was just very slow and we hardly saw him. After finishing the meal it took almost 20 mins to get the check and the table next to us was also getting irritated because they had been waiting even longer. The only reason I've giving this 3 stars is because it used to be a favorite and I'd give 5 stars. Now I'd give it 2-3. Maybe it's just because it's been the off season but I'm extremely disappointed. More...

I have been hearing about Angelinas since I moved here last summer.  Finally convinced my husband to at least try the happy hour. It was great! The menu is from the regular bar menu and drink, just half price from 4-6. We tried a few different appetizers and the drinks were delish! The place is beautifully decorated! Very romantic!     I heard the dinner menu is a bit pricey and will have to save it for a special occasion! Looking forward to going back soon. At least for happy hour again! More...

Read great reviews and decided to try Angelinas again for a second time while visiting Naples. Chad was a complete delight at the door made and us feel more welcome than family. Server Faith was accommodating  and polite. Nick and Sean serving wine and intermezzo were the best I've seen in a while. Hostess with dark long hair, dirty toms and no make up made us feel more unwelcome than ever. Do not come here with a child. Sorry for having kids AND wanting to enjoy good food. Caprese salad was the best I've ever had. Muscles were delicious. Place is amazing don't be afraid of being judged More...

After several days of "acceptable" dinners on our trip to Estero Island two years ago we found Angelina's. WOW. Returning to Florida quickly became returning to Angelina's. We were delighted to find the same exceptional level of service and quality. Ingredients, food quality and presentation and service are top notch. Literally one of the three top restaurants I have visited in 65 years of world travel. More...

The three of us dined here last night for the first time. Complimentary valet service. (Self parking optional) At anytime entering the restaurant, from the valet to the staff inside, everyone was the most pleasant and engaging. We were seated on the Red Room (our choice of the few dining rooms) our server KATIE appeared and was soo knowledgeable and helpful and descriptive of so many of the entrees. That was great.I asked for her faves on the menu and there were many. She was very professional, very personable and an overall pleasure to have been waited by her. She made our visit memorable. THANKS AGAIN KATIE! We liked everything we had. But the Butternut Squash Ravioli WAS the freshest and best we've had. It's their signature dish. My only gripe was the Caprese Salad I wish was a creamy Burrata instead of the housemade mozzarella, although good, needed the Burrata to mix with the tomatoes and oil. I hadn't found this to be expensive as some have claimed, but I can tell you, given the quality of food and service, was worth every penny. Looking forward to returning in another room and another  choice of entrees. I never understand some of the negative comments be it legit at the moment or not. I can only tell you by this foodie, you'll enjoy your time here!!! Bon Appetito!!))Appetizers: The Fried Calamari & Halibut Caprese SaladCaesar SaladEntrees:Pan Seared Scallops and Pork Belly (Bacon)Butternut Squash Ravioli Halibut PiccataDesserts: TiramisuRestaurant gave us three one Cannoli on a platter each.(That was unexpected and great....and delicious!)The bread basket and pre dinner spoonful tasting of mozzarella on honey was also very good More...

We tried a large variety of appetizers and main dishes and there some highlights and lowlights. Overall, the service was wonderful. Highlights:The bread bowl with garlic butter. Mushroom soup was delightful and very mushroomy and "meaty" in texture. The portion was just right. The caprese salad with the mozzarella made in house was very good. Also, the Angelina salad was balanced, nutty and fruity.  Pork osso bucco with mashed potato is one of my favs. Room for improvement:The fried calamari with halibut had at most four "starburst-sized" nuggets of halibut. The swordfish was over cooked and tough. The acid in the tomato/olive sauce was over-powering and was not  complementary to the dry swordfish.  The ragu misto had a "stringy" meat stew sauce.  Lastly, the zeppole was fried in oil that was "dirty" and not hot enough and it was greasy in the center. I was really hoping that they had great pastas and seafood because they have an opportunity to be outstanding, and differentiate from other offerings in this neighborhood. More...

Angelinas works hard on creating a dining experience and they didn't disappoint. My husband and I came here for our one night out without the kids while on vacation (thanks to the grandparents) for my husband's birthday. I ordered the fish soup - which may not sound exciting but oh my goodness it was beyond delish. We also tried the pumpkin ravioli with truffles. (They'll push a truffle menu if they have them - we were underwhelmed by them.) The pumpkin ravioli was excellent however. My husband got the black grouper and ate it right up. And as a touch to the end of the evening, they brought out some small desserts with "happy birthday" written in chocolate for him. Really a delightful dining evening out. :) More...

