Decent hotel. Don't love that there isn't access to an ice machine. They say they can bring I've to your room but it's not very much when you're trying to pack a cooler. Good views.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting in the middle of Sedona and is only a short walk up the hill to downtown! The pool, spa, and outdoor lawn spaces are all extremely nice and the restaurant was fantastic. The rooms were quite nice and the stay was all around great! More...

Great place to est brunch. Free valet and extra friendly staff.
From the pet friendly location (they literally had a welcome sign for a families dogs at the lobby with treats ready for them) to the free newspapers that you just dont see anymore.
Then there is the food! Small menu but great options with tastes that I have not experienced much. The blood Mary was a unique twist as well.
We will be back! Recommending to others.

It was our first time staying at this hotel and we love it. Their customer services here is excellent. From valet parking guys, to front desk, to room services they were fast and super helpful.
Kevin, from the front desk was so helpful and super friendly; he had a smile on his face the whole time helping us even though it was 10pm. Very knowledgeable of the area too.
The room is super clean. It has almost everything you need there. Our room was by the creek, so it was quiet and peaceful.

Stayed as part of a company annual retreat. Our group reserved a large portion of the hotel. Our room was very nice with an extra large spa tub. The staff were all extremely friend and helpful for the duration of our stay. Room service was extremely expensive, but good quality (we paid $15 for a plate of fruit for our baby. Quite the markup). The pool was lovely and there's a little hiking path along the creek that we really enjoyed. The wine hour in the evening was a nice social addition to our stay. I enjoyed a 30 minute massage from the spa which was a wonderful way to relax. More...

Excellent food, amazing views of the red rocks and courtyard area with pool, attentive service, and delicious drinks! This restaurant really exceeded my expectations for being located in a hotel! We ate here several times for lunch and dinner and never had a dish that wasn’t delicious! My sister ordered the salmon for dinner one night and I got the filet. Both very tasty. Stayed with girlfriends at the Kimpton Amara a few weeks back. The entire visit was amazing - the location, the restaurant, the room, the pool, the bar and most importantly - the staff. I cannot compliment the parking gentlemen highly enough: always welcoming, helpful, and ready to shuttle guests around town as needed! My experience at Amara Resort was absolutely incredible. The most important thing I will mention is that I was traveling with my dog.
Not only did the staff welcome him with open arms, but there is NO pet fee or breed restrictions! They offer complimentary pet beds, bowls and treats. Dogs are allowed everywhere and on the restaurant patio. I had a courtyard room so my sliding glass door went right into grass, which was extremely convenient for taking my dog out.
This resort has the friendliest staff. I travel A LOT with my dog, and this was the best service I've ever received. The service at SaltRock restaurant is also extraordinary. They made me feel special. The views are wonderful and the food was great!
In the morning there is delicious coffee in the lobby. The resort is within walking distance of several shops and restaurants. My favorite part of the resort grounds was having access to Oak Creek. It was so peaceful. I cannot wait to visit this resort again. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable.

Wonderful stay at Amara! The rooms are lovely and very clean - nice little patio with two chairs outside of room. Great infinity pool with an awesome view of the Red Rocks, including Snoopy Rock! Can't say enough things about the staff - from the quick and friendly valet service to the wonderful wait staff at the pool bar. Loved eating and drinking at Salt Rock - bartenders Eddie and Artie are so nice and the drinks are definitely on point! We used the complimentary shuttle to eat at Mariposa our last night which is another nice amenity. I received a facial at the Spa with June and that service also exceeded my expectations. I placed a call to the Kimpton Amara in Sedona, Arizona in the early afternoon asking some very specific questions.
The woman on the phone said to send her an e-mail with the details and that she would forward the message on. I received an e-mail back from another staff member in about two hours--something that I never would have imagined--with all of the answers that I needed and more!
The staff that I have interacted with has been kind, open, informative, helpful, and just all around spectacular! Thank you so much for all of your help!!

A great blend of luxury and comfort in a beautiful and intimate setting. Friendly service as with all kimpton hotels, very nice pool area and dining. Rooms were also great. Had the nicest time at the resort. The staff is so incredibly helpful and kind and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I came with my boyfriend for his birthday and they made it so special for him (they gave him a birthday card at dinner that had been signed personally by the staff that day). We even booked a massage at the spa there and that was also amazing. The therapists were great anf they gave us a toast at the end to celebrate his birthday as well. All around amazing trip, will definitely be coming back and recommending to others. More...

Ambiance is great. You have a fantastic view of the mountains in front of you. We ate at 5pm with our 1 year old daughter and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. I had the Pork Shank and my wife had the scallops. The Shank was quite tender and the accompanying beans were nicely seasoned but for the price point I would have expected it to be a bit more moist. I tasted my wife's scallops and accompanying risotto . The scallops came with a lemon cream sauce and were very enjoyable. Unfortunately the scallops were a bit underdone and the risotto lacked the richness I would expect from it. All in all we had a very enjoyable experience at Saltrock and would recommend it but given the price point there were a couple of issues with the food that dropped it from a 5 to a 4 in my opinion. We recently had our wedding here and it was the best experience I could have ever asked for. Everyone there exceeded my expectations! The hotel grounds and rooms are beautiful. The ambiance and perks are top notch. And the staff are all beyond helpful and welcoming. The onsite restaurant is also phenomenal!
