Angela's Catering

Angela catered my daughter’s wedding reception. (March 2019) It was FABULOUS! My guests could not stop commenting on how delicious the food tasted. Usually wedding food is blah, but not when Angela is in charge. Appetizers were ready as soon as the guests arrived and our main meal was ready to be served as soon as I gave her the cue. She went above and beyond to prepare plates for the bride and groom to make sure they could eat. She also added special touches just for the newlyweds of their favorite treats that we had discussed during our meetings. I cannot say enough how perfect everything was. The buffet was gorgeous and decorated to match. Angela took so much stress away from me on an usually very stressful day. She did all of the heavy lifting allowing me to just enjoy the party! Excellent!! That's the word that best describes Angela's Catering. We recently had a car rally and after party. Angela's catered our after party. They drove it home with class! The food was very good. Many people commented and asked for the name of the company. The table display was beautiful. The buffet always remained full. They were on time, informative, professional, and great to work with. Our dinner was moved up by 1/2 an hour unexpectany. Angela and her staff stepped up and made it happen. We loved working with Angela from start to finish. She has a diverse and awesome tasting menu and is very personable. She met with us for a tasting, and we almost couldn't decide what to have her make because it all tasted so good. And we had high expectations; we're foodies. She was more than happy to create a menu tailored just to our wants for our wedding reception. Her assistants were polite and set aside food for us to eat as the bride and groom. Amazing! Angela was not only so professional, accommodating and reasonable, the food was absolutely delicious, the presentation was gorgeous AND everyone loved it! Especially the Bride! I have used Angela's Catering twice now and have gotten nothing but great reviews from my company. I am based in TN but I found Angela on Yelp and the reviews looked good so thought I would try her out for meetings in Salt Lake. Angela catered our wedding on August 20th, 2016 at the Ivy House. We had discussed the menu extensively with Angela and she gave us some wonderful suggestions based on what kinds of food my husband and I enjoy. We were very impressed with her creative ideas to make our wedding meal very special for us and our guests. Not only was Angela so helpful in planning things for the wedding, she was always very sweet to both of us! She wanted to make sure our wedding day went off without a hitch, and we could not have had such a special day without her help. I loved all of my interaction with her and how easy she was to get in touch with. When we saw her setting up, we were blown away by how beautiful the food and the presentation was. The food was also delicious! Our guests asked us multiple times the night of the wedding who our caterer was and we were proud to tell them that we had worked with Angela. Some of our favorite dishes were her stuffed grape leaves, the stuffed mushrooms, and the Parmesan artichoke dip. Angela and her staff have catered two of our weddings, of both daughters. Both had completely different styles and both were completely and wonderfully different. On both occasions, I had prior surgeries and it was difficult to navigate our way with the weddings. Angela and her staff took it on, and decorated their own tables and it was fuss free, professional and within budget. I really wish I had been able to go with her for the 3rd wedding of our son, because I'm sure I would have been happier with the variety and set up and professional staff. Angela worked with us at two different venues - Sun River Gardens (first time for her) and at the Old White Stone Church in Pleasant Grove, which is now a reception center (first time for both of us). She made it all look easy, worked with venues who had not known her before (or thrown receptions at their facilities) and it was all to the perfect temperatures and I didn't have a thing to worry about. Angela is great to work with and is very accommodating. She recently catered my daughter's Bat Mitzvah and we had both a kids table and an adult table. Last Spring I was assigned the task of researching and comparing the range of services and menus that could best fulfill our need for catering our High School Senior's graduation party. Recognizing we had a great desire to celebrate in style, yet on a limited budget, I began the search. My first phone call was to Angela's Catering Inc. I left a message with Angela, as I did with several other catering businesses, and Angela was the first to respond. Upon hearing our budget and the type of event we were having, Angela excitedly jumped on board. In very little time she outlined excellent menu ideas that surpassed the vision we believed our budget afforded. From that moment on she stood out above the rest of the catering businesses I contacted. After assuring us she would meet our expectations while working within our budget, we  trustingly booked our event with Angel's Catering Inc. I am grateful to say Angela and her catering staff exceeded our expectations as we celebrated Graduation 2014. All the families involved were able to enjoy the event knowing Angela had our backs. The food arrangements were exuberant, the variety exceptional and the taste exquisite. Compliments from guests rapidly spread. Requests for the name of our caterer did too. At the close of the celebration, Angela's staff returned the kitchen to its original order. They also assured us that if we chose not to take any left-over food home, it would be graciously given to a food shelter. Everything they did for us was with passion and joy. We kept getting comments on how great our food was. Angela's was really good at tailoring a menu to our needs and compared to other caterers, the cost of the catering for the amount of food you get is great. They provided servers who cleaned up tables and manned the food tables which was extremely helpful. They also served our cake and provided a knife and plates for the cutting of the cake. These guys were THE MOST AMAZING caterer's I could ever hope for! We went to several different ones and decided to contact her even though her prices seemed a bit high on the website. She was SO SO flexible with our budget and our food was beyond what we could have imagined. It was so wonderful. I recommend them to everyone I meet. Seriously, gourmet beautifully presented food for a price that will fit whatever budget you have. They cut and served the cake, they had people to keep everything clean and look beautiful at our reception. If I had even fathomed how awesome they were I would have them do our dinner as well instead of going to a restaurant. More...