My Fiancé and I went here for Christmas Eve. The service was amazing, and the food was very good. However, considering we spent $200 for two, I just didn't think it was mind-blowing like I'd expect. They have commissioned a pianist to play live piano 5 days per week. The ambiance was very nice. There is also a bar if you prefer to grab drinks and an app, opposed to a full out formal dinner. We got 4 small pasta dishes, a bottle of wine and clams as an appetizer. Oh, and cannolis for dessert! The favorite of the dishes was the mushroom risotto and the butternut squash raviolis with candied walnuts on top! Very good! The shrimp scampi was the most expensive of the dishes and the least favorite of the dishes. I wouldn't rule going back to Angelinas, but I just can't think of an occasion where I'd want to spend that kind of money for Italian food. Don't get me wrong, I love Italian food. I just think Angelinas is a little over priced for Italian. More...

Excellence from the valet to the last bite of the delicious Apple Pie panna cotta. We had a great time. I was there with my wife, daughter, son and his fiancé.  Four of us had recent birthdays and this was the first we saw our son to celebrate his engagement to his lovely fiancé. We started with a few Ceasars and a great mushroom and meatball pizzette. I had the Zuppa de Pesce with fresh parpadelle. It was outstanding. Tasty with a nice kick from the Italian sausage spread on the crostini. My wife had the grouper special (she loved it), my daughter the parpadelle Capri (loved that too), my future DIL the ravioli (very good) and my son had the veal Marsala (it was good, but he realized he doesn't like Marsala). We ended the meal with their hot and sugary zeppoles and the aforementioned panna cotta. All-in-all a great evening. And to top it off, the valet remembered my name two hours after dropping the car. Top shelf across the board. Review #2. I didn't read my last review until after dinner and realized I ordered the same dishes. The only change is our other son joined us and had the Osso Bucco with the mushroom risotto. If I was forced to eat that for the remainder of my life I would die a happy man. My only issue is I never ordered it before.  It was extraordinary. More...

We were recently in to Angelinas for our Anniversary. Both my husband and I had been traveling quite a bit so we decided to take our seven year old with us. We've been to Angeline's before and the Lamb is one of our favorite dishes on the planet. Cooked to perfection at medium rare and served with a side of the mint. Over a flavorful the couscous, makes it hard to order anything else. On this particular night we ordered the beef carpaccio as an appetizer. Obviously the lamb for dinner, and our daughter had the pasta Fazoli as her meal (this is a soup). The wine list at Angelinas is extensive, if ever you're in, don't hesitate to ask your server for the Sommelier to guide you. On this evening the Sommelier plucked a Chilean red wine for us out of a sea of reds that was right in our price range and accompanied the lamb in song. For dessert we had the Zeppolis which are more airy than donuts and have powdered sugar sifted over them served with dark chocolate and raspberry sauce for dipping. I think these are a "must do" when dining at Angelina's. If ordered your server will likely guide you to order early. This is because this dessert takes 20min to make.  You'll be so busy with you after drink shot you won't even notice the clock. Strongly encourage you go to Angelinas to mark a life moment or take in a lovely evening with someone special More...

This is because this dessert takes 20min to make.  You'll be so busy with you after drink shot you won't even notice the clock. Strongly encourage you go to Angelinas to mark a life moment or take in a lovely evening with someone special More...

We have had dinner at Angelina's many times without complaint. Yesterday we tried their "Happy Hour". Disappointed that they do not allow purchase of wine by the glass, but rather require that customers purchase a bottle of wine (at half price). Wine and apps were good but it was by far the most expensive happy hour we have experienced. Next time we forget happy hour and just use the dinner menu. More...

By far the best meal I have EVER had!!  Make sure you go during the winter months for Truffle Season - they actually have a dedicated Truffle menu that is unbelievable!!  This isn't Truffle oil BS ... this is fresh truffles flown in from Italy and grated into or on top of several of the chef's specialties. The mushroom truffle risotto was better than any other dish I have ever had at any other restaurant - Sorry Ritz Carlton, Sorry Waldorf Astoria, Sorry Four Seasons ... Angelina's just knocked you all off the top!  Lastly, I must say a few words about the service - absolutely phenomenal. The entire staff works together so seamlessly and with such attention to every tiny detail from the time you pull up to the valet thru the follow up calls after dining with them. Love it all!!!  :) More...

