Make sure to hire someone who really cares and is passionate about accounting. Businesses who do bookkeeping strictly for income-sake or "on the side" may not actually care about doing a good job. Also, hire someone who takes the time to get to know you and your business. That way, they will have more insight on how to do your business' books correctly for both the industry you are in and, more specifically, how your business operates. Lastly, and most importantly, hire a business with integrity and honesty. Hiring a company without integrity or honesty may end up costing you your business in the long run.

Watching my clients grow and the interaction I have with them. I've been told by numerous clients that they consider me their "business partner" and that they "don't know what I'd do without you." When clients see the value in what I do and how important it is, that is very fulfilling for me and those are the clients that get the most out of our business relationship with me.

I worked for "corporate America" for many years in financial departments/roles and, due to restrictive job descriptions, found myself unfulfilled with the type of work I was doing. I decided to start my own business as a passion I've had since high school and I could design my own "job description" without being restricted with what I was or was not allowed to do.

I am a perfectionist and excellence/quality is of the utmost importance to me. There is nothing more satisfying for me than a client who is happy with the services they are purchasing from ABC BookWerks. My clients and the professional trust they have in me. I also enjoy my relationships with my clients. Due to my psychological nature, I am an excellent accountant and listen to my clients' needs and concerns.
