A Well Behaved Dog

Over the years, I've used many supposedly excellent, professional dog trainers. Since my pets are my family, along with my children, I take very seriously who does what with my dogs. I've found that 9 of 10 dog trainers talk the talk, but don't walk the walk. I don't care how long they've been in business, how big, or how extensive their training. In other words, anyone can have head knowledge, but very few really have heartfelt caring, nurturing, emotional support, and overall service - even with Intuitive insight about what the dog is all about, their personality, communications, desires and Soul knowledge. Thus, you end up with a robot dog, with inconsistent results over time.In working with Amanda for many years, with my dogs and dozens of others I've referred to her - I've found that there just isn't ANYONE, that's as Complete of a Trainer, as Amanda. She goes beyond the extra mile, in every department. One of my friends had 3 of the top trainers in the state, try to calm and train their dog, over a period of about 8 months. They spent a lot of time & money - then just figured it was a lost cause, and might just have to get rid of their dog, which they'd had since a little puppy. Then Amanda comes along. Within 3 sessions with Amanda, this dog made over 50% progress. Within a few more sessions, this dog, was a brand new dog - she saved the day. The owners were in tears, and couldn't believe it.So, my recommendation is this. Don't gamble with your Dog Trainer. I've called Amanda Self, "The World's Best Dog Trainer" for many years, and I've always meant it, because "RESULTS TELL THE TRUTH".Hire Amanda first. Do what she says exactly, and in the time it takes. Don't jump around with other trainers and confuse the dog. Get the Best out of the gate and spend the Money - this is your Family, and your everyday life quality. In 6 years, I've not had even ONE bad experience with Amanda's training, nor have any of the dozens of other people I've referred her to. I just can't say enough good things about Amanda Self and her company, "A Well Behaved Dog". Nobody has more HEART, than Amanda Self, regarding your dogs. We just completed 6 weeks of in home training. My puppy was not old enough/didn't have enough shots to attend obedience classes, so we had Amanda come to our house. I'm so glad we did!! Amanda is an amazing trainer and I know we were able to accomplish so much more in our private sessions than would have been possible in a large class. Amanda is awesome! We got a wild Chocolate Lab puppy and she helped us turn him into a well behaved companion! Getting training from Amanda is one of the best decisions you could make for you and your dog.

I am so happy to have met and worked with Amanda to train our golden retriever, Lucy. Amanda’s approach makes so much sense, is easy to follow, and uses positive reinforcement – so, is a complete joy for the dog too! Amanda has amazing instincts and truly loves animals.