Four of us went last week to celebrate an anniversary. We are not opposed to spending extra for quality food, or even traveling out of the way, but $58 for an entrée is exorbitant. We were also disappointed to see three veal dishes on the menu when most restaurants have moved away from offering veal for obvious reasons. It is amusing, in an unpleasant way, that this restaurant also uses inexpensive ingredients such as pork bellies, and then doctors them up in an attempt to make them seem somehow special. Porkbellies, even when over-priced, are still just porkbellies, a highly undesirable ingredient! Not impressed and not returning. More...

We had just been in Italy over the summer and this food was as close as we've come to the wonderful food we expected over there. Our server was very knowledgeable and informative.  I had the caprese pasta, my daughter had the shrimp scampi, husband and son had the bolognese.  All were homemade pasta and excellent.  We would definitely go back next time we are in town.  At the end of the meal they gave us a complimentary shot of limoncello. We took her suggestions as well and they really shown through. Everything from the drinks to our dessert were amazing and everything in between was superb! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is going to celebrate a big event, this really isn't the best place for casual dinner as it is expensive! My only suggestion would be to provide a little more lighting, as my family and I had to use our cell phones to be able to read the menu.Another suggestion I have is that you should edit the menu a little. Maybe have a signature ravioli that represents the different seasonal flavors. Butternut squash is not a vegetable that is seen throughout all seasons. This will also help bring in a different crowd and people who are here during the season will be able to have the chance to enjoy the flavors of the season. (Hope this is a good suggestion) More...

Well I have to explain why the one star it's really not because of the food it kind of comes down to the service . Although my wife's scallops were very undercooked and when she told the server he just said oh that is the way we cook them !!! No explanation or may we Fix then for you he just walked away I visited for the first time with my wife and a good friend we had not seen for a while. At the beginning service was great and all was great. Then as the evening went on and we were finished with dinner the level of service just started to get worse and worse and worse. It got to the point that we were so ignored that I just wanted to leave. I was going to order another bottle of $ 150.00 wine and have desert but no one especially our server even paid s second of attention to our table. We finally asked another server taking care of a table next to us to please remove our plates please, I was getting tired of staring at them.  This was an evening that started out on a high note  and ended with me and my wife and friend leaving very upset with the whole dinner !!!!!!!  So un happy Now. $ 400 i really feel so bad about spending. I am just so tired of over paying these places with  my hard earned money for average food and piss poor service and attitude !! Think I may just hire a chef and have them cook for me at home ... for now not sure if and when I may go back More...

My wife and I had never been before, but we finally found the time to make it our place for date night this past Saturday. From the moment the valet took the keys all the way to when he handed them back to me and called me by name, this was a top notch experience through and through. We had a drink at the bar while we waited for our table (an Italian Margarita and a Four Roses Old Fashion) both absolutely incredible. They make their own mixers in house and it shows. The bartenders were attentive but not chatty or pushy, exactly what you want when having a date night. The piano player was fantastic (we are both musicians) and his selections were incredible, he played so many great songs in a classical style that kept the vibe and ambiance perfectly matched to the restaurant. Our waiter was Marco and he was outstanding. The restaurant was packed and he was still able to read us perfectly and give us time to settle in and acclimate to a menu we’d never seen while still being at the ready to answer questions and offer suggestions. We had one of the new appetizers, the Carné Cruda (a filet tar tar-esque item) and it was incredible. We were talking a lot and Marco allowed us to really take our time and not make us feel rushed at all. We ordered the Seared Scallops & Pork Belly and the Tagliatelle Bolognese with an Angelinas salad. While the presentation was nice, it didn’t go over the top and I have to say we actually both appreciated that. The food speaks for itself. It is so good, you immediately understand that the chef and the owners of this restaurant are at the top of their game (and the restaurant game in general). We are happy to pay $40 for an entree because of how it tastes. Unfortunately too many restaurants in this area like to charge that price for something because it’s drizzled in a bright multi-colored emulsion of nothing to dazzle the eye. We had the Chocolate cake for dessert with Limoncello, and it too was absolutely astounding. We both worked in the service industry when we were younger, and we both work in the private country club communities of Naples now. We have experience in true fine dining at the highest level on a weekly basis. Angelina’s is absolutely the best you will find anywhere from Estero down to Naples. I feel that a lot of the lower reviews left by some other customers on this page are unfortunately the by-product of people who do not understand this level of dining. We will be back often, this place is truly a gem. More...

