Where do I begin. I had a disastrous experience with ANOTHER company who ruined my tub twice. I am 8 months pregnant and was desperate to get this all done before baby comes. I called John and he squeezed me in to their busy schedule. He had Gerard and his colleague come out to completey start over since the last guy left a mess. They did a great job. They were professional, thorough, covered everything properly ( even the carpets in my hallway which I really appreciated), they explained everything to my husband and showed him step by step what they were doing. I was so nervous given the last experience with the previous refinisher but could not be happier with the work done. You guys really helped calm this very anxious pregnant lady!! Called and spoke with the owner John. This was a last minute call and he advised that he might have an opening 3 days later on a Saturday. He said he would call back the next day and did. They gentleman were on time and professional. They brought their own tarps to lay down and cleaned up after. The whole glazing of tub and tile surround took only a few hours. I called American Bath and spoke to the most friendly and knowledgeable owner John. Gerard and Johnny resurfaced my entire bathroom and it looks like a brand new bathroom. In fact it looks nicer than when the bathroom was new. Unbelievable how quick they got it done, neatness of their work and incredible low price. They also did some electrical work that no other electrician was able to locate and fix the problem. I am recommending them to all my friends. Better then I could of ever imagined. Gerard and Johnny removed our old tub and converted the area to a shower, and we are over-the-moon happy with the results! The job was done with excellent quality work and quality materials. We knew we had something special when Gerard (without our asking) removed the decorative ceramic border tiles from the old bath area without breaking them, and then replaced them when the work was done. It was a thoughtful gesture, just one of many that we appreciated. The work was completed in the time given, and with a minimum of mess. We are confident that should any problem develop, a phone call to the company will have someone here immediately – because they are that reliable. An outstanding job! More...
