Friday afternoon at 5:30 (because that, of course, is when things always go wrong) -- our garage door broke. Broker than broke. Wouldn't budge. It was the large spring. I looked on line, expecting I wouldn't even be able to reach anyone until Monday, much less get a repair. Of all the companies I considered and contacted, American Garage Doors of Woodbridge had the best reviews, and quoted me the lowest price. Best of all - they were at my house in less than 90 minutes. Service was quick, efficient, and very upfront. After he replaced the broken spring, he completed a thorough garage door/door opener inspection and tune up. He even made advanced recommendations on what to choose when our loud, aging garage door opener finally goes out to pasture. Sam is AWESOME! He came to our rescue and provided us an amazing deal on our spring, cable, and wheel thingy (LOL) replacement. He was professional, quick, efficient, and cost effective. Literally the best deal for the job. Other company's quoted us $250 - $320, but Sam beat that price, provided an online coupon, and a 3 three year service / spring replacement warranty. Yesterday my garage door spring broken. It was a bad wether snowing day. I called few other garage door companies they were closed.