Celebrated a little event with my boyfriend here last night. Angelinas beautifully transports its patrons to the heart of Italy with its delicious food and warm hospitality. David, our server, made the evening even more memorable with his attentiveness and knowledge of their offerings. The atmosphere is perfect for any celebratory meal, both with family or as a couple. We were indulging last night and every course topped the last! I think most impressive was the Wine Room, with over 4,000 (maybe more) bottles of wine and the Zeppolis dessert. My boyfriend raved about the crab-stuffed ravioli special all the way home. However, you can tell a lot about the quality of a restaurant by how they serve their butter and rolls. And y'all, Angelinas delivers again! Butter with olive oil, parmesan, garlic and a mixture of hearty and crispy bread. You can't get much better than that. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience from wine to dessert and everything in between. We'll be celebrating here again! More...

I've heard a lot of amazing things about this place and was hoping to have that kind of experience. Our server was great. She was attentive, knowledgable, but not overwhelming. That part was great. But the food was underwhelming. And the atmosphere, or at least the room we were in, was lame. Loud, and very little ambiance for such an acclaimed place. We started off with the beef carpaccio. It's usually one of my favorites but it had very little flavor. The arugula was not spicy and fresh, the carpaccio itself was just okay, and no truffle oil, which it desperately needed. And then I had the Butternut Squash Ravioli. It was odd. I've had a lot of delicious Butternut Squash Ravioli in the past, but this was not one of them. I usually love that the Butternut Squash has a natural sweetness which is complimented by a rich, savory type of sauce. These raviolis were too sweet, the filling tasted like they put sugar in the squash and not enough tangy cheese to offset the sweetness, and they put a candied something on top of the sauce that made it taste more like a sweet desert. It was unfortunately, gross. My husband had the veal and it was tough and tasteless. The highlight of the meal were the house made donuts. (that's kind of saying a lot to me). I was always told that this was the place to go for Italian food and I couldn't disagree more. It did not live up to the hype. Maybe we'll try a couple of appetizers at the bar, that had way better atmosphere, and give it another shot. it's not fair to judge a place on one experience. Even the best restaurants have off nights. But my in-laws meals were very bland and uninteresting as well. So out of four meals, none were that memorable. I think this great restaurant can do a lot better! Live up to your name Angelina's! More...

While I can tend to be picky, there is no excuse for how the chef blatantly ignored my very clear request to remove the toppings off of my pizza. I don't find this SUCH a big deal, but still it's just a little upsetting. We left this restaurant planning on having our own dinner at home, as our meals were not filling at the slightest. One of our family member's shrimp scampi had an astonishing amount of salt in it. It left them thirsty and their glass of water the only one empty at the table. However, the pizza was also very cold. The thing that bothers me the most is how prices were too high for what it was worth. The menu was extremely limited, and we all had a hard time choosing. I can't stress enough how salty each of our meals were. Not only did the Margarita pizza disappoint, but the fig pizza was also disappointing. It didn't look like pizza. When I read figs I had higher expectations then presented. More...

Not only did they make up for our awful first experience...they took care of us 100 %! The food was all delectable! The service spot on! It was above the rest... flat out an epic experience! Thank you Nate for turning it around. We live close by yr round & we love our date nights. Our new go to spot.. thanks a million! More...

The service is unbelievable. They offer a flexible Pre-Fixe menu that is very flexible and reasonable. The food is fabulous! This place is known for it's wines but I don't drink. We were seated promptly at a nice booth. Our server showed up fairly promptly and we ordered a bottle of wine only to find that they were out. Pet peeve. An adequate replacement was selected. The Caesar salad was OK, but not remarkable in any way.  My wife's Caprese Salad was fabulous. Her Tagliatelle Bolognese was great.  My Zuppa di Pesce was excellent. I'll probably opt to add pasta to it next time.  But the star of the meal were the Zeppoli with chocolate and berry sauce for dessert!  We will be back! More...

