I love taking raw, authentic, and candid moments. There is so much more emotion in these types of images.

There are so many reasons why I love weddings: I love all the little details, the way you get to express who you are as a couple, and the excitement of capturing your day and all the special candid moments. My job as a photographer is to catch every moment and give you photos to cherish for a lifetime. It truly is an honor for me to do what I do.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have loved photography since I was young, so after I graduated high school, it only felt right to pursue my passion and get a degree in photography. Right after college, I got a position as a commercial photographer for a high-end, online decor company. I loved using my creativity to set up room scene photos, but what was missing is my passion for people. I love telling stories through my lens, especially love stories. So, I decided to quit my corporate job and go full time with Alyssa Parker Photography. I've never looked back.
