Successful for a recent launch. The food was MUCH better than what Roxu offered. Having sushi and Italian food together in one place is really weird, but once you get over that awkward menu, no issues.
Bread with oil was served to the table, but we did not receive plates to eat with, and crumbs got everywhere since we were ripping the slices from each other and eating over nothing but the tablecloth. Our server was great, but two different managers stepped in THEEE TIMES to micromanage unnecessarily, and this kept the server from doing her job. Seems like they had no trust in their staff’s ability, which was off-putting.
Overall, opening kinks that will be worked out with time, I will definitely return.

Ok, so I don't eat sushi, but I do eat Italian! I was so happy to visit Joe's new place and get to enjoy some of their delicious food -- their sauce is the best.
Service was friendly and very accommodating for a larger group with just walking in and the atmosphere was great, perfect music, warm and cozy and beautiful decor!
Visit this place, it simply amazing!!!

We have so much fun coming to Agostinos. He loves Old school Italian, I love QUALITY sushi. This is the best of both worlds. Their calamari is amazing! The marinara has fresh chunks of tomato and ribbons of basil throughout. We shared the Meat Lasagna..simply delicious. The pomtini is the perfect adult fruit punch. We had the Chicken Parmesan and the Fettucine Pescatore. Both were excellent. Presentation and service. we also enjoyed the deserts which were also delicious.
Maurice Moss Stanley was on the piano which was a nice touch during our dinner. He was very enjoyable to listen to. The staff was very attentive and as it was our first visit, they took the time to give us the rundown on the Sushi Rock concept. Two menus. Everything looked wonderful.
Suggest my Lakewood wine lovers check it out. Nice job!

Great modern vibe. Food is delicious whether Italian or sushi. Service is prompt, couteous, and definitely with a smile. Informed barkeep able to recommend wines. Whether you get sushi or Italian or both (which you may think is a weird combination, oddly works well together), you will eat authentic, delicious food and leave full. The best time to go is happy hour 5-7 before it gets busy and there are great deals on drinks, apps and 1/2 off sushi. The Brussel sprouts are AMAZING! we also love the fried mozzarella, calamari and the tuna nachos. Spicy California roll is our favorite off the 1/2 off sushi menu. I will say you get better service at the bar- sitting in the dining room we have always had to wait forever, it's not the servers faults because they always seem understaffed. The live music has also never been a disappointment! (Especially when Moises is playing!!) Def recommend to everyone to give this place a chance! More...

Love it, for those who know me I don't typically promote businesses in which I have involvement, but in this case, I am and will.
Agostino's Sushi Rock has great food, a great atmosphere and an evolving staff learning the ropes of serving 2 different types of food being delivered from 2 distinct kitchens. For those in the business, you know this is not simple.
Sure we make mistakes, things are not always perfect, but I am proud to be part of this team and proud to bring my friends, family and associates to our place.
To those who provide negative ratings to anyone in business, consider first giving people the opportunity to address your issues and concerns.
If you were judged on your job simply upon one project or experience, I doubt most people would always be perfect.
Please come check us out, and if you have visited before, please come again.

We LOVED the brussel sprout appetizer. It could convert non-eaters of brussel sprouts. I enjoyed the sushi small rolls that were on special. My husband and brother-in-law liked the cavatelli, and my sister loved the veal marsala. The house red wine is several steps above most house reds. I would definitely order it again. Happy hour prices are a really good value. Service is attentive and friendly. With a baby grand piano, it's a good venue for music, yet the sound doesn't preclude conversation. In other words, the perfect night out. Blu Monsoon, a jazz trio (piano, bass guitar and drums) made its Agostino's Sushi Rock debut the night we were there -- great original music and covers. Our second visit here and tried the Sushi this time. It was very good! We will definitely be back, but it will be hard to decide what to order; Italian or Sushi!! We at Agostino's have learned exactly which foods will make your guests come back for seconds, and this knowledge has led to our very successful “Fusion Cuisine Concept”. This means that you can now look to just one catering business to access high quality Italian, American, and Japanese food and catering services. We consider our menu to have only our best signature dishes available.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Our Coordinator takes her time to walk thru the menu with each client. Providing ideas and concepts based on the clients requests and budget.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I love working with people and always wanted to be my own boss.