I learned of Angelina's at the Naples Food and wine festival and I believe it was the butternut squash raviolis they offered at the tasting. These were absolutely delicious and that was what brought me to try the restaurant. I gave three stars because the staff is very pleasant ,friendly and the restaurant has nice ambiance. With that said, the food was a bit disappointing. We started out with the tomato basil soup it had a nice creamy consistency but you tasted more of the heavy cream with hint of tomato . We ordered three pasta dishes, the pasta stuffed with veal, wild mushroom risotto and the bolognese. The pasta stuffed with veal had a delicious Marsala sauce on top but the pasta itself was clearly pre-cooked and not hot. If the pasta had been cooked to order and hot , the dish would have been fantastic! The wild mushroom risotto was basically truffle risotto with no wild mushrooms to speak of. I mentioned this to the waiter and he came out with a side dish of sautéed wild mushrooms to put on top. Definitely not the same as actually being cooked in the risotto. The last dish we had was the Bolognese. This dish came out hot and delicious and went well the nice hot bread basket. We are glad we tried the restaurant but won't be rushing back. More...

I wish I could give this restaurant a 6th star!  The food is outstanding.  Such flavors and use of fine ingredients.  Veal Agnolotti was unbelievable.  They even have a dish of wild caught shrimp over zucchini pasta for those who need to avoid carbs or gluten that has such flavor you don't even notice the "pasta" isn't pasta.  The waitstaff is so informative and knowledgeable.  Jaden even suggested to one of our party a half order of the "to die for" manhattan when she was not sure she should have another.  I love the idea of being able to order only a half glass of wine if I only want that amount. Also, you can actually hear the conversation of your party unlike so many places here in SW Florida during season.....A true dining experience. More...

We've been to Angelina's many times - the food is very good and the wine list excellent. Last time we went with friends and family from out of state for a birthday. I did not understand where the table was going to be located for our larger group and when we arrived it was behind the host stand in the path of a lot of traffic. Nate was the manager that evening and he was lovely and went above and beyond to move the group to a much more intimate and comfortable room and table. Much thanks to Nate and our server (Kelly?) for ensuring the evening was fun and special!Side note- we took bottles of wine, which we've done before. We learned that if Angelina's has the wine on their list, they don't open the one you bring in. We didn't know that from previous visits so plan accordingly! The valet can get very backed up during peak times, but he always has a smile for everyone. More...

The waiter Winston is professional and extremely knowledgeable. The wine list is incredible. They have over 4,000 wines! I love that they had half bottles and enjoyed the Ken Wright Cellars Pinot Noir he recommended. I had the Grouper Mediterranean. It melted in my mouth. My girlfriend had the the butternut squash ravioli. It had just the right amount of truffle oil in it. We finished our meal with the house specialty Zeppolis and a vanilla panicotta. Two in the party loved their pasta dishes. Another had the steak on special that was initially undercooked and eventually an ordinary cut....certainly not worth the special price. I had veal Marsala that was pounded very thin and then overlooked. The bread took forever to arrive at the table. I was offered white anchovies for my salad yet the salad arrived without them. Our 8 pm reservation was mistakenly written for 9pm. This was not an upscale dining experience. One in our party was given gift cards to return as compensation but why would one return? Good rating is a gift. Perhaps your experience will be better. More...

My wife and I visited Angelina's last night for the first time to celebrate our 14th Anniversary. It came highly recommended by a co-worker of mine. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a super friendly valet service, as well as the hostess who had a Happy Anniversary card for us. We were seated immediately, and all the serving staff was incredibly polite, and friendly. Our waitress was Marina, and she walked us through a few menu items, and made good recommendations. The food was absolutely fantastic, and so was the service. The valet service was impeccable, our car was outside waiting with doors open for us right as we were coming out. A very happy thanksgiving to us (thanks to Angelina's)! First time without a home cooked meal was a success. The menu was great and options plentiful. After receiving our Bellinis, we started with their antipasti bar, which was very good. I especially enjoyed the thinly sliced zucchini and grilled asparagus. Next was the salad course. Another winner!  Both the caprese and Angelina salads were excellent. Perfectly balanced and perfectly dressed. For our entrees, the turkey dinner (of course) and the agnoloti for me, the vegetarian. Both were very good. The only critique is the potatoes were a puree where a mashed potato would have been better. We were stuffed by dessert, but managed about half each of the OMG cake, which is like a rich truffle in cake form, and the apple panna cotta. The panna cotta was nice, but a little thicker or more solidly set than I'm used to. perhaps the shallow bowl it was in? In any event, I'll be back. The amazing sounding arancini need to be in my life. More...

