This was my husband and I's first time eating in Aloy but we have grub hub'd it before. My go to is pad Thai, which is what I've had before and it's everything you'd hope it would be. Tonight though, my husband was on a mission to try Khao Soi after seeing the diners, drive ins, and dives episode on tv last night (for their sister restaurant in Boulder). I had a sip of the broth and it was so creamy! And how can you go wrong with noodles in the soup and a giant garnish of fried noodles on the top?!So I also decided to switch it up and get drunken noodles, a recent new fav. Boy oh boy were they good. I decided to go with regular spice and next time I might step it up a notch since it didn't really hit the spice note I was hoping for. But everything else was drool worthy! The noodles were perfectly tender, veggies and chicken cooked just right, and had the perfect hit of basil (many places seem to be heavy handed with the basil). I had the Thai fried rice with chicken and salmon. Very good. I got level two spice, I should have gotten three. I enjoyed my dish, and the Thai tea was good as well! Visiting from out of town, first restaurant we visited in Denver, really nice. Cozy atmosphere!!! More...

I recently took my mother out for her birthday ( weekend lunch) and wanted some really good Thai food. I honestly wanted to try something new and looked online for reviews. I have to say, the other rave reviews convinced me, and let me tell you they were spot on. The service was super friendly, the food was super fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed our time, and it was a really fun atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Aloy Thai for anyone that's looking for a weekend lunch, which is what we went, or dinner. I like the tom yum soup at Alloy. I also like the Kao soi noodle dish. I do not recommend the pineapple fried rice, it is bland with a ton of curry. It just doesn't align with what this dish should be in my opinion. Thumbs down on the thai tea- there is a weird after taste that I can't pinpoint. Exceeded my expectations based on the reviews. Ordered the Crab cheese wontons, panang curry and drunken noodles and all three were tasty. BEWARE: Spicy means spicy and extra spicy means your taste buds are on fire. Only downside to the place is trying to find parking but such is par in downtown denver. Made a quick stop for dinner. Shrimp Fried Rice was very delicious! I had them add extra vegetables it had cucumbers and tomatoes which I thought was odd I never had cucumbers or tomatoes and shrimp fried rice however it was actually really good!

Love this place! Excellent Thai food. Went with some work colleagues. I am vegan and there are lots of options. Had the corn fritters (excellent), the egg rolls (good) and one of the soups (excellent). My colleagues had various different Thai stir fries, and all loved their dishes. This is my first time eating here (actually picking up my order).  I've tasted many Panang curry dishes from various Thai restaurants and I have to say hands down to Aloy Modern Thai. They have the best Panang curry in town. The fact that I love super spicy foods, when I asked for extra spicy and Thai spicy, I got it! BLESS. MY. SOUL. Y'all, wow. Eating a meal like this makes you realize Denver is not at all "culture free" as I've regularly heard. I was cold and in need of something that would stick to me -- only drunken noodles would do and damn this place exceeded my expectations so so wildly. We started off with the spring rolls and Wagyu hot rock...what a way to start a meal! It was hard to believe we'd move on from such dazzling appetizers but when the entrees came out, I thought I might cry. Drunken noodles so good I can't remember what my friend ordered -- an equally delicious kobe beef dish, no doubt. As if on queue and listening to my thoughts, the lights dimmed just as our food arrived, and this totally took the evening from early dinner to the start of a small exploration of Denver's night life.Drinks were incredible, service warm and friendly, AND I got to hear 2 of my top five Led Zeppelin songs during the service. Really good thai food! There's a decent selection of vegan options. The corn fritters are amazing and you get a lot of them for $7!
