Tim Alexander was awesome for a spooky haunted Halloween party in a small condo for both adults and a few kiddo's. He was very amenable to customizing the timing and mechanisms for performance, including casual close-up magic with cards and such as he milled around when people began straggling in to a final show! Alexander is outstanding! Our company hired him for a company party. He traveled around the office for 2 hours doing one on one shows with small groups before doing a show for the entire group. Tim Alexander performed for my daughter's 4th birthday party, and people just can't stop talking about it. I don't know how he did it, but he managed to hold the attention of 20+ completely awestruck preschoolers for 45 minutes, and they are STILL talking about him. He performed a "mouse" trick that had our whole crowd of about 50 people squealing with delight. I can't remember laughing so hard before. And that's one of the best parts---his show entertained the kids AND parents! I even had a parent come up to me at the end to say that his performance was so good that the only explanation she could come up with was that it was actually real magic. (Tim, how did you make that ball levitate?!) And an out of state guest said the only bad thing about Tim Alexander is that he doesn't live near her! Highly recommended!!!!!! More...

Absolutely, hands down, the BEST SHOW IN TOWN!!!  Here's the set up:  In 2011 my daughter was going to graduate from McMinnville High School.  Now, don't shoot me, but I married my true love who lived in WICHITA in Sept of 2010, and I left my poor daughter behind in Oregon to stay with her doting grandparents for her senior year (with her own car and sent her $550/month, so really, don't shoot me!)  Heck, at least I didn't drag her off to Wichita, right  Her and her friends had a great year.  I'm admitting all of this so you might appreciate the pickle I was in.  I had a major obligation to my girl and those dear friends who meant so much to her.OK, so... here comes her graduation and that means grad party time.  It had to be GOOD!  I mean, it had to be OVER-THE TOP awesome, but I didn't know, for sure, what to do.  Then, you know how you have those moments when a little bird whispers, "Do this!" and you know that's what to do?  I ordered a magician, but only GOD could know which one.  Thank you, God, for leading us to Alexander.More set up:  Her party was scheduled for Sat after a full night of parties.  Would anybody even come  Yes!!!  Every one of those 17, 18, 19 year olds wanted to come and they each became 5 again.  OMG, did we ever have FUN and we were totally blown away by his charm and skills!  Never has magic been so mystifying!!  Still in the Midwest, my husband and I will fly him to us when we ever need to impress like that again.  Plane ticket and board on top of his fee?  Totally worth every cent. We had Alexander to our home for our daughter's 9th birthday and he was a huge hit with the girls. They were mesmerized (as was I).  Great sleight of hand tricks, making balls appear and disappear at will.  Rope tricks.  Pulling things out of hat tricks.  Old school magic, but the kind that still impresses.  Each girl participated some and the birthday girl was the star of the show towards the end. The grand finale was the release of what seemed like a hundred paper butterflies.  A spectacle in our living room which had the girls scrambling to catch them.  Afterwards, he showed them  three tricks, up close, and how they are done.  All in all, Alexander was the perfect entertainment for a magical birthday.  He also had magic kits for sale ($5) which are the perfect gift for all who attended. How long have you been interested in magic?
I performed my first magic show at 11 years old, but as a kid I was more interested in marionettes until I lost all interest such trivial matters beginning in middle school! I studied, earned a master's degree, and taught art at the college level for ten years. I got interested again performing impromptu tricks for my nieces, and when my daughter turned 4, I performed my first show as an adult at a community center. They hired me for their Halloween shows and from those I received my first paid bookings. Within few years I became a full-time professional! That was almost 20 years ago!

We had Alexander come to company’s annual Christmas party and he was superb. He started with some close up magic as people were gathering and having drinks. He gently approached each group and gradually astounded them with his tricks. Then we all sat and he did a wonderful job of entertaining and amazing us including a levitation of a small table. There were several skeptics in the group yet they were all converted.

We hired Alexander for strolling magic for a corporate event. He was on time, and ready to go before the party started, which is something I appreciated as the event planner. My daughter and I just attended a party for 5 year old Sanji and I wanted to say you put on a great show! You picked my daughter Aria to assist with one of the tricks (the ball one) and she is STILL talking about it. She was completely smitten with your show and has told her father, her grandmother, and anybody who will listen… I was seriously impressed with the show as well and the way you engaged the children. I know you don't know this but Aria didn't know any of the children at the party besides Sanji and was feeling very shy (hence sitting in my lap, a part from the rest of the children). When you picked her, she came out of her shell and started to engage with the other children and had a great time at the party.