The restaraunt is very comfortable and a lot more elegant than your standard restaraunt. The chef started us out with a watermelon salad that was delicious. Fresh and good to wet the appetite. She then brought out some various types of bread with an olive oil covered butter. This was good also.We then moved on to the calamari with a few other items mixed in like tempura fish and vegetables. A nice sauce to dip it in was on the side. Next we got a Flatbread pizza with meatballs and a decadent cheese. Basil sprinkled on top. We then moved off the happy hour menu and tried the fresh made pasta with bolanaise. This was exceptional. The pasta and sauce went together perfectly. For dessert we tried the zeppoli. These were little doughnuts covered in powdered sugar. Two sauces were in the side. We had a chocolate and berry flavor dipping sauce. Typically I don't like powdered sugar doughnuts but these were amazing. When you bite into them a puff of steam is released and you realize they are pretty close to hollow. Just a creamy almost custard like dough. More...

Very few times am I impressed start to finish. This review is based on value, food, ambience, service. Everything was on point! Now I'll admit I like a good deal and I've been wanting to try Angelina's for awhile, but didn't want to burn a hole in my wallet. So we went to happy hour and it was well worth it! Perhaps one of the best happy hours in SW Florida! Happy hour is 4 to 6 but get there early because it's only in the lounge and there are few nice comfy tables which we snagged. The appetizers are half off and they have quite a selection.  Two things that set this happy hour apart and add value is that they present you with an amuse bouche which really adds class and serve delicious bread.  We ordered the calamari and pizzette from the happy hour menu. Both dishes were delicious! The pizzette was buttery and savory. We wanted to try the homemade pasta from the menu and they have the option of ordering a small portion. I'm italian and rarely impressed with pasta. The pasta with meatsauce was out of this world! Simply delicious. For dessert we ordered the Donuts. They were  light, little pillows of love!!!The ambience, food, service, and value all 5 plus stars! For all of that food the bill was 40 bucks!!!! We definitely will be back! Went to Angelina's for happy hour with friends at their suggestion. Unfortunately it was quite a disappointment. At half price the prices were probably reasonable, but at full price for what you got they would be outrageous. The cocktails were not spectacular but they were acceptable. The fried calamari and snapper app was nothing more than a few pieces of the fish with lots of fried onions and carrots , heavy on the onion bits. The bland taste left a lot to be desired. I kept waiting for some spice or some acidity. The flat bread was just flat bread. Tomato sauce was tasteless, bits of basil and mozzarella. It needed the fruitiness of some good olive oil and some chopped garlic. The bread basket consisted of some cracker like substance coated with an excess of cornmeal and some extremely crusty peasant bread which would have been good for dipping. We also had the zeppoles with chocolate and I think raspberry dipping sauce. The dough was fried nicely but a little too heavy when compared to the yummy morsels of fried dough you find in Italy or in New York's Little Italy. Granted we are spoiled coming from New York and the abundance of high quality Italian restaurants but I expected more from this establishment. I am very glad we only wasted our money on happy hour. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and it came with six ravioli. After eating a lot of bread and an appetizer (meatball and mushroom pizette) the ravioli dish size was ok. So I definitely recommend ordering an appetizer before the entree if you're hungry. More...

Elegant, beautiful setting. Our waiter, Matthew, was exceptional...knowledgeable, excellent service and a wonderful personality. Unbelievable wine selection and unique cocktails. This place is So good! They have a truffle mushroom risotto that's off the charts (and is gluten free!)  They actually are knowledgable about what "gluten free" means which is always a welcome change, especially for someone like me with Celiac. Awesome happy hour, and in the summer, they offer half-priced wine bottles-- ALL DAY.  Can't beat that! Some nights they also have a pianist play in the bar area.  Awesome ambiance, great food, and a fun place for a nice night out. More...

Four of us dined on Saturday night. The bar and wine menus are impressive, (they even had Blanton's Bourbon!), and the food was delicious. House made pasta and ravioli were tender, light and tasty. Fresh snapper was perfectly prepared...wonderful. Save room for gelato... choices were chocolate, coconut, and vanilla. Mmmmmmm. The tables in the patio room are quite small, and we struggled to deal with all of our glasses, utensils, plates, and serving platters. That said, the patio was pleasant compared to the noisy interior rooms. The pianist in the lounge was amazing, and we could enjoy his selections even in the patio room. Service was attentive. Excellent service and ambiance. I like the atmosphere inside this restaurant. The food was really good and served on time. The quality was really fresh and perfect. The service was fast, personalized and efficient, exceeding expectations. The choice of wine is good and they also provide half-glass of wine which is perfect. They have  Barolo wines which is also a very good choice on Italian wines form piedmont. When we went there, a pianist was playing good songs. I ask the Mia & Sebastian's theme and he played it, it was a good time. I recommend this place. More...

