I have known Alyssa since elementary school & were we're best friends. I had reconnected with her once I got engaged. I would always see her work on Facebook & her work is beautiful. She charges a reasonable amount compared to others & her work is amazing! She was so sweet when she came over for trial & we had so much to talk about. Alyssa did all the makeup for my wedding in June. She did an amazing job and was so great to work with – she did everyone's makeup the way they wanted it and asked me to be completely honest about anything I liked or didn’t like so I would look the way I wanted to. She was also really easy to talk to and helped keep me calm the morning of the wedding. Her makeup was beautiful and lasted really well throughout the night! Could not say better things about this lovely lady! She worked on my bridal hair and makeup and all of my ladies. Alyssa is incredible. I actually found her on Thumbtack and was weary of using another service. However, after looking at all of her social media sites I was sold. I had her do my trial for my bridal shower and I was so so sooooo happy. She is so sweet and personable. I felt like she was just one of my girlfriends. Alyssa is so passionate about what she does and definitely looks out for her clients best interest! She made me feel and look amazing on my wedding day. I was so skeptical about getting my makeup done because I am not one to wear a lot or any makeup on a daily basis (because I don't know what I'm doing) but let me tell you what she did was so natural and beautiful. Alyssa is truly an artist! Honestly I am so beyond happy that I found her, my day would not have been the same. Not only is Alyssa kind, encouraging, joyful and talented but she has such a gift for making you feel so much like yourself while also making you feel the most beautiful you have ever felt! I tell everyone, the best I have ever felt was on my wedding, and that was because of Alyssa! She was prompt, organized, prepared and listened to exactly what I was looking for, and she wasn't afraid to double back during my trial to make sure I saw my vision. Alyssa has done make up for my engagement photos, my bridal shower, my wedding (also my hair, which is down to my lower back and she didn't flinch when I told her I wanted an up-do), and has since then done lots of work for my family and friends, all who have all raved about her as well! In times where you can potentially feel really self conscious and vulnerable, Alyssa makes sure that you really feel like a friend is with you during the process. I have nothing but great things to say about Alyssa, her work ethic, and her professionalism. I had booked my original hair and makeup artist over 5 months before my wedding, and long story short, had to look for a new makeup artist THE WEEK of my wedding. I was so relieved when I heard that Alyssa was available during the busiest season of the year. Since it was the week of my wedding we didn't have any time for a makeup and hair trial, and we had to just go off a couple of photos of styles I liked. I personally don't like wearing too much makeup but I wanted to really shine on my day. Alyssa nailed it the first time! The only two other times I've had my makeup professionally done I had to keep asking them to tone down on the eyebrows and eyeshadow. I couldn't believe how I had lucked out given my last minute circumstances. I can't recommend her enough. Put simply, Alyssa is amazing! Right before I came across Alyssa's website I had just experienced one of the worst makeup trails ever. I was super discouraged and worried I would have to settle for someone last minute. I looked Alyssa up on Yelp and despite there being few reviews they were all really good, so I decided to reach out to her. I AM SO GLAD I DID. Working with Alyssa was an absolute dream. We first did a makeup trail at her house and it was such a good experience. She LISTENED to everything I said and did a beautiful job. I was thrilled I found her and immediately booked her for my day. On the day of my wedding Alyssa showed up right on time and ready to work. She brought an assistant, Emily, who was also so sweet and friendly. They made sure there was enough time to get everyone done so the process was super seamless and stress free. When Alyssa was finished with my hair and makeup I went to go look in the mirror and was blown away. I had never felt more beautiful in my life. I started to tear up and so did she (thats the kind of person she is...so sweet). She truly loves what she does and cares about her clients and it shows! Alyssa is fantastic!!!! She came down to San Diego for a small fee to do my makeup trial for our engagement pictures, then came to both our hotel and wedding venue in Temecula on the wedding day. She listened to me when I explained that I don't wear much makeup, and wanted to look like myself on my wedding day. She nailed it.