Our waiter, Danny, was superb however, the prix fixe meal featuring snapper was over-cooked and dry plus the staff tried to pass off a wine of a different vintage than the one we ordered on us. When the restaurant manager was questioned about the wine we received a less than satisfactory answer. Excepting the entrée the other selections were good. Bottom line: With gratuity the LMK's and my anniversary meal was $200 and very forgettable. Future anniversaries will be spent elsewhere. We were disappointed. More...

Came for a graduation dinner for our niece. (Awesome job Taylor!!!!). And I must say it lived up to the 5 star reviews.....almostWe arrived about half hour early and sat at the bar. Bartender was very friendly. Talking to another couple there who told me the sommelier was the best anywhere! I wish I knew more about wine to appreciate that but the glass of di Bossi chianti I ordered was excellent. Once our party of 16 arrived in full we made our way to a back room that was almost private. Our waiter Matthew handled our group pretty well and was assisted by a great team of bus boys and servers. They mostly do not miss a beat when it comes to 5 star service, even more impressive this night considering the size of our group, always a challenge I tend to judge Italian restaurants by their Marsala. I ordered the veal Marsala and it was excellent. Portion was decent but not what I would call large but the veal was tender and the sauce perfect. Only complaint might be not enough mushrooms in the sauce. The roasted potatoes and broccolini were also very good. Wife had their shrimp scampi over zucchini "fettuccine". It looked amazing but she declared she didn't like it. My 18 & 20 year old kids gladly finished it. They said it was good but not great. So the wife who was still hungry ordered a side of meatballs and they came out in due time and she was also not crazy about those. (Side note - in many high end restaurants the waiter often recognizes if someone hasn't eaten their dish and should ask if there was a problem. Didn't happen but maybe cuz she gave it to my son?) anyway the meatballs were quite dense I was told. I did not try them. Son and daughter split a kale salad and a flat bread and the butternut squash ravioli. They enjoyed all of them and said those were excellentFor dessert, we ordered the Zeppollis, forgive my spelling, which were fantastic!  The fried dough was greaseless and very light and airy and dipping sauces were tasty not that they even needed them. Wife ordered an espresso and said it was the weakest espresso she ever had so not sure how espresso can come out weak like that but she didn't like it at allOverall Angelinas was a very nice restaurant and most of the food was excellent and the service was very good but at these price points I don't think it warrants a 5 star review from me. I would certainly come back for another try when in the area and hopefully I can add that 5th star then! More...

I'm excited to add to the many positive reviews of Angelina's! What made our visit incredible was our server who instantly formed a bond with us and correctly concluded I was a Foodie and immediately took control in recommending her favorites along with wine pairings. She even selected my entrees (2 pasta dishes) which paired wonderfully with the Barolo I selected. She bonded with us throughout the evening and we even discussed World Cup Soccer. The crowning moment was a complimentary cannoli with the final score of a game discussed written in chocolate on the plate!  The food was out of this world but what made this a true 5 star experience was the service. Well done Angelina's and we'll be back often! More...

My wife and I and two of our closest friends went to Angelina's for dinner Wednesday night April 26th, 2017.  This is the first time we have been there since we moved down here two years ago.  The place is very well decorated, cozy and very clean.  The noise level was not bad at all so they put some thought into the acoustics. But the real treasure is the food and the service.  The staff was very friendly and the waiter knew what he was doing.  He knew every special, suggested excellent wines from their amazing wine room.  He took our order without writing anything down and didn't miss a thing.  The food was awesome, prosciutto and melon for appetizer along with some wonderful calamari.  The entrees were amazing and the sauces were some of the best I've ever had.  Even the coffee was phenomenal.  We will definitely be going back.  My compliments to the chef and the staff!!!!! EVERYTHING I had at dinner tonight was absolutely perfect! Started with the caprese salad which is hands down the best I've ever tasted. The mozzarella was amazingly fresh & creamy. They soak the tomatoes overnight so the flavor is insane! Had the butternut squash ravioli and again so delicious. I'm usually not a big fan of butternut squash as it's a bit too sweet for me, but they had it prepared so well and the flavor was so balanced. For the entree I had filet...again so great and cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the strawberry panna cotta and it was such a great finish to a wonderful meal. It wasn't too sweet, it was light & fresh. All of it was perfect. Our server was fantastic! Super knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. All the team there were super attentive and I don't think my drink glass ever got less than half full. Will definitely return and highly recommend!! More...

Chad is amazing. Yes... Chad the valet guy. The best beginning and ending to a dining experience you will ever have. There are enough reviews here about how spectacular the food and ambiance are at Angelina's, but there is not enough said about the caliber of service Chad is committed to in the art (not kidding) of taking care of people. Valet ticket? Nope. The guy just remembers EVERYONE's name and car. We have been here multiple times with multiple rental cars and he just knows! Chad literally runs... I mean sprints, to get your car with barely a chance to enjoy that he's just remembered your name in a sea of 100s of guests. Opens your door. Both of your doors, somehow at the same time. Closed them both too. Thank you Chad! You are certainly one of the main reasons we continue to return to Angelina's! More...

Five stars. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 10+ years, fine dining mostly and this by far, was the best dining experience I have personally had in SWFL.  This restaurants' quality, decor, service,  presentation and most of all FOOD blew me out of the water! Nick was our server. He has been with the restaurant for several years and his knowledge is most impressive. He is one of their sommelier's and clearly has a passion for what he does. He gave us a warm welcome and a tour of the restaurant in leiu of our first visit and Anniversary. We toured the 3 story wine cellar "tower" and had a peek at the herb garden. It is just above the top. They even gave us a hand written Anniversary card placed at our table, along with a complimentary desert.  Totally unexpected little details that really sets them apart from the rest. Dinner was impeccable. Caprese salad with mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes and fresh basil, second course was the fried calamari as well as the infamous butternut squash ravioli; we added 5 grams of the seasonal black truffle (from Burgundy France) to the ravioli for an over-the-top experience. Main courses were the pork belly and scallops as well as the Osso Bucco that just falls off the bone! We were presented with the OMG...I LOVE CHOCOLATE desert for our Anniversary and ordered Nick's suggested Zeppoli with chocolate and raspberry sauces. Yum! We can't wait to go back! More...

Thank you Angelina's Staff for a wonderful Birthday Dinner experience! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a super friendly valet service...didn't catch the young mans name. Our waiter and the rest of the staff that assisted him had superb personalities as well, and the sommelier opened a 1990 vintage with as much elegance as she could. I also want to thank the Hostess for her warm and friendly smile as she assisted in bringing a gift to our table that I forgot in the car, and for escorting me back to my seat as I was not very familiar with the restaurant setting. 5 stars! For a fabulous fancy-pants dining and culinary experience!A skeptic when it comes to high priced restaurants, but I was happily proven wrong this time around. From the moment we pulled up and were cheerfully greeted by the complimentary valet to the complimentary limoncello after dinner drink offered to each guest at the end of our meal, the quality of meal and service was molto molto bene!We were seated next to the massively beautiful center wine room, in a cozy booth that was surrounded by basically floor to ceiling curtains that gave us a true taste of posh privacy. As expected after looking at the wine room, the wine list was large and in charge (with plenty of large and in charge prices to follow suit), but we stuck to a conservative bottle choice. With a yummy bread basket to nosh on pre-meal, we decided to just go for one app to share. The sausage & peppers pizzette was a great size and absolutely delish. The homemade spicy sausage was flavorful and ample, a true star! For a main, it was tough to choose, but I went with Veal Marsala. From presentation to taste I was ready to melt into that dish (veal tenderloin scallopini, wild mushrooms, Marsala sauce, broccolini, roasted potatoes ). Expecting it to be a pricey night, it was even pricier than I anticipated at $39.....but every bite was worth it thankfully! No buyers remorse here. I also tried my hubby's Scallops & Pork Belly for $35 (pan seared scallops, slow roasted pork belly, Yukon gold potato puree, green beans, citrus marmalatta) --- again, a blast of flavor profiles from every possible angle of that dish. Already stuffed to the gills, but told that the four of us could not pass up their most popular dolce dish -- Angelina's Signature Zeppoli for Two (in our case a comfortable four of us shared)!  Couldn't believe how light such a dense dessert could be. Oh and that berry sauce --- I wanted to just drink it down, but decided to keep it classy. There was also a dark chocolate sauce for dipping your pillowy powdery cinnamony dough balls that was utterly delectable. I didn't think my entree could be beat, but the dessert round literally took the cake! While this can't be a weekly (or even monthly --- lets be honest) date night spot due to severe wallet limitations, if you are looking for an elegant night out, look no further and treat yourself to a true evening of fine dining and decadence done right!
